I had not heard about it till now, but did a little research on it. Here's the articles I found.Artical one Artical 2
Summery, the film is in the works with Spielberg and Smith, but will not be a remake. They are looking at the original manga that the film was based off of. So, don't think of the movie remake, just the comics retold.
Also, update on the Wolverine leak. Fox News reporter has been fired for watching and reviewing it. Roger Friedman of foxnews.com's article fox411 was writing about how easy it is too watch new movies online and used Wolverine as an example. Fox news is in no way connected to 20th Century Fox, but he was fired just the same for, "promotion of piracy". All I can say about this is oops. Fox News Fires Reporter
Also, Van Diesel said in an interview that he would like to play the "Sub-Mariner" in an upcoming marvel movie. As much as I like Van, I'm not sure he could pull off the Sub-Mariner. I could see him in other Mavel Movie roles, such as some from the New Warriors, but would more fit the Luke Cage character. The thing is, Van said he wants too play a villein. I'm not sure how this would come off. Van Diesel talks Super roles
For vince, when he actually signs in and reads this, some WWE news. As I'm typing this, I'm watching Wreaslemania 25, yes I ordered the Pay Per View. First, during the Kid Rock performance, he was singing Ba da ba (not sure how to spell it), and he pointed his mic up so the audiance could sing the part (get in the pit and love someone), and not a noise in the house. Just a few minutes earlier you could hear them yelling duiring the "Money in the Bank" match "holy s**t" when someone jumped off the top of a 20 foot ladder. The major news coming before this event thou was that the color commentator "Tazz" (Original ECW Star) quite this week claiming he was "burnt out". I would not doubt that since they put on four to five shows a week in four or five city's. And also, it happened again. Singing "So Hot", he held the microphone up too let the audience sing and not a sound in the house. HAHA, thats funny.

They tried to hide what he OD'ed on, but reveiled that he had a major cocaine habit before he died. They said he was seeking help, even going into rehab. But I think that's what they said killed Eddie. Vince would know better then me.
As for Test, WWE put a note on their web page acnolling it, but then plainly said "He has not worked for the company for a year", shielding themselves from any blame. The reason they fired him in 2007 was because of he looked as if he was on stariods. This was just after the Benoit's death. TNA refused to hire him afterward for the same reason.
As for now days in the WWE, they have a new system in place. They test everyone every three months. If their cought with anything, their punished and the names made public. 1st strick 30 day without pay, 2nd strick 60 days without pay, 3rd strike is being fired. Several stars have been punished because of this including; Jeff Hardy, Ken Kennedy, William Regal, Randy Orton, and other big name stars. As for John Cena, as far as I know, he has always been clean. He goes throe a rough workout every day to stay in the shape he's in. Same goes for Dave Batista.
And for the Game of Thorne show, I want to read the book before it airs on tv. I know that is going to be a mistake, as it was with Eragon, but oh well.
Also, one of my favorite book series is being made into a show. wotmania.com Universal Pictures acquired the movie rights to The Wheel of Time in August 2008, and currently plan to adapt The Eye of the World as the first movie.

Don't know if your thinking about Orton or not, but he has been caught on stariods at least once. He was the champ at the time, so he wasn't taken off tv, but he did go 30 days without pay. Here's his picture.

As for the Wheel of Time, it's rather long to explain. Within the 11 books that are currently out (The 12th and final book is being split into three books to be released in over the next two years), there must be 50 storylines ongoing. In simple summery of the series, it's about three young boys. One, a Shepard finds out that he is a legendary hero reincarnated. The prophesy surrounding his life says he will save the world from the "Dark One" and break it in the process, so he builds an army to conquer the world even thou he really doesn't want it. Two, a black smith who finds trouble with two women in love with him (One the daughter of a general and niece of a king (the Owl) and the other a head of a small nation (the hawk). You'll have to read the series to understand the animal reverence.) and he can also talk with wolfs via his mind (and they do talk back). The third is a simple guy who wants nothing more then to gamble and have flings with girls, but has the knowledge of a thousand generals (his previous lives) that makes him the worlds best general.
The series is by (the late, great) Robert Jordan. The 12th book is being written by Brandon Sanderson. It has a bit of everything for everyone. Fantasy, romance, a bot of scifi (but not in the traditional sense), action, suspense, horror, and even a murder mystery that only one person had manage to solve (people would make guesses to RJ at convictions and when they were wrong he said "read the books and find out") since book 5 was published in 1993. For more info on the series, go to the fansites wotmania.com and dragonmount.com.
Also, I was reading sreenrant and came across and artical called "Harper’s Island: Interesting Concept, But Will It Work?". Haper's Island is a new mystery show from the creator of ABC's Jericho. It's about 25 people who are invited to an island for a wedding, but among them is a serial killer. The tag line is “Harper’s Island: 13 Weeks. 25 Suspects. 1 Killer.” It sounds and looks good.

Yeah, it sounds like they are ripping you off.
As for the Wheel of Time, one of the main reasons I loved it so much was the fact that it was so realistic in everything, even the battle scenes. RJ took his time in the Vietnam War and out it into the books. Even the love triangle scenes he said came from his real life experiences. Stuff like that made the series so much better.
Some movie news going around, a couple of writers/producers confermed that a Spiderman spin off is in the works. Venom is being written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are pushing Sony for the spin off. Their current show coming out is Zombieland starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin. Their also working on a movie called Earth vs Moon. Here's what they say about it:
Quote: "It's a science-fiction epic war movie ala, I don't know, 'Braveheart.' It's sort of got a little 'Star Wars' in it, a little 'Braveheart,' a little '300' in it. It's like it's sort of exactly what the title suggests. It's big and crazy and it's gonna be awesome. It's a colony on the moon, and the colony on the moon is fighting Earth. We're very, very excited about it. We've also turned in a draft on that and are waiting to hear back, so we're in early stages on each of those."
Just thought I's share.

Well, the Thundercats movie should be out some time around 2010, but that's all I know. The Zelda movie started out as an April Fools joke a year or two back. They even went so far as to make their own trailer out of it. But the fan base got all excited and actually lit a fire in Hollywood. Some company, not sure which one, bought the movie rights to it. That was the last I heard about it.
Also, since we were talking about it, they just reveled what Andre "Test" Martin died of. Here's the story:
SEScoops.com According to The Sun out of the UK, former WWE wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin died after overdosing on the painkiller known as "Hillbilly heroin." The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner out of Tampa announced his cause of death as Oxycodone intoxication as a result of an accidental overdose. Oxycodone is an addictive ingredient found in the painkillers OxyContin, Percoset and Percoden. Martin was found dead in his Tampa apartment just four days shy of his 34th birthday on March 14, 2009 after a neighbor reported that he had appeared motionless for several hours. The pill, dubbed "Hillbilly heroin," was also linked to the death of fellow wrestler "Sensational" Sherri Martel, not to mention Oscar-winning actor Heath Ledger.
