More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Didn't take long for Theonis to find out what was going on. He had lost sight of Trinity however. This time it didn't worry him since they were back in Valhalla and this was her home. Plus it was her job to do something about this. Still he had hoped that she had recovered even a bit before doing anything. But right now all he could do was wait. And since there were a few healers around, why not get himself healed up? God knew he needed. So he did. He had spoken to a few healers and they began to do their job. And boy did it feel good.

Tatsoi

"Fear and memory goes hand in hand, huh?" She smirked slightly, unsure if he saw the humor in his choice of words. She sighed softly. "As for how we escaped... It was Shane's plan that got us through, but Lia was the one to subdue the machine."

Lia sat up and blinked. "I... I did?" She asked softly as she thought about it for a moment. "Hmm. I don't remember doing that.. Actually.. I don't remember how we got out of there at all." She tilted her head to the side, and then shot a glance at Jeze.

The eldest sighed once again. "Don't go there Lia. You don't want to know."

Ray grinned from ear to ear. He says to Lia, "That is most interesting. So that means that your power to weaken metahuman abilities nearly loosened her soul from the machine. You see one of her powers, aside from being incredibly intelligent and able to construct machines at an impossible rate, is her ability to move her soul from one machine to another. Oh...that must've frightened her to no end. Which is a wonder of itself, since machines are incapable of feeling emotion."

"You mentioned Annabella Soulsmith a moment ago. What part does she play in all of this?"

He tried not to show it, but Ako's heart fluttered when Tansy's eyes locked on to his, her blush making it beat faster, and it felt like it would give out when she gave her answer. He knew someone his age shouldn't be affected like this, but she reminded him of the time when they'd first met, and the time he helped her fly.

While his body hadn't aged much over the years, his mind had aged everyday of it. He felt his years, but Tansy made them seem to vanish in a fuzz of static. It made it hard to think, he couldn't come up with anything to say. On impulse, he stepped closer, placing his right hand on her cheek. His palm was rough, but he kept his touch soft. He gave her a kiss on the lips, short but passionate, before pulling back to say; "I'm glad."

"I did what?" Lia frowned somewhat as she looked from Ray to her sister.
"Drop. It." Jeze shot back, her voice deadly. She turned back to the man. "She showed up right after we escaped. She deiced to come with us. Last I knew they were heading off to Deadalus HQ." She Shrugged it off as if it was nothing.

"How do you know all these people?" Lia asked, her eyes wide as she leaned forwards, suddenly very interested.

"I'll be blunt. In the perspective of the general populous, I'm not a very nice man behind closed doors. In fact, the word evil has been passed around here and there. What they call evil, I call ambition."

"So Ms. Soulsmith and Mr. Morris are off to storm Daedalus HQ. Good on them, I hope they burn the place to the ground and kill themselves in the process. Well, not Shane so much. His is a mind that would go to waste if he were to perish. Ah, we've arrived."

The limo pulls into an underground parking garage and stops in front of an elevator. The driver steps out and opens the door. Charles motions toward the door, inviting the sisters to step out first.

Tansy's face flushed as Ako pulled away from her. "Me too." Her wings fluttered as her tongue darted out to lick her lips. "I'm... Kind of hungry." She laughed softly. "I've kind of been stuck in my head all day with Gigdet..." She looked around as she bit onto her bottom lip. "Would you like to come with me and catch up on stuff?'

Jeze nearly smiled. She nodded towards him as she slipped out of the limo, and in turn Kali and Lia followed her. She wasn't sure what the other two were thinking, which was odd, but it didn't bother her. She was caught up in a few things of her own. "Again, thank you."

Ako smiled and brought his hand back as she blushed, his eyes flashing to her wings as they fluttered. "That sounds like a good plan." He said.

She smiled at him somewhat. "Good." She tilted her head to the side as she reached out her hand for his. She wasn't sure what there was to eat, or even where in this place, but she really couldn't care. As long as Ako was with her, she felt she was on top of the world.

He still felt a bit of a rush as he took her hand. "I think I saw a cafeteria in this place somewhere. It may not be the most romantic place, but maybe we can find a secluded booth. Would that be alright?" He asked. He wanted the best for her, and wished there was a better place than the cafeteria. He should have gotten the bike fixed sooner, then he could have taken her to a fine restaurant with what little money he had. He should have gone out to get food to cook a meal himself, if he knew how to cook anything well. He could have at least gotten her some shoes so she wouldn't have to walk around barefoot, if only he'd known that she needed them, or her size. So much he could have done for her, but couldn't. He wanted to change that, but knew he couldn't. He'd never been able to stop thinking that way, always thinking he was to blame. Why did he have to be so negative? Tansy was here with him now. Everything was okay again. He would do anything to keep it that way.

Jeze nearly smiled. She nodded towards him as she slipped out of the limo, and in turn Kali and Lia followed her. She wasn't sure what the other two were thinking, which was odd, but it didn't bother her. She was caught up in a few things of her own. "Again, thank you."

Ray steps out of the limo and calls the elevator down. "No thanks necessary."

The door opens and Ray steps inside. Once everyone is in he places his hands on a digital reader in order to authorize their accent. The elevator hums to life and they start to rise.

Ray looks again amongst his young guests. The youngest, Lia, could find people. Without a doubt she had the most important powers of the three. He figures Jezebel knows this, and that's why she keeps her sisters under her thumb. Without them, she was almost nothing save for the memory wiping. Because what is luck if not fickle.

A chime sounds and the door opens. Ray steps out into his lavish condominium. The furniture and amenities are state of the art and post modern. The overall theme is dark and brooding, just the way he likes it. He detests the idea of bright and cheery atmospheres, finding them nothing more than a safety blanket from the harsh world outside his walls.

"Please make yourselves comfortable. If you need clothing or hygienic products I can send someone to fetch them for you. Are you certain you wouldn't like to contact your parents, or at the very least check to see if they have been approached by Daedalus?"

Justine paused for a moment. The sound from her eyes seemed.. slightly different. She had been walking around in complete darkness in the room Gigdet had given to to stay in for the time being, eyes open, and now suddenly... everything seemed... She dropped the glass of water to held and it shattered on the floor. She winced softly at the sound and looked down. She could just make out the outlines of the pieces of glass. She laughed brightly as she bent over and picked them up one by one without hassle. She tossed them away and looked towards the light switch. "Now for the real test." She smiled as she walked over and flipped it up.

After returning from what she felt was a successful endeavor, Gidget returned to her "human" body and sighed. The sigh is merely a formality, she didn't feel exasperated. That never stops her from realizing she should be.

She checks the cameras to find Ako and Tansy speaking with each other. She smiles, another formality. The smile fades to a dead pan semi-frown. The reality of her condition has been slapping her in the face more and more as of late. No more than now though, as she sees Ako and Tansy enjoying that wonderful feeling in the pit of your stomach that comes with love.

She sighs again, then checks up on Justine. She is pleased to see that she seems to be trying out her new eyes. A thought occurs to her, and she makes her way toward Justin's room.

A moment later she stands outside Justine's door and knocks.

Trinity figured if he hasn't made his move, he was probably not going to make one. Perhaps some diplomacy will help, she got up from behind the table. "Orion, please let them in they have patients to heal. If it's noise you are concerned about I can take you guys back to your room and you wouldn't have to hear anything or face people. What do you say to that?". She hoped she said the right thing. Sometimes she wasn't sure how she was with diplomacy, her actions tend to do more of the talking. But right now she wanted to avoid a fight.

Tansy smiled and laughed brightly. "That sounds good to me. Besides, the last time we ate somewhere fancy it didn't go to well." She shrugged somewhat, meaning it more as a playful joke, but she hoped that she didn't bring up any bad memories. She squeezed his hand gently, her body relaxing instantly at his touch. She wasn't sure why, but she had always been comfortable around him. If it hadn't been for him and his gentle guidance, she would have never learned to fly.

Justine looked up at the sound of the knock. She turned towards the door and smiled. Walking to the door, she opened it and smiled. "Good evening Gigdet." Her voice bright as she spoke. "I'm guessing you've come to check up on your handy work." She laughed softly as she motioned for her to come inside. "Well, I'm glad to tell you that so far, they work wonderfully."
