More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

[Nova Blancke]

Theonis reached Valhalla relatively fast.

"Never once gotten in a fight in my entire life. I meet you and got in two life or death situations. This happen often to you?" Theonis asked her as he became aware of this fact.

When he entered he noticed some concerned faces of the residents and of a few guards. He could relate to that. After all it's not every day that you see the head of security being carried, no scratch that, allowed herself to be carried to the infirmary.

"Honey, we're home." Theonis said jokingly when they came close to the infirmary since it was probably too early to start calling her that. In public anyway. However he found something that he did not expect. There was a bit of commotion since the door was apparently shut tight.

So that's how it is. He would go along with them for the moment. But it would definitely pay to find out what their parents are doing. Whether or not they have been incarcerated by Daedalus could work to his advantage.

"You have my promise. I wont contact them unless you ask to. Please, follow me."

Ray walks back to the limousine, his driver already waiting by the door to open it. Ray waves the girls into the back of the limo and follows them closely behind. The driver begins to pull out of the sub district and towards Ray's condo. It would take a little time since Ray felt the need to distance himself from this dirt hole as possible when it came to living conditions.

"Are you girls thirsty? There are bottles of water in the cooler next to you."

Lia looked to Jeze, who gave the slightest of nods, before Lia opened the cooler and pulled out three bottles. Each of the sister's open theirs and took a drink.

Jeze paused for a moment before she looked up at the man. "I hope you don't mind me asking... but what were you doing in the sub-district?" She sat tall, her shoulders back. She wanted to trust the man, but they hadn't had a whole lot of luck lately. She nearly laughed at that. Maybe she needed better control on her powers.  

[Natsa]

His fingertips gripped his head, their nails scraping into his scalp as he shut his eyes. "Ah...hate..hate..hate..hate..!" The man snarled out as he remained in the sitting position. Several fingertips gripped along the eyepatch, the trembling hands just wanting to shred the cloth off. Burned..! It burned like hell itself. Violently the twenty her old yanked the eyepatch off to reveal a pitch black eye with a yellow iris, scars aligned his skin. The patch had proved affective, he had gone officially blind in the eye he had kept hidden from the world. Closing the dead eye he pushed himself up, the whole chaotic vibe around him had slightly subsided. The burning sensation along his dead eye gone. "..." However, there was a different look that aligned along his face, it was not insantiy, it was not madness. Even he himself could not determin his emotions. "Apollo. We're going to move again." It was as if the boy was in a trance, not himself, the voice itself was distant..his own little world with just him and Apollo, nobody else mattered.

Trinity half awake, answered his question, "I'm afraid so..." then closed her eyes. She looked annoyed when she heard him called her 'honey' indeed it was a bit too soon for pet names. Then again she wasn't sure of pet names as a whole. They are always too sweet and dainty sounding, not her style.

She heard the commotion her eyes open, "What's going on?"

"From what I can tell the door won't open. Doubt it's a technical." Theonis said as he was trying to puzzle together what happened. But there wasn't enough information for him to go on.

"I'll go ask. Gotta put you down first though. If you don't mind that is." He said as he looked at her. But he didn't wait for an answer. Both of them were injured and needed some help. Now he didn't mind holding Trinity like that but it was getting pretty damn hard for him to not think about his ribs. He put her down gently and asked one of the people there what was going on.

"Not at all." she responded she was going to ask him to do anyway. Slowly she got back up and held her side. She looked around and saw that she was surrounded by healers no offense. She looked toward the window and saw a tuft of red hair with a couple of ears slopped down in the back corner of the room. "Kerana...geez you're having some crummy luck lately."
She cupped her free hand and covered her mouth and spoke, no muffled sound came out. Her voice was heard in the darkness of Kerana's ears, "Quite a mess you got into foxy... What's the sitch?"  

[Natsa]

It was not like he intended to make anyone fearful of him, no if anything he wanted to keep his unstabled side to himself. Usually everything was fine if Apollo was around, was it..was it because the boy was passed out that he was no use? "..." The dead eye remained hidden by the scarred eyelid, "...Apollo--" When that vaguely familiar voice hit the adult he found his gaze slowly but surely investigating who had made that noise. Picking up a table he moved it in her direction, as if something was holding him off he placed the table facing outwards, blocking her from his view and vice versa. "Apollo, wake up. We can't stay here." His single eye had glazed over, ah...see what he saw wasn't the clinic...but a whole different atmosphere from two years ago. And he had seen Kerana as a creature too close for comfort, her prying eyes too much for the man to bear. After all, he was kidnapping his brother from his parents right? What he had placed over her? A trash can, he dreaded the thought of taking anothers life..unless it was his fathers.

Trinity needed to act and she needed to make sure Kerana and Apollo were out of there. Unfortunately she had enough power to save one of them right now. It had to be Kerana, it would only make matters worse if she took Apollo. On top of that now that Kerana is behind a table it may be a good chance she could use it to her advantage.

She may have a little time to get herself heald before going in. Trinity tapped one of the shoulders of the healers and asked to be healed partially. There wasn't enough time for a full heal but it was enough to relieve the pain on her side and be able to move quickly if she needed to. Time to put her plan in action. She dropped into her shadow took Kerana and placed her out of the waiting room in dark area that happened to be near Deora. Trinity took the fox girl's place waiting for the right moment to make her move.

Ray answers simply, "There is someone, or something, in there that...unsettles me. I go through there every now and again to see what it is. I don't like to feel uncomfortable or out of control. I think you can empathize with that?"

Jeze nodded. "I can understand that." She sighed softly as she looked around the limo. "So..." She started softly. "Not that we're not grateful, but what is this going to cost us?" Jezebel crossed her arms over her chest as she watched him, unsure if they should put their trust in this man. She had heard their parents mention his name, as well as hearing about him in the news from time to time, and he didn't seem the kind to just stop and help them without a reason. And she doubted that just because they were the daughters of an associate.

"She means... Ummm... She means..." Lia looked panicked as she tried to cover for her sister as she always did, but this time, she couldn't think of anything to say to make this sound better. She tired to smile brightly at the man, hoping to ease his possible anger.

Ray runs his finger along the door handle and smiles. "Right to the point, just like your mother. Indeed, just as obnoxious. However, you have every right to be cautious after the ordeal you girls have been through. First you are "invited" to Valhalla by Ms. Agatha Morris. Then you are duped into assisting Shane Morris escape from said facility. He drops you off at a metahuman safe house, only to have it be attacked by the very people that he had been trying to shield you from."

"But as for what it is going to cost you, Jezebel, all I want is some insight."

"You are wondering how it is I know your name without you telling me? Suffice to say, you are not the only person who has been in contact with a meteor fragment."  

[Tatsoi]

"Then you'll know that I'm not really up for playing your games either." Jezebel snapped somewhat, her eyes narrowing somewhat. Lia on the other hand, gasped softly. Jeze frowned. "I had a feeling you were going to say something like that. The moment I saw you round that corner I already knew you had certain gifts." She shrugged somewhat. "What I really want to know is how you know what's happened over the last two days? Have you been watching us? Or were you lying about your connections with the Machine?"

Ray laughs aloud. "Oh no my dear, nothing as intricate as all that. My power allows me to look into the deepest reaches of someones soul and see what frightens them the most. You three have come close to realizing your deepest fears in the last two days on multiple occasions. Loss of freedom, death...but most of all the idea of being permanently separated from one another."

"Fear and memory go hand in hand, so I simply caught a glimpse of what you have experienced as well as what your worst fears."

"But don't fret, I have no desire to torment you three in anyway shape or form. You see, we have a common enemy. These scars on my face were caused by the machine many years ago, and I haven't forgotten. What I would like to know is how you managed to get by her, and her little shadow dog, and escape Valhalla?"  

[Tatsoi]

"Fear and memory goes hand in hand, huh?" She smirked slightly, unsure if he saw the humor in his choice of words. She sighed softly. "As for how we escaped... It was Shane's plan that got us through, but Lia was the one to subdue the machine."

Lia sat up and blinked. "I... I did?" She asked softly as she thought about it for a moment. "Hmm. I don't remember doing that.. Actually.. I don't remember how we got out of there at all." She tilted her head to the side, and then shot a glance at Jeze.

The eldest sighed once again. "Don't go there Lia. You don't want to know."
