More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"What the..." He said to himself as he saw Trinity already on the ground. Then he switched to where she used to be only to find her coat.

"You cheating.....that's it...you are so going to get it when I get down." Theonis said as he was going to punish for cheating. Well punishing wasn't the right word for it.

As he fell the speed of his descent slowed down. Still it was pretty obvious that he intended to land on her to pin her down.

Gidget places her hands on her hips and says, "Now hold on, let me try before you sell me short. You think that people have lost their belief in God, and thus have strayed from his designated plan. So you are going to bring about some sort of pseudo-apocalypse of your own design so that everyone starts praying en mass."

She puts her finger to her chin to signify that she is thinking then she says, "I get it, you saw the movie Constantine and stole it's plot. Man, talk about a cookie cutter bad guy."

He laughed manically and turned to face her again. He pointed a finger to her, the hand that held the rosary"EER! Wrong." he flung his arms outward and spun slowly as he spoke. "Just because I've looked to this God for myself, does not mean he in return is the reason for me doing this to the people!" He stopped to look at her again. His eyes filled with something twisted and insane. He truly had cracked. ."The evil has not seen evil before! The good doesn't know what it means to be good! Black, White, Grey, Left and right, and Neutral! However you look at it The sides know nothing!! People know NOTHING! " He ran and jumped the stairs leading to the alter to come closer to her. He walked slowly to her with a crooked smile. "Do you know fear girl? Are you Human enough to know it?!" He said this through the grip of his teeth.

He stopped close to her, his breaths heavy. Looking her over, he stepped back and and ran his fingers through his short hair." I first did this as a punishment to those who did wrong... I judged them because they thought they could get away with anything in the seats they held. Hiding behind religion! Hiding behind power... People hide from the most stupid ideas and they become fear..." He trailed off and stayed silent while gazing off into nothing.

"I know fear Jordan, I just can't feel it anymore. I've been forced to face it from someone with similar powers to yours."

She takes one step closer to him. Bringing him within arms reach. The static field around her emits a quiet hum. "You speak of people who abuse their power. What about you? You hide behind the guise of a holy man, someone who dedicates their lives to guiding people to an answer, only to torment them and trap them within their own nightmares."

"You're not some kind of messiah, you're just a nut job with a God complex. I'm going to give you one last chance to stop what you're planning, or I'll be forced to take lethal measures." She starts the warm-up procedures on her weapons, her HUD displaying which ones are ready to fire.

He gave a soft chuckle at her. " I feed off of the fear girl. And this form is who I am... Who I wanted to be before that stupid meteorite. Just because I keep this form, doesn't mean I am what it is..." He turned his head and glanced at her from the side. " Do you see me wearing the full Cassock my dear? Just because I have chosen to wear the black attire does not mean I am by any means a priest or a holy man. I find it soothing and comfortable to who I am." He turned fully to face her his eyes dead serious. "Besides, I use my powers as how they were meant to. To see and to touch that fear people have." He smirked softly " And you... stopping me, would be of great entertainment." He tossed her his rosary and gave a single wave. "Till me we again my dear." With that he stepped back and faded.

The rosary hits her in the chest plate, and she allows it to fall to the ground. Gidget attempts to regain his signal, tracing the flow of energy that allows for teleportation. She is puzzled to see that the flow nearly disappeared as quickly as it came, making it nearly impossible to track. She would need to make a new suit that could compensate for this phenomenon. In the meantime, she was going to rile him up. He was laughing at her, taking her lightly, and now she was going to take something from him. He didn't seem to like what she did to his church. If she had lips, she would be smirking.

Casually she looks around the building and looks for critical support beams using her X-Ray spectrum. A compartment in her right thigh opens up, and a small rack slides out. The rack contains almost a dozen small disks. She takes out the disks and strolls through the hall, punching holes in the walls and attaching the disks to the supports. A humming sound starts to emanate from her speakers. It sounds like a person humming, and she is humming to the tune of "Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads.

She takes one last scan around the church, to ensure that no one innocent will be hurt, and takes to the skies once more. She looks down upon the church and says, "TNT, I'm a power load. TNT, watch me explode." She detonates the charges with those lyrics, and the church lights up from the inside, the explosives destroying the beams and causing it to collapse on itself.

There would have been a time where this bothered Gidget, but she finds it hard to care now. She figures that this place isn't his home, or probably even his HQ. But he seemed miffed when she put a hole in the ceiling. She hopes this causes his veins to pump with venom.

She powers down her weapons and take another moment to regard the destruction she had just caused. Then she activates her stealth cloak, and flies back toward Valhalla.

Jordan found himself in a basement and he pounded his fists hard against the one of the basement walls. He yelled and slapped his hands on the table under the one light. He had made his knuckles bleed on that hand and there were bits of concrete embedded in the skin now. He closed his eyes and rolled his head on his shoulders. He couldn't go back to that church now... or the area. Pulling the chair to him he sat and muddled over that machine... that girl, cyborg, whatever it was. Jordan didn't know what it was or cared. He couldn't sense anything from it.


Amelia giggled as she walked a ahead of her grandfather. She danced in a field of lush grass and did cartwheels. The butterflies followed her and landed on her as she stood still. She sighed happily and looked back at her grandfather. They were coming home from shopping, and like he had promised, she had gotten a new sketch pad.

Richard grumbled and sighed as he walked behind his granddaughter. He hated it when she used her power outside of her room, but since there was hardly anyone around, he thought maybe it would be alright once in a while. "Don't make it so big Amelia" he griped at her with a sigh. He pulled along the roller basket that carried the goods for the month. He knew she wasn't listening to him and that irked him a little.' The girl is getting more and more like her father as she grows. head in the clouds... I'm to old for this.' He though to himself.

"I did." Lillith sighed softly. "She was crushed under the first meteorite. I was only 14 and on my own. I guess that's when things really started going down hill for me." She shrugged somewhat, not really wanting to talk about it. "And as far as my hair goes, you're lucky it'll grow back. But I spent a long time taking care of my hair to get it the way it was." She pouted softly, then sighed again. "Want to come with me to get it cut?"

Justine paused for a moment. The sound from her eyes seemed.. slightly different. She had been walking around in complete darkness in the room Gigdet had given to to stay in for the time being, eyes open, and now suddenly... everything seemed... She dropped the glass of water to held and it shattered on the floor. She winced softly at the sound and looked down. She could just make out the outlines of the pieces of glass. She laughed brightly as she bent over and picked them up one by one without hassle. She tossed them away and looked towards the light switch. "Now for the real test." She smiled as she walked over and flipped it up.

She blushed softly and glanced to the floor before she looked back up at him. "Sooo." She clasped her hands behind her and looked around the garage. "Can I help you with anything? Or should I leave yo alone to get some work done?"

Trinity saw Theonis' shadow starting to form. She focused on it making it a hole. Her shoulder felt something, she looked up and got pinned to the ground. There were many ways she could have gotten out of this. She could have dropped through her shadow. She could have used the momentum to flip him over. But she didn't, a different power was at work here and it wasn't Theonis'. He may have been about to scold her but interrupted with a kiss.

Second time that she had surprised him. He had originally intended to tease her by saying stuff like 'And just how are you going to make up for cheating?'
But he couldn't say that anymore because she had just done what he was aiming for with his question. A question he couldn't ask. He really did meet his match and was really falling for her now.

Theonis wanted her. Perhaps it was the combination of the adrenaline and lust.

"You really are something huh?" He said as he interrupted the kiss for a moment.

Trinity smiled, "Stick around, there's a lot more where that came from." She continued the series of kisses until her body started to remind her of the pain she endured. Again she wished Theonis didn't see but there seemed to be no way to avoid it. She pulled back and winced in pain.

Meanwhile long after the troops left the silence was replaced with half of the healing team and were going back to the medical facility, the other half were heading to the safe house where the last fight was. Through the window they noticed there were a couple of patients in the waiting room. But the door was stuck they started to try to force themselves in. One of them turned Deora, "Excuse me Miss do you know what happened here?"

Ako became a bit embarrassed as Tansy looked around the garage. This hadn't exactly turned out to be the fairy tale meeting he'd imagined. He thought about offering to take her for a ride, but the bike was out of commission, and he doubted she'd want to ride anyway. He could offer to take her on a date, but that seemed rather mundane compared to their average day. There wasn't any way she could really help him on the bike other than keep him company, but he didn't want to leave or have her leave yet.

"I'd hate to make you wait on me, I can finish this later." He said, motioning towards the bike. "Let's go where you want."

"Oh I will."

It was nice while it lasted. He knew they had to stop because Trinity would be in pain again. But it was too late. She already was in pain. He. himself was also starting to feel the pain again. Only his came from his ribs. Theonis gave her one final kiss.

Again he picked her up and carried her in his arms.

"Ain't far now Trin. Save your energy." Theonis said to Trinity knowing that she could use her shadow travel to get there faster but he didn't know if she could use that as easily as before. With that Theonis flew off towards Valhalla. Good thing they were close by.

Trinity saw over his shoulder her coat finally landed she placed her hand on his chest connecting to the shadow. She focused on it, it got sucked down violently into its shadow.

Finding herself in his arms again she wanted to stand on her own. She normally would get out of it and tough it out. Yet, she didn't she knew he was right. She'd be more useful if she let her ki energy restore. With that in mind her eyes closed and rested for a while. Wind tossed her purple hair around as they quickly approached Valhalla.

Deora didn't show much interest in the passing personnel until one of them spoke to her. "All I know is that the guy in there freaked out from too much noise or something, and Kerana, the girl with the ears and tail, tried to help him by bringing him in there. I followed, but There's something weird about that guy, and I couldn't stay in there. When I left he freaked out again and slammed the door." She looked through the glass to see if everything was okay. "I don't know if he's violent or not, but I definitely don't think he's mentally stable."

Tansy laughed nervously as she opened her mouth to speak, but nothing came out. She laughed again as she glanced around quickly. What did she want to do? She had been in darkness Jordan had created for her for so long now. She wanted to go outside and feel the fresh air. But that would be there no matter what. "Really...." She paused as she blushed once more and glanced to her bare feet. "I just want to be with you." She looked back up, her eyes locking on his as she watched and waited for a reaction. She had never been that brave, but she felt that now she needed to be.
