Courtyard (South)

Rake watched the growing crowed. Kara was gone and back to her tree so he hopped up from the ground and begain wandering. It was pretty nice to see more people about, felt more like school was going on, and less like he was just waiting on it to start.

He Yawned and closed one eye, as he leaned against the statue again, still with the necklace of flowers around his neck. The smell was...plesant. But he wondered if he looked like a dork wearing them.

"I can't die" he said confidently, saying nothing more, leaving Tomoro to try and translate exactly just what this meant.. as she picked herself up, he soon did as well but instead of leaning against the tree took a step forwards as he watched the fight before them. One of them seemed to be a fire starter as he shot a blast of fire towards the other after shouting something, and Seth cocked an eyebrow at this.

"Strange.. I never really had to say 'fire' to get my pyrotechnics to work..." he said curiously, and then looked to Tomoro who was leaning against the tree. He could tell she was gritting her teeth, but at what exactly? He watched a girl trample off through the grass, and he guessed they just weren't very good friends, but said nothing..

He noticed her looking up once again, as she very often did. Grinning slightly at this, he simply looked to the battle before them once again and watched.

 

[Winny-chan]

"Obviously. They haven't gained complete control of their powers yet, and thus think that they need some battle slogan, like cartoon superheros. It's pathetic." She said this almost with a certain disgust, eyes still up at the sky as dirt and fire was being poured into the earth, and into the air, blockig her view of the clouds. If she didn't get out of there, she would start coughing any second.

"I'm going somewhere... much less populated." She said rather loudly, and without waiting for a response from Seth, she walked off, hands folded across eachother, her hair swaying slightly back and forth.

About 50 meters away from the battle, Tomoro sat on an abandoned bench surrounded by nothing but dirt... there wasn't any grass or trees in this area. In fact, one wouldn't even recognize it was part of the Courtyard, and she sat down happily, leaning backwards and stretching her back out, yawning for a minute or two. Nice... and quiet... she thought to herself as she looked at the ground, pouting slightly. Bending back over, she touched the ground with her index finger, and instantly the entire area grew a dark green color, followed by sprouts popping out of the soft Earth. It was like watching the growing process at 10 times the rate, because fifteen seconds later, the Earth was covered with a large area or greenery. Tomoro sat back and enjoyed her work, smiling all the while.

Seth turned to Tomoro once she mentioned leaving to find that she had already began to trot off, not even waiting for a resonspe from him as she began to walk away, looking rather upset. He stood there and watched her walk off for a few moments, wondering what it could have been that upset her, before walking after her. As he continued to walk not too far off behind her, he watched as she sat upon a dirt part of the Courtyard, and then as she turned it into a lush green scene. He smiled slightly, standing just a few feet away from where she was seated, admiring how she had done this to what seemed to be a dead piece of land.. he had never really met an Earth elemental before. Nothing but heard of them.. "Um.. I'm sorry to ask, but.. what was with the.." he finally brought his eyes away from the green scenery and looked to tomorrow "the walking off thing back there..?"

 

[Kara Kimari]

As she watched the fights and the people, she too grimanced at the pain the grass had felt, but looking up, she spotted Rake. Taking this as a cue, she jumped out of the tree and flew 10 feet before landing near him in the same position she had the day before. She stood and looked at him happily, saying "Hi again." with her perkiest tone.  

[Winny-chan]

"The dust. The smoke. The idiots." She said this without a second thought, and refused to set her eyes on Seth. Plainly... this was becoming a little boring. She needed something exciting to do... Flicking her hair around her face, almost from boredom, she glanced off into the distance for a bit, wondering what to do...No more talk... go find something to beat up? No, that's not good... just wander around...? Tomoro let out a soft sigh as she went over the many thoughts in her mind. What.. could she do?

Bringing her eye up to feel her eyepatch, but realizing it wasn't there at all, she quickly put her hand down, clasping it onto the bench. If her eyepatch was on.. evil could sense her a bit more easily. It was strange, but it always worked out that way. Tapping her finger on the bench, she didn't really... have anything to talk about.

To tell the truth, she was burned out of conversations and stories to tell, for now..  

[Misao]

As Seth and Tomoro talked, Hikaru came walking by, still dressed in her swimsuit from her trip to the hot springs earlier. She was walking back toward her dorm room, twirling her towel around and whistling merrily as she went. Spotting her friend sitting on a bench, she waved happily as she dashed over to where Tomoro was.

"Tomoro! Hey!" she called out loudly. "Where ya been? I thought we were gonna hang out sometime!"

She skidded to a halt in front of the bench, grinning happily. Noticing the guy she was with, she yanked her tank top out and pulled it on before turning to him and waving.

"Hiya!" she said in her usual friendly tone. "Who's your friend, Tomoro?"

Nodding as she stated her opinions rather quickly, he made sure not to open his mouth once again. He figured she was probably still ticked off at these 'fighters', and thought it best to just leave it at that..

He watched her tap her finger on the bench, still silent, figuring it best not to try and find out what was on her mind. Looking out to the fight before them once again, he sighed as he crossed his arms over his chest. Their fight had seemed to calm down for now and Seth looked to Tomoro once again before sitting by her, his elbows on his knees as he finaly asked her "..what's wrong?"

Just then Seth was interrupted by someone who waved from afar, apparently a girl in a swimsuit, waving to Tomoro. Seth looked to Tomoro "A friend?" and just after he asked the girl was already at their side, talking to Tomoro. He looked up to the girl as she placed a tank top on and greeted him, to which he nodded. "Name's Seth" he said directly after she asked, not giving Tomoro the chance to answer for him..

 

[Immolatus]

Immolatus stood solely in the open courtyard, his flat black robes showed an ominous contrast between the bright colors of the day and the darkness of the night. Finally, he stepped onto the courtyard's green grass where the sun was shining as he sheltered himself with his large black robes. As arfternoon sun shined from above, Immolatus watched his surroundings carefully. Several individuals were gathered about the courtyard; in the distance, Immolatus noticed a strange couple by the bench. He remained standing without moving a muscle as the sun continued to shine.  

[Winny-chan]

"Nothing!" She quickly popped up, forcing a smile. There wasn't anything in particular that Tomoro was worried about... but she had sensed a rather evil presence coming near the area she was standing on, and it made her a bit queasy. It was then that she noticed the familiar voice... a loud stomp...

"Hi, Hikaru! This is... Seth." She said softly, looking away as he said his own name, feeling a bit stupid that she had repeated this. "He... helped me through a difficult time..." Not once did she mention the bruise, nor the coma that he was in... that was a different story altogether. Besides, she had begun to keep her guard up... because something was watching her... or one of the people around her...

It's making me dizzy... However, that thought came a little too late, and Tomoro held her head, bending low to the ground, her feet dangling like a puppet as she closed her eyes. "You guys... something...is near." Why else would she sense it when the Earth whatever it was standing on was screaming out in pain....?  

[Misao]

Hikaru nodded to Seth, giving him her best winning smile. She'd noticed that Tomoro was looking a little less vibrant than usual, but decided to keep it to herself for the time being, especially after hearing that something weird was going on. Her grin faded, and she started looking around cautiously, trying to figure out what it was Tomoro was talking about.

"...Something? What's wrong?" she asked, taking a bit of a defensive posture. "It's not that guy from the dining hall again, is it?" She really hoped it wasn't - she almost died that day trying to help her friends, and the thought of it still made her shudder.

Rake didn't think he'd ever get use to that. "H...Hi!" He tried to hide the fact that she made him jump out of his skin. "This area is pretty popular huh?" He watched a guy and girl chatting to one side and then looked back at Kara and grined. He wasn't use to hanging around people so...perky.

Seth had a bit of a pet peeve when people asked of him to someone else when he was standing just there.. this was actually why he blurted out his own name, but instantly felt bad as he noticed Tomoro saying his name softly and looking away, he hadn't meant to upset her.

He was actually pretty shocked at her next comment, of how he helped her through a hard time.. when she was the one who had helped him..

Before he could say anything, he noticed her place a hand against her head and begin to bend low towards the ground, instantly getting up onto his knees "Tomoro!?" he asked, worried as to what might be going on. "What..? Something?" she wasn't making any sense to him..

By now, there was a small growd of individuals around the one bench where the couple were. Being a new "student," Immolatus lifted his right foot off the grass and slowly walked towards the groupd of people with the robe's hood covering a majority of his face. His arms were hidden under the large robes as he stared straight forwards and slowly made his way towards the large group.
