OOOO! Alien can make balloon animals! Or at least she learned how to a while ago. I haven't tried recently, but I'd assume it's like riding a bike. Or not at all...

We should have more people in the guild who participate. We only have a few regulars like Yellie and M!lk and Sn0wlet and Childishwishes... I don't know anyone else, seeing as they don't post. It takes a day or two to recieve another post on your thread here. I was going through the memberlist, and I couldn't believe it. A lot of people only have one or two posts. Some even have none. That isn't right. Why join a guild if your not going to post? Just to be able to say, 'I'm a member of the --- guild, and you're not! Ha ha!' What did you even do to earn that right? And why waste 100 gold, if you're not even going to get anything from it? And why join right after you create an account, just to be 'cool'? You're still a n00b. I'm kind of sick seeing naked avatars in the guild forums. It's like they don't care.

You have money. Use it.

This guild isn't for:

Begging.
Showing off the fact that you're a n00b.
Joining then all of a sudden deciding to quit.
Showing off the fact that you're a complete poser.

This guild is, however, for discussing Green Day. It's for true, blue Green Day fans who love them not only for their music, but for who they are and what they do. This guild isn't for telling everyone else that you're better than them, or that you are the biggest fan of Green Day in the world.

You should respect the people in this guild. Don't take it for granted that you can join at will. Don't take it for granted that you are a member of a guild dedicated to one of the biggest bands in the world.

But most of all, don't join just to say "Green Day rocks. ---- sucks." Because that is just stupid. If you do only have one post, make sure it's not that.

That's wasting your priviledge to be in a guild as organized and cool as this one.

I hope I make you think.

there are plenty of regulars around dear. just because some people are in their 400's or 500's for that matter doesn't mean that they are the only regulars. it just means you aren't as much of a guild whore. { like me whee }
take haruko tomoe, or zodokai they've got only so many posts here but they do one hell of a job here by keeping the guild in order.you don't see them slacking, and knight reaver along with ibun look around and lock threads if not correct people of their own actions. but that doesn't mean that they aren't regulars or just shouldn't be here or anything to that extent.

and if they anyone got accepted. it was for a reason. it's their choice to post or not. you don't have to. some people do. and some people don't. they might not have time they might be under certain circumstances and can't use the computer or they ditched gaia or something. don't be so quick to judge what you don't know. but they won't be banned for that.
at least.. not that i know of.

we already know what the guild isn't for. seeing as how there is a welcome sticky and rules in the main page.
some people don't know. because they overlook them.
they don't bother. or... they're just ignorant.

technically people have good intentions in posting something but end up posting something that sounds totally wrong. and i can say i've posted things that i don't evn know if made sense to myself or not.
but in other cases the people are just.. jackasses.
however, i haven't seen TOO much of that.
people here a respected. i hardly see anyone be disrespected of be victim of an act of prejudice. maybe people get into arguments but that's only natural to debate out of one's opinion.
people don't just join at will. that's why you have to have a reason to join and the awesome moderators working here look at is and give people a chance or they turn them down. otherwise we'd have a whole mass of stupid people here and there would be a HELL of a lot more spam.

some people don't know what to say. wether it's right or not. it may be a little annyoing but they are new. and as new people they overlook things and don't follow rules. and that's their own fault but most people here are kind enough to lead them the right direction.

Just because we're thread whore's doesn't mean we're regulars, though. I know for a fact that the mods check posts, keep everything in order, and lock un-nessessary threads. Just because they don't post, doesn't mean they aren't regulars. They may have other places they need to be, I know I'm such a guild whore because I have unlimited time on le internet (Thank you free broadband for 3 months!!^___^) so I just post everywhere. Others may have limited time on the internet, and they may have quests to bump, or other places to be.
I understand where you're coming from, because just two months ago I posted something about how so many people don't post here, but it's their choice. Don't worry about if someone doesn't post, it does get a bit annoying when the guild is left a bit inactive, but I think it's fun. I like it when you have to wait a while to get a response. I don't know why, though...
People join for a reason. They may not post an awful lot (I myself have joined a few guilds, or have been invited to them; only to give up posting in them after a few hours. This guild, and the bipolar guild, are the only ones I post in. <3) but I'm sure they like the fact that they can say "I got accepted into the Green Day guild!".
They get accepted for a reason too. I don't know when you joined, so I'm not sure oif you saw "The hall of Shame" (It's either been deleted or un-stickified, I'm not sure which), but for a time that showed some of the worst "trying to get into the guild" posts. I don't know what they're called, but it the notes you write when you're trying to get into the guild. Anyway, from looking at them, it seems that Haruko accepts people she thinks are "worthy" or good enough to be in the guild. Wait, that sounded wrong... Oh never mind, but people are accepted because they seem like Green Day fans.
What's wrong with naked avatars, though? Just because they chose to not wear clothes doesn't mean that they're n00bs. Some people prefer naked avatars. Some of the greatest Gaians I know are basically naked. (Look at Irate Camel for instande. ^^)
I, for one, don't think I'm a regular, I'm a just a post/guild whore. I think of regulars, and I think of all the people who I never see here anymore. Like Broken Image, Ukotai, Samira, and for a while Knight Reaver. But he's back now. ^__^ I admit there are less people posting here, but that may be because people are being a tad hostile. I'm not naming anyone (*ahem*me*ahem*, but we are. Which then leads to the fact that we're being predjucided (sp) to the new Green Day fans. And some people may have quit the guild because of that reason, or because they just didn't like it. They may have just stopped posting because of the latter reason too.

I understand where you're coming from though, as I thought like that for a while. But, just, don't let what the other people do make you rethink stuff about the guild. Recently there has been a few people who have gone against the rules, but overall, this guild is one of the best run guilds I've ever been to. The meaningless threads are deleted instantly, and even then they are very few of those. I think Haruko, Zodakai, Knight and Ibun are doing a very spiffy job of managing this guild, but just because you don't see them doesn't mean they're not there.

Those two basically said it. I used to come on mulitiple times every day and post in every thread, but recently I've had so many other things to do that I'm just not on as much as I used to be. Also, a lot people post a lot in the thread instead of in here. Some people leave for a while and then come back. If someone doesn't post often, it doesn't mean they aren't there.

And the naked avatars thing isn't fair. Some people can't afford nice clothes (I know I couldn't when I first joined this guild), and some people just like being naked. It's not fair to get upset about that, as that isn't what Gaia is about.

people aren't going to have to wear clothes just because you want them too, i didn't use my peasant dress when i first got it. i didn't want to.
i go on quite late. and i post. i don't care. but i have also places to bump and people to talk to before so, i come onto the guild a bit late sometimes.

you've got your opinions as we have our own.don't quit just because of this. that's a stupid reason. it's almost like saying since you posted this here. me and yellie are gonna quit because of it.
it's your choice anyway, but keep in mind that just because the guild doesn't meet you in the way you want it doesn't mean that people don't go on and you should quit.
