More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Liv stood atop of the building she used to observe the earlier situation. Her arms folded below her breasts, supporting them on her arms.Her sight isn't enhanced but she could see everything in the light spectrum. A little trick she had learned a long time ago. She was a master of light. She could create an intense flash that could blind anything within a radius of a few yards. By concentrating the light, she could create a laser. Liv was pleased with her power. Well...the power of her sister. But that didn't matter anymore. That was a long time ago.

The wind blew through her long golden hair with a soft breeze. She was having a bit of a difficult time with her mission. The deal that she had gotten out of it wasn't something she could just pass over. Not her. While she was in Valhalla, she could Drain whoever she wanted. Even if that Meta was on the Daedelus list. That meant powerful and useful powers she could use. Plus the money they offered was also very nice But she would need to either disable Valhalla so that they could invade and kill/capture whoever they felt like. They were all normal people who wanted to live their lives.

It wouldn't be the first time that she had killed or caused a death. But this was different. She sighed and let her arms drop. Time to head back and think things through. Perhaps form a plan on how to execute the plan. She knew she was one of the few people who could actually kill Agatha Morris. Trinity would not form a threat as well. No Meta would. Her powers allowed for no other power to harm her.

Light enveloped Liv as she turned into light and went back to Valhalla.

"I did." Lillith sighed softly. "She was crushed under the first meteorite. I was only 14 and on my own. I guess that's when things really started going down hill for me." She shrugged somewhat, not really wanting to talk about it. "And as far as my hair goes, you're lucky it'll grow back. But I spent a long time taking care of my hair to get it the way it was." She pouted softly, then sighed again. "Want to come with me to get it cut?"

Erin gave a small smile and nodded. "Sure, Let's go... I need to take a breather from everything. Maybe something nice would be relaxing." Getting up she grabbed her bag this time and tossed her items into it. "I'll pay for the hair, Lilith." she said.

An abrupt noise, they had come..! They had come to take his Apollo..! Immediately with much care the protective elder scooped the boy up. Pupils fluctuated as he turned to view the person who was speaking to him...who was that? "...What..?" The visible eye fluctuated, what was she talking about? "...patients--? Geh..!" A hand rose, covering the dead eye, the scarred eyelid. What was she talking about? "...Tch..! I don't...understand?" No...no..no.. This doesn't make any sense..! Was..this an illusion?

"Oh yeah. I had forgotten about that." Ako said when Tansy mentioned the incident at the restaurant. He remembered that whole fiasco as though it had happened only the other day. He wished he could have gotten his hands on Ray, and made him pay properly for what he did, but Tansy squeezed his hand before the thought went too far. They were alive, that's all that mattered. At least they had gotten out of there with most of their sanity intact. That's more than they could have hoped for, considering the fact that they were just kids going up against a man who could use their very fears against them.

He made himself focus on the fact that Tansy was beside him. All was well. Everything had worked out. Nothing was wrong anymore. Shut up and be happy. He pulled her closer to him as they walked towards the door to leave the garage. He held the door to the carpeted hallway open for her. "I don't think we have to worry about anything like that anymore."

Ray steps out of the limo and calls the elevator down. "No thanks necessary."

The door opens and Ray steps inside. Once everyone is in he places his hands on a digital reader in order to authorize their accent. The elevator hums to life and they start to rise.

Ray looks again amongst his young guests. The youngest, Lia, could find people. Without a doubt she had the most important powers of the three. He figures Jezebel knows this, and that's why she keeps her sisters under her thumb. Without them, she was almost nothing save for the memory wiping. Because what is luck if not fickle.

A chime sounds and the door opens. Ray steps out into his lavish condominium. The furniture and amenities are state of the art and post modern. The overall theme is dark and brooding, just the way he likes it. He detests the idea of bright and cheery atmospheres, finding them nothing more than a safety blanket from the harsh world outside his walls.

"Please make yourselves comfortable. If you need clothing or hygienic products I can send someone to fetch them for you. Are you certain you wouldn't like to contact your parents, or at the very least check to see if they have been approached by Daedalus?"

"A bath sound great!" Lia smiled brightly as she walked further into the room. She wrinkled her nose at the color choice. Everything was dark, but she didn't mind.

"For once, I agree with you." Jezebel sighed softly as she ran her hand through her gray locks. "And as far as our parents go, I'm sure they can handle themselves. Besides, I don't know if some of us can handle that information." The last part was said softly, although it barely mattered.

Tansy's face paled slightly. "Yeah..." She paused as she licked her lips. "Not for a while anyways." She sighed somewhat, not really wanting to tell him that there was a new fear master in town. She tired to smile at him as they walked holding hands, her body relaxed, her mind clear. "What kind of food do you think they have here?"

Lillith smiled as she grabbed her bag. "Only if you let me pay for dinner." She laughed softly as she stood and started to head for the door. "Oh, I forgot the reason I even called you." She smiled as she turned to Erin. "I'm going to take a wild guess that you already saw our article in the magizen this afternoon, huh?"

Annie nodded, "Yeah and it would be bad if we got too carried away." She said the last part more to remind herself than to tell Shane. Sighing she leaned back in the seat and crossed her legs, and then leaned forward propping her chin up with her hands, her elbows on her knees.

With a smile she said cherishing the thought, "Though, I don't know how much time we'll have for continuing once I get my son back. Raising a two year old does tend to put a damper on your love life, or so I would assume. Even if he is as intelligent as a three or four year old."

Shane blushes and playfully says, "Kid's gotta sleep sometime."

Annie turned a brighter shade of red and then the truck started up. The intercom came on and Dr. Berchant's voice came out, "We'll be there in just a couple more hours. Sorry for the wait, but there was a line to pay for the gas..."

Annie glanced at the speaker her eyes narrowed and she sighed, "The more I hear and see of him the more I want to hurt him..."

Justine looked up at the sound of the knock. She turned towards the door and smiled. Walking to the door, she opened it and smiled. "Good evening Gigdet." Her voice bright as she spoke. "I'm guessing you've come to check up on your handy work." She laughed softly as she motioned for her to come inside. "Well, I'm glad to tell you that so far, they work wonderfully."

Gidget is glad to hear that her "eyes" had worked out for Justine. Part of her was afraid that Shane had given her incorrect information and that the eyes would do more harm than good. She's happy to see that isn't the case.

She smiles at Justine and says, "That's great! I'm so glad that you are pleased with them. I have to confess, though, I came here for more than just to see how your eyes are. I need your help Justine."

Ray motions toward the far double doors. "You'll find that bathroom is large enough for all three of you to bathe at once if you so prefer. I know how much you three prefer to be within eyesight of one another."

He reaches into a nearby desk and pulls out a small notebook with a pen. "Write your sizes and preferred line of clothing here and I will have one of my people get a few changes of clothing for you. The kitchen of over there, and the guestroom has a king sized bed in it. Is there anything else you girls need?"

Shane thinks for a moment. "You know, I have been thinking about his little "assurance policy." He said that the device would activate upon the moment of his death. That's a fairly broad statement. An accident could occur. If his heart were to stop for a second, it would go off. Why would he go so far to risk something so important to him?"

"Even if he doesn't consider Christian a real son to him, more of an experiment, then he would want the subject to stay viable for future study. What he said earlier doesn't make sense from the standpoint of a scientist. I think he may be bluffing to keep us from killing him."

"What do you need? You've helped me, the least I can do is return the favor." She smiled somewhat as she leaned against the frame of the door. "You name it, you got it."

"I need your skills as an investigator. My access to records and files can only get me so far, I don't know how to think like a cop. There is a dangerous metahuman out and about, and I need to know more about him. I've put a stop to one of his operations in the sub district. But I don't think that's as far as his reach goes."

"He tortured one of my best friends for over a decade, and I don't want him to keep doing that. Do you think you can help?"

Trinity has seen this look before, the confusion of whether if she is illusion or not. "I'm not an illusion. I move through shadows. Do you recall how you first got to Valhalla? You were attacked by wolves and fell in a shed. I saw you and your brother in a security camera and brought you to Valhalla when you fell in the shed through shadow. Do you remember that? I can do the same thing again and take you away from here and to your room. Your brother needs his rest to recover. Might as well let him rest in his bed.

On top of that you are in the medical facility of Valhalla, there are patients here that need their assistance. How would you like it if someone was preventing healers from seeing your injured brother? What if you were the patient and your brother wasn't available?"

Deora saw Kerana disappear into her own shadow to be replaced with Trinity, but when she turned to try and find her friend, she couldn't see her through the crowd that had gathered. She gasped and jumped a little in surprise when Kerana hugged her. "KERANA! I was worried, are you okay?"
