More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

The three ducked around the building when they heard a car. At the sound of the man’s voice, Lia spoke. “H-hello?”
“Stop it you idiot, now he knows we’re here!” Jezebel growled as she hit her sister.
“OW!” Lia whined.

Jezebel stepped out from around the corner, her arms crossed over her chest as she pushed her gray hair over her shoulders. “Look, I don’t know who you are, but if you’re with that Robot forget it! I don’t know where Shane and Annie are headed. I don’t know their plans. I don’t know when they’ll be back, if ever. All I know is that they ditched us back at that safe house. And if your Deadalus then I only have this to say. ******** off!”

“Jeze!” Lia pouted as she came out from behind her sister.

“Stay behind me Lia. Don’t push me right now.”
“But Jeze… That’s Mr. Ray.” She whispered under her breath.
“You’re name dropping. Right now. Really?!” Jeze turned to the youngest.
“It’s just-” Lia flinched.
“Look. Either he’s with us, or against us. Those are the rules of the game!” She turned back to the man. “Now which one is it?”

Tansy smiled brightly as she nodded. "You can give me a hug." She laughed softly as she stood and embraced the woman before you. "You're so big. I'm sorry I missed so much." She whispered softly as she closed her eyes for a few seconds before pulling back. "Good luck. And thank you.. again."

Gidget's automatic response causes her to blush. That hug was nothing like the one in her mind, but it was still a good one. "Aw, no worries. You just go and be with Ako now, have fun and make lots of pretty babies. Take care Tansy."

Gidget takes her leave and heads directly to her workshop. She walks along her various suits and picks the one with Type 3 defenses. While it is true that she can't be affected by something that requires a brain to work, the same cannot be said for powers like Annie's or the girl from the day before. This suit comes equipped with a perpetual static generator. The static creates a stasis field around her that keeps Type 3 spores off of her. So far it has proven to be highly effective and hasn't failed yet.

She makes the soul shift, and steps out into the launch bay. She looks up as the platform is raised, and she takes off into the sky toward the sub district.

Ray had seen this sort of fire before, and it was equally as insufferable. These girls knew a lot of the people he knows, and may have been in Valhalla...interesting.

He raises his hands passively and calmly states, "I'm not with any of them. I dislike all of the people you mentioned with a passion. My name is Charles Ray, and I am a business associate of your mother's. You are Lilian Croutly's girls, right? You three resemble her very much...except for the hair I mean."

"But I digress, what are you doing in this part of the city? It isn't safe here."

"That's right!" Lia smiled.
"Don't you know. It's not safe anywhere for us anymore." Jeze scoffed.
"What she means is.. we're kind of in trouble. And a lot of it.. We helped Shane escape from his robot sister, and then he brought us to this safe house that didn't turn out as safe as he thought.. and now we're on the run..."
Jezebel turned to Lia. "You do know this is all your fault right? If you hadn't brought that stupid chuck of that meteor home we wouldn't even be here!"
"How was I supposed to know it would turn out like this?"
"Oh that's right, I forgot, you don't think! That's your problem."
"Stop." Kali growled.
"Sorry." Lia muttered. "It's been kind of a long day...."

Tansy's face flushed bright red. "I-I-you-wh-what?" She stumbled over her words before she forced herself to breath and calm down. She laughed softly to herself. "She didn't mean that." She sighed as she began to follow the lights on the floor. It was strange, walking down the hall. Everything was so quite. She would have to get use to that. What with her head being empty and all.

It didn't take her long at all to find the garage with Gigdet's helpful lighting system. She walked inside and peeked around. "Ako?" She asked brightly.

"That's right!" Lia smiled.
"Don't you know. It's not safe anywhere for us anymore." Jeze scoffed.
"What she means is.. we're kind of in trouble. And a lot of it.. We helped Shane escape from his robot sister, and then he brought us to this safe house that didn't turn out as safe as he thought.. and now we're on the run..."
Jezebel turned to Lia. "You do know this is all your fault right? If you hadn't brought that stupid chuck of that meteor home we wouldn't even be here!"
"How was I supposed to know it would turn out like this?"
"Oh that's right, I forgot, you don't think! That's your problem."
"Stop." Kali growled.
"Sorry." Lia muttered. "It's been kind of a long day...."

Charles' eyes widen in surprise, "You've come in contact with a meteor fragment. That means you're metahumans. Then this place is truly where you don't want to be right now. Please come with me, I'll take you to my home. Neither Daedalus or Agatha Morris will bother you there. My limo is just around the corner. You can get something to eat and have an assuredly safe place to stay for the night."

After leaving Deora, Ako made it to the garage without incident. As the door opened to the concrete expanse, he breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't open road or wide plains, but at least he wasn't stuck in a series of hallways. The solid thump his boots made with each step echoed off the walls, the only sound other than the hum of the fluorescent lights and the squeak of tires on another level as a car pulled out. Ako made his way to his bike, glancing at the cars around him as he walked. It didn't take long to find the only black motorcycle on the level.

Not long after he sat down and pulled out his tools, he felt as though something was watching him. He looked up, following his senses to the security camera. He could sense the electricity as it moved to focus on him, and went back to work as he realized it was probably just Gidget checking in on him. His attention didn't leave his bike again until he heard someone call his name. He nearly dropped his wrench when he realized who it was. "Over here, Tansy!" He called, waving a wrench in the air so she could spot him behind a car parked near his bike. He hoped he'd called the right name, thinking back to that moment in Gidget's office.

Tansy held her breath as she made her way over to him. She wondered how many times they had seen each other over the years... She needed to act cool. She walked over to him and smiled brightly. "Hey there stranger." She laughed softly as she stood just off to the side. "Working hard?"

The girls exchanged glanced with each other, before each shrugged in turn. Jezebel turned to the man and nodded. “Thank you.” She spoke softly. "That sounds.. nice." She frowned somewhat.

"Umm..." Lia paused as she looked up at the man for a moment. "Could you... not... contact our parents?" Her eyes pleading as she waited for his answer. "it's just... we... We don't want to get them involved.....
"It would look bad. I'm sure you can understand." Jezebel finished.

Ako felt his heart flutter a bit when she came into view. Before yesterday, it had been almost thirteen years since he'd last seen her. He couldn't help but smile as she did, but part of him was still wondering which version he was talking to. He still had the image of her and that Theonis kid together. When she laughed the Angel in his mental image laughed with Theonis. His smile faded a bit as he thought about it. When asked if he was working hard he looked to his bike.

Years on the road had left the paint scratched, the gas tank dented, and the handlebars scuffed. Even the engine hadn't escaped a ding or two. Currently Ako was working on the exhaust pipes, which had likely seen the worst the road had to offer. They were filled with the remnants of dents that had been straightened to the best of Ako's ability, but what they really need was replacement. He currently held one of the downpipes in his lap, and his fingers rested on a crack running down it's side. "I guess you could say that." He said. "One of the good things about a bike, though; there's not as much that can go wrong."

He paused for a second, thinking about what he was going to say next. He felt that he had to, and he hated it, but he had to know. "Which one am I talking to? Angel or Tansy?" He didn't look up to her as he asked, he couldn't bear to see if he caused the pain he knew that question should. Instead he kept looking to the crack in the pipe on his lap, but his eyes weren't focused on it.

"Oh..." Tansy paused, a blush creeping over her cheeks. "So you knew..." She sighed softly, she wondered how much he knew. If he though she was crazy. She couldn't blame him. She felt horrible suddenly, seeing him like that. She tried to smile. "Well, after spending... I don't even know how long.. but after Gidget got into my head, I'm proud to say that I am Tansy. And I'm here to stay. Angel is gone. And any power that Jordan Knightly had over me is gone to." She truly smiled. "I'm me. For the first time in.. years. I actually get to just be Tansy. No split persona. No mind control. Just me." She paused for a moment. "I... I hope that's okay..." She glanced to the floor.

"Look... I don't know what has happened the better part of these last few years... But if I-" She took a breath. "If I've done anything to hurt you. I'm sorry. That was never my intention. And I can understand if you don't want to be around me. Or have anything to do with me. But I wanted you to know that I'm truly sorry. If I was stronger, none of this would have happened. But I'm not. I'm only human. Despite the was I look. I have faluts and flaws like everyone else. And.. I'd really like it if you could look pass those... And just... see me as I am. And if you could accept me. I-" She let out a slow breath as she continued to look at the floor, a soft pink across her cheeks.

The girls exchanged glanced with each other, before each shrugged in turn. Jezebel turned to the man and nodded. “Thank you.” She spoke softly. "That sounds.. nice." She frowned somewhat.

"Umm..." Lia paused as she looked up at the man for a moment. "Could you... not... contact our parents?" Her eyes pleading as she waited for his answer. "it's just... we... We don't want to get them involved.....
"It would look bad. I'm sure you can understand." Jezebel finished.

So that's how it is. He would go along with them for the moment. But it would definitely pay to find out what their parents are doing. Whether or not they have been incarcerated by Daedalus could work to his advantage.

"You have my promise. I wont contact them unless you ask to. Please, follow me."

Ray walks back to the limousine, his driver already waiting by the door to open it. Ray waves the girls into the back of the limo and follows them closely behind. The driver begins to pull out of the sub district and towards Ray's condo. It would take a little time since Ray felt the need to distance himself from this dirt hole as possible when it came to living conditions.

"Are you girls thirsty? There are bottles of water in the cooler next to you."

" Don't touch me!" Erin yelled at her. and moved away from Lilith. At the same time she flung her hands up in front of her. Once she used her powers against another, her mind released her finally from that moment of fear. She caught her power at a moments notice and unfortunately, the smell of burning hair with the sound of something crackling could be heard. It took her a moment to understand what happened. She looked around and then finally at Lilith. Clasping her hands over her mouth she looked at Lilith. "Oh god.."

There was a soft clink and a ruffle of clothes as Ako set the pipe down and stood up. He crossed around his bike and wrapped his arm around her in a tight hug. he embraced her for a few seconds before standing back to look into her eyes. "Tansy, I've always accepted you. From the moment I met you you've been my angel. When I left you were never out of my mind. When I came back you were the first person I wanted to see. When I saw you with that Theonis kid, I was devastated, and I was angry, but not towards you. Gidget told me about your...condition. I was furious at that kid for taking advantage of it." He took a breath to clear the thought away. "I'm just glad you're okay."

Lillith took a step back as Erin yelled at her. She blinked rapidly and wrinkled her nose. "What.... What just happened?" she frowned as she looked around the apartment. "Erin? Are you okay?"
