Cadences' eyes widened as she noticed Scythen's hand reaching out for her neck. The tears falling from her tear ducts like little droplets of rain disipated as he spoke of her blood color; Cadence had no choice. It was either her blood or Scythen's. "D-Don't...t-touch me.." Cadence muttered in a quiet, daring tone; her hands began to ball into fists while they shook out of fear. Cadence had no urge to hurt this young man; ctually, she would prefer to discuss this over coffee...but the thought of asking him slipped her mind as his hand grew closer to her neck.

"I-I..don't want to fight..." Cadence whispered again, gazing up at Scythen with sorrow. The red of her pupils began switching colors in an odd mannor; changing from red to purple to blue and then to black...it was as if Cadence was transforming into a hell monster; this wasn't true actually. This always happened when Cadence began to feel threatened, and it was the only way her body warned someone before she would attack; Cadence reminded herself over and over that this was self defense and nothing more.


"Leave..me..ALONE!!!" Cadence high pitched voice echoed throughout the courtyard, and left a stinging sensation in her ears. A large sound barrier appeared from her mouth and surrounded Cadence like an enormous bubble; it was a large amount of sound that was protecting her from Scythen. Cadence wasn't even sure if it was working. After she had screamed, Cadence dropped down to the ground and covered her head with her arms while her entire body scrunched up like a small ball.

((Yes, he had a magical barrier.. and he could've just dodged the sword attack even if he didn't.. and you can't just state that the sword took blood from him and injected poison into his veins... @_@ but no problem, no need to edit the post, I can go work with it..))

About twenty meters away from the fight, Topaz alighted on the grass field, making sure to stay out of harms way. He walked to the grasses edge, where grass met stone, and stopped just short of it. He thought for a bit and then grinned slightly. "I think I know how to spice things up a bit," he said while grinning the huge toothy grin of a dragon. He Inhaled slowly taking in all the air he needed, aimed, and then exhaled sharply. A bright blue colored beam erupted from his mouth striking the stone ground, freezing it instantly, but it didn't stop there; The ground in all directions was turning into a frozen wasteland. The layer of Ice thickened until it looked as if the whole courtyard was a tundra. "There," he said obviously pleased with his work,"That should do it." He turned his tall body around to watch the remnants of the fight.

Scythen kept his hand outstretched, before Yumi's sword suddenly thrust into his leg. He looked down at the sword, which began to turn into a dark color, almost appearing to form into charcoal before it turned into dust and flew away with the wind, the gap created in his leg from it healing itself up instantly, his body's healing process seemed to be like thousands of times more than that of any human being.. he seemed to be anything but a human being..

He watched Cadence scream and tilted his head to the side, a ringing high pitched voice echoing throughout his ears as the girl screamed, and some sort of sound barrier began to protect her, yet Scythen was unphased by this sound. "Interesting.." he then brought down his hand and looked to Seth, beginning to walk towards him now. "Is this what you chose to abandon home for..? These... people!?" he said in a disgusted manner.

He stopped until he was just a few feet away from Seth, his hand stretched out once again, this time towards Seth. "Allow me to bring you home, brother.." he said as a dark mist began to form around his hand, and then circled around Seth's entire body, the mist seeming to pick Seth's body up off the ground and hold him in the air as it circled around him.

Seth could feel a dark force begin to lift him off the ground, and his eyes looked down into the eyes of Scythen to find that a dark, thin cloud stood in between them. "Wait.." Seth said with a weak tone of voice, trieing to buy some time.. he knew Scythen's time was running down, and if he were ever to come back, he might actually come back mortal.. but now.. like this.. he was untouchable.

"I have a message for father.." he said in a choked voice as the mist began to take away his voice. He saw the curiosity in Scythen's eyes, and was surprised as he came falling to the ground, the black mist around him was now gone. "Speak!" Scythen demanded as Seth lay on the ground, then struggled to lift himself up, slowly getting onto both feet once again. "I know.. I know where the box is.. I've hidden it" he said while breathing deeply, looking deep into Scythen's wondering eyes. Just then the ground under them froze.. along with the ground covering the rest of the courtyard.. what was this? No time to dwell on insignificance.. Seth simply shook this thought away, as apparently so did Scythen as he continued to ponder on wether Seth was telling the truth or not, simply ignoring the environment around them.

 

[Ryuka Navali]

Ryuka saw what the dragon in the distance had done. 'This should be useful...' she thought to herself. Slowly she lavitated and hovered about a foot off the ground. 'Now's my chance!' Ryuka held up the triangle to her face so that Scythen could be seen in the very middle. Suddenly she pulled her hands apart and sent waves of nearly invisable psychic energy at Scythen. The blows never penetrated his barrier, but she didn't let up. Each wave was more powerful than the last. Black steam began rising from the shield.

Roxy walked around the courtyard, wondering who to pass out the flyers to first. "Come over to the Sunset Bar and Grill, where you can relax with your friends and just hang out!" She say two people fighting, and a dragon/guy watching from afar. She decided to try him.

"Here, would you like to come to the Sunset Bar and Grill? We've got great food and drinks!" She held out a flyer to him, and hoped he wouldn't freeze her...

She extended her hand out and the sword came back to ehr as it grew wider a bit of his blood on the sword but it vanished and was absorbed into her Sword as her eyes returned to its natural color. Oh No...

Yumi couldn't stand the power anymore as her aurora vanished as she turned into her regular form her pink hood appearing and teddy bear were back as she collapsed onto the ground, unconcious. Her body a little bit curled her eyes closed tight.

Looking away from the exiting fight he turned towards the girl standing next to him. She was holding out her hand with a flier pointed towards him in it. He smiled and accepted it making sure his claws did not pierce through the thin card. "Thank you," he said reasuringly. He smiled and made a thumbs up sighn which he had picked up from his human friends, "I'll be sure to check it out sometime."  

[Raine_Falls]

Cadence opened one of her ruby eyes as she felt the pulse of Scythen's heartbeat distance itself from her; why was he leaving? She sat up and grabbed her head in pain. The entire courtyard was spinning around Cadence; she found herself on an out of control carousel ride. Her eyes rolled around in her head dizzied by the past pace movement, causing her stomach to lurch. Without much notice Cadence vomited right onto the ground before her.

The vile substance formed a puddle infront of Cadence, but sunk into the earth rapidly. She coughed heavily, choking on the lack of oxygen for those few mere seconds. "I...h-hate...fighting.." she muttered sadly, wiping the vomit away from her lips using her silky, blue shirt. Her eyes welled up with tears once more as she stared at the ground, and felt the cold, salty water ripple down her cheeks and fall into the dirt.

Her attention was then drawn to Scythen whom was killing another. She choked on a sob and began crawling over to them weakly. "S-Stop..." Cadence whispered in utter disbelief. Using her abilities was very tiresome to Cadence because she rarely ever used them like the others here did; she was at a major disadvantage right now. However, Scythen was out of control...she had...to do something..

"Eeek!" Cadence squealed suddenly as she felt the ground beneath her grow cold. Her eyes grew wide with amazement and worry as she watched the ground freeze. Cadence hadn't noticed the dragon, but the fact that the ground was solid ice did get her thinking.

"What the-" She was cut short of her question when she felt her hands and feet being molded into the ground by the ice. Cadence hissed in fear and jumped into the air like a small cat would. Her claws extended a few inches as Cadence landed back of the sheet of blue ice; she felt her nails dig in and felt a sense of security. Cadence meowed quietly as she made her way over to the others; her claws working just to grab hold of the ice.
