More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Deora nodded, only glancing to Kerana for a moment. "Then let's give it to him." She said simply, taking a few steps towards the door. She looked to Kerana to make sure she was really ready to leave the guy before opening the door. There was a sudden rush of sound from outside as she passed through into the hallway.

Amelia sits in a tree humming with her eyes closed. A breeze pulled at the cotton dress she wore and she swung a leg back and forth. Birds chirped around her as they danced from tree limb to tree limb. She sighed and opened her eyes to look at the sun through the trees leaves.

"Amelia... Amelia!!" he sighed as he continued to walk through down the hidden path between the the long and over grown grass. "Amelia!!" he growled loudly, getting annoyed with having to walk further into the darn thing. Adjusting his glasses he looked ahead and saw her in the tree not to far in the distance. "Amelia!! Get over here and get down stairs. We need to go into the city." Richard said, before he found a large rock and sat on it.

Amelia sighed and sat up to watch her grandfather sit down. Now only the top of his head could be seen in the tall grass around the tree. "Coming!!" she yelled and hopped down with ease. With a wave of her hand the scenery around her turned back into her room as she reached her grandfather it looked like she popped through the wall herself. "Do we really have to go though... That one was the prettiest one yet. I even drew it before making it this time..." She said while slipping on shoes and grabbing the sketch pad to show her grandfather.

Richard had stood up just in time to see the rock he was sitting on disappear from under him. He stepped back a little and had to take a moment for his old eyes to adjust to the walls coming back into form. "Yes we do. Do you want to eat for the next month?" He said while looking down at the sketch his granddaughter had thrown under his nose. "Good, Good, Amelia." Richard replied with a slight smile before heading out of Amelia's room. "common then, we need to get going before it gets to dark." He made his way down stairs.

Amelia tossed her sketch pad on to the bed and grabbed her bag. "Hey grandpa, can I get a new sketch pad and some paints?" she asked while closing her bed room door behind her.

After a short while Theonis was above the clouds. Literally standing on them. The view was quite something. He wished he had done this earlier.Too bad Trinity was out cold. So he tried to wake her up a bit by nudging her and squeezing her gently.

"Hey Trin, wake up. You've gotta see this."

Trinity's breathing adjusted her eyes slowly open. When she realized where she was she reached for the closest thing which was Theonis' shoulder and pulled herself up instinctively. Then she realized that Theonis was holding her, everything made more sense. Her grip loosened and became more gentle, her hand craddled the side of his face and looked at him "I must be in Heaven...I'm above the clouds and an angel is holding me in his arms". She held it together long enough to tell him then the pain acted up again her eyes closed tight in reaction.

Theonis kissed her forehead.

"I thought I was the flirtatious one." He said.

It really was beautiful up there. Walking on the clouds, no sounds from the city, a calm breeze and warm rays of the sun.

"Thought you had to see this.Ya know what...I'll take you here again when you are feeling better alright?" He told her with a smile. Then something struck him.Adrenaline numbs the pain if he wasn't mistaken. And he didn't like seeing her in pain. A playful grin appeared on his face.

"So eh...two options here. Either I get you back normally but you will be in pain or we take a dive here and get you some adrenaline. We'll also be back a lot faster. Ever took a dive from this height?" He asked her.

He had made up his mind about what they should do but he wasn't going to do that if she didn't want it. Besides she was injured and he wasn't sure if she would even want to go through something as intense as that right now.

She didn't know how long she had been sitting there at the fountain. Moving a little hurt be she didn't care at this point. she had to get home, she wanted to go home and forget everything. Grabbing her board she walked in the direction of the city.

Pulling himself more into the structure that he was hiding in, Jordan hid out of view as the girl began to pass him. Reaching out he grabbed the air around her and pulled it towards him. He opened his palm and looked at the fears before him. He smirked a little at what he saw and dropped it away from him. He dropped his head and leaned onto the wall. A exact copy of him came appeared in the street and looked at the real Jordan. Straightening the his attire, he continued after the girl.

He merely touched her shoulder to grab her attention for her to turn around.

Erin freaked and spun around, dropping her board in the process. Her hands flung out in front of her, wanting to use her powers to freeze whoever came up to her. It was a man she never saw before dressed in the black attire of a priest.

The astral projection of him slowed a little bit, but it was no use, he had already touched her. He continued after her even though it was slower than natural speed. his hand clinched the air that came off of her as he began speeding up again and he smirked. This time the sense of fear was greater and like black smoke engulfed his hand, as it began traveling towards her.

Erin screamed and threw her hands in front of her again and again as she backed away from the man and the black smoke that began following her. Every time the end of it that came towards her exploded due to her powers, it burst into small strands. It still came towards her, and within moments had her covered in the black smoke.

The astral projection of Jordan came forward, the smirk still on his face. "You can be useful to me with those powers..." he remarked as he reopened his hand and looked at the black smoke that covered it. It showed him more clearly the fears that hid in her heart and he chucked softly to himself. He plucked the most abrasive and newer of the fears and forced it further. the black smoke turned thick and gel like almost instantly. Putting his hands together the gel like substance transferred to both and he lowered further to the girl.

Erin began screaming again as the fear came to life around her in her mind, but she was muffled by the black gel like substance that stuck to her for a few moments now traveled up to her mouth, ears, nose, and eyes. It forced her way into her main senses and she chocked for a moment. She dropped to the floor and was shaking. Her eyes bugged and was looking at the floor and she breathed heavy.

Jordan bent down and smiled evilly at the girl. "Good little puppet..." he whispered to her. "have nice little dreams my sweet. I will be looking forward to meeting you again." He stood up and the astral projection vanished. The real Jordan opened his eyes and stood up from leaning on the wall. He moved himself from the niche he was in and looked towards the girl he just came in contact to. The same smile still on his face. Turning around he walked away and out of site.

Erins was trapped in the fear as it rolled over repeatedly in her mind. Those minutes felt like hours. The same scene she was focused on, and paralyzed her. It was the scene she had just escaped from but ten fold. It had engulfed the whole city and the out skirts. There was dead all around her and people using whatever powers they had against the others for the sake of carnage and death... and she was one of them. Erin screamed again as she saw herself taking refuge in the laughter as she blew away people with her powers and made situations where people couldn't get away before killing masses of them.

It finally stopped and she caught herself looking at the ground, and at her shaky hands. Her mind couldn't wrap around what she just went through and what she felt. Her powers, the people dieing by her hands, everything she hated and feared with her powers came true... did it not? She looked around finally to see where that man had gone, but he was no where. She closed her eyes and gave a shaky sigh. She had to calm herself once more before getting up. Erin just wanted to go home, wanted nothing to do with this broken portion of the city. She wanted to be in her apartment and do nothing at this point. Grabbing her board she continued, shakily, towards the city and out of the sub-district.

As Theonis suggested to come back here when she was better, she nodded.

Trinity considers his options and smiled mischievously. She felt that nothing's gained going the easy way. With that in mind she unhooked her legs and slipped out of his other arm and said "Race you down!" as she started to descend. It hurt to move that much but the look on his face was worth it and soon enough the adrenaline rush numbed the pain. She knew she had enough ki to dive into her shadow.

This is something she has done before, she spread her arms and legs out slowing down a little waiting for him to start . Memories of when she was last in this scenario came to her as she continued to fall. Freya took her to go sky diving, without parachutes to get over her fear of falling from extreme heights in the real world and to rely on her power in these scenarios. She used to think it was too extreme but it worked. A year on the job and she had to sneak on a plane to take down a Daedalus agent who thought escaped by flying off only to find himself falling in combat with the head of security. She landed with the agent unconscious and his plane crashed and exploded in the background. Her senseis were proud that day.

She smiled at this memory, it was one of her favorites. Thinking about Freya again made her wonder, how did Daedalus capture her and do what they did to her. She was able to beat her once to graduate training but... she was also a little shocked she won, then again she was able to mess with her a little psychologically and that was the major disadvantage with this Freya.

Theonis was utterly surprised. Either she had done this before or she must trust him completely to think that he would catch her again. This certainly wasn't something he thought of. What a woman.

Theonis dropped himself backwards and fell down headfirst. He wasn't using his powers so he fell at normal speed to catch up with Trinity. She appeared to be....waiting for him by slowing down. Waiting wasn't the right word. She merely slowed down a bit. Within moments Theonis had reached her.

"Girl, you're crazy!! I love it!" he shouted at Trinity to try to make himself be heard because at this speed it was difficult to make hear each other.

Trinity sees him falling getting ahead of her. She heard enough to get the gist of what he said. A smile crept on her face as she brought her arms to her sides and her legs together, allowing her to speed up.

He gets me... He truly gets me... If I had done this with someone else they would stop me, dismiss me as crazy and be all over protective. Theonis, he just embraces it. Perhaps this time it could work...
The more she thought about it the more comfort she took in this thought.

She caught up with Theonis but not completely.

The moment the door was opened Orion's hands clasped his ears, the single visible eye's pupils fluctuating violently. "SHUT THE DOOR..!" Desperation rang throughout his voice gritting his teeth angrily as he rose to his feet and using his telekineses he slammed the door behind her, unknowingly to him Kerana was still inside the room. "I can't...stand such noise..!" Orion mumbled, the hands that had been along his ears gripping the red hair as if he was mentally on edge, mentally about to snap. Dangerous in general, of course he didn't mean to appear so...chaotic...

Deora flinched as the door slammed behind her, and she whipped around, using all her might to keep from kicking the door down and punching the guy square in the face. As it was, she balled her hands tightly into fists and gritted her teeth. "Culo." She muttered through her teeth. She turned in surprise as someone cleared their throat nearby. She turned to see the man from the music store, the one who'd helped her find Justine.

"It's not very polite to talk like that about someone behind their back, even if it's in another language." He said.

"Oh, what do you care? You look like you've done a lot worse." She spat. The man might have helped her earlier, but that didn't do much to ease her current mood.

The man paused for a second before answering. "You're right. I have. I could list off lots of things I've done. But that doesn't make them right."

"This isn't going to turn into a speech is it? I'm not exactly in the mood right now." Deora said.

"Oh, I could tell," The man readjusted the pack on his shoulders, "You looked like you were about to try and take out the door. Would you like to talk a walk with me? Try and work off some of that anger?"

Deora looked at the man incredulously. What did he want? "Where to?"

The man shrugged. "I was on my way to the garage to tend to my bike, but the destination can change if you want it to. I'm guessing from your clothing that you were just at the gym or a sports field, so we could go back there, or I guess there's the training area, which I've been meaning to check out. It's up to you."

Deora thought about the offer, inadvertently calming down a bit now that her mind was taken away from the subject of her anger. A walk would be good, especially if it would actually take her somewhere, instead of uselessly pacing on a treadmill. She still didn't know if she could trust this guy. "I think I'm going to just stay here and wait for my friend, thanks."

The man smiled and gave a small nod before continuing on his way. "Hasta luego." He said as he turned a corner.

Theonis had this huge grin on his face due to the adrenaline. He was enjoying this, every second of it. He had never gone sky diving before. Although he was wondering how he would stop at the end without completely shattering his ribs, it didn't stop him from enjoying it.

This time it was him who turned around to see where she was. Turns out she was already pretty close by. Turning towards the ground again, the wind violently went through his air. This was fun.

Gidget shakes her head. "No Tansy, not ourselves, myself. He's already gotten into your head once, and you are particularly susceptible after having gone through that ordeal just now. I'm not made of flesh and blood, and I don't have a brain he can get into. His type 3 power wont work against me, so I have an advantage. Charles Ray figured this out the hard way several years ago, so now he doesn't screw with me."

Gidget thinks for a moment. When she met Tansy yesterday, Angel had been doing volunteer work in the sub district. Volunteer...or recruiting...the sub district--She accesses her maps and finds a church near the center of the district. That would be a good place to start if Tansy couldn't give her anything definitive.

"Please Tansy, where is that Church?"

"Well... Now it would be part of the Sub-district...." She said sort of absent minded. "Gidget...just.... be careful. This guy ins't like Charles Ray. He has no boundaries." She frowned somewhat as she though back to the darkness she had been living in. None of it had been real. She sighed softly. feeling slightly helpless. "Just, don't do anything stupid just because he can't use his powers, doesn't mean he won't try something else."
