More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Her words bundled up, making it sound to him like there were more than just her speaking. "...stop...! Stop talking!" His free hand cupped his ear, his jaw tightening as he tried to sort everything out. "Too many voices..!" The hand at his ear pull away as he instructed a pen flew towards her neck, both eyes widening as he was realizing what he was doing and dropped it immediately. This wasn't right, he knew this person, but...but he couldn't pinpoint who she was. "...geh. Words...to fast..Shh!" Something was very wrong here, was...was he really not at his home?

Trinity noticed he seemed more confused and was dodging the pen even though it didn't reach it's destination it was better to be safe than sorry. The words didn't seem to be getting through to him. Action had to be taken. She stepped close enough so that her shadow could reach his. Granted she didn't have to do it this way it was a lot easier to keep track if the subject wasn't going to let you touch them which was highly the case here. Orion's shadow became a hole.

((Hey guys. I pulled the muscles in the back of my shoulders, both of them, and I'm on like two painkillers and Valium. So I'm a little loopy-doopy-Ish... So please forgive me.))

Justine frowned somewhat. "Okay, tell me what you've got on this psychopath and I'll do everything I can to help. If need be I've got a few favors stored up that I can start cashing in." She placed her hand on Gugdet's shoulder. "Don't worry. We'll get him." She nOdded with an encouraging smile.

He took a step backwards as she stepped forwards, however his shadow had been aligned with hers and suddenly he found himself falling off the edge of something. "...W-what the hell?!" Quick thinking, fearful. How fearful he was. Clutching the boy tighter in his grasp as he attempted to use his telikinesis to get him out of the situation he had gotten himself into. Dragging a couch over he gripped onto the side, "Cut it out!" He yelled angrily at her as he struggled to pull himself over the side of the furniture. With one quick gesture he threw one of the coffee tables at her, something he refused to stop when it neared her...After all, she had attacked him first, right?

Annie turned a brighter shade of red and then the truck started up. The intercom came on and Dr. Berchant's voice came out, "We'll be there in just a couple more hours. Sorry for the wait, but there was a line to pay for the gas..."

Annie glanced at the speaker her eyes narrowed and she sighed, "The more I hear and see of him the more I want to hurt him..."

Shane thinks for a moment. "You know, I have been thinking about his little "assurance policy." He said that the device would activate upon the moment of his death. That's a fairly broad statement. An accident could occur. If his heart were to stop for a second, it would go off. Why would he go so far to risk something so important to him?"

"Even if he doesn't consider Christian a real son to him, more of an experiment, then he would want the subject to stay viable for future study. What he said earlier doesn't make sense from the standpoint of a scientist. I think he may be bluffing to keep us from killing him."

Annie raised a brow. "You have a point, but I wouldn't want to take the gamble that he isn't bluffing. He's awfully possesive of his experiments and in some ways would rather no one get credit for "his" work than for scientific progress to be made. I remember once he got the case, barely anyone else ever saw me besides him. He even did the menial things like delivering me food."

She pinched the bridge of her nose and continued, "What I am really worried about is if he contacted Daedalus while we weren't paying attention. We have been giving him more leeway than we should- and that is both of our faults."

Trinity reacted quickly and ducked. Geez! I should have gotten a full healing. Looks like nothing is going to be easy today... She dropped through her shadow. She came up behind him and covered his eyes,"I don't want to hurt you...just want to take you somewhere quiet.". With that she losened his grip so that he wasn't holding nothing but shadow and pulled him back into the darkness. They fell into their room and once she quickly confirmed it she dropped into her shadow and watched.

Tansy's face paled slightly. "Yeah..." She paused as she licked her lips. "Not for a while anyways." She sighed somewhat, not really wanting to tell him that there was a new fear master in town. She tired to smile at him as they walked holding hands, her body relaxed, her mind clear. "What kind of food do you think they have here?"

Ako thought he noticed a bit of unease, but decided not to ask about it. there was time to be sad or nervous later. Now was the time for joy. Instead he focused on her question. "Hopefully they'll have some steak, but I'm sure they have a little of everything. With all the people around here, they'd just about have to." He said.

Gidget nods and seems to stare off into space. What she is actually doing is reading off of her HUD. She pulls up Jordan's file and holds out her hand palm up. A small lens appears and displays a hologram of Jordan.

"Jordan Knightly: Age 30, registered height at 6'8", black hair brown eyes. Earliest records indicate that he was a ward of the state until he became of age. He went from foster home to foster home, usually under poor circumstances. Records state that he was a generally pleasant child with a rational and polite demeanor. He started seminary school but never finished. There is nothing on him after that."

The hologram disappears and Gidget returns her gaze to Justine. "The records end right around the last meteor shower. He must've come into contact with a fragment and went bat s**t crazy. The man I met tonight is not the one from this record."

Shane mulls, wondering what could be done about the man. He ponders the idea of consuming him and taking the device into himself, a feat he has never actually attempted. The good doctor was indeed becoming a problem.

"Don't worry. Daedalus doesn't have access to the gas the machine has, and electrocuting me will only result in killing everyone around me. He knows this, and he also knows that death is not the worst thing that can happen to a man. As I told him earlier, is hard to do any sort of research when you are missing limbs or eyes. He'll play ball...for now at least. But you're right, we are definitely giving him too much leeway. Any thoughts on how we can remedy that?"

The sudden darkness of his single functioning eyes caused the pair of eyes his hand around the brother tightening. His head turning slightly at her voice, even though he was incapable of seeing anything. "...!" It was then he felt her prying his fingertips from the couch, the eyes widening in bewilderment, fear. "Stop..!" Orion yelled out, but alas his 'fate' was definite as the darkness consumed him. It was then he pulled the small boy close to him, he wasn't going to let them take him. It was not long before he landed along his back in a room, the force enough to knock the breath out of him, causing him to choke and try to regain the air he had lost.

Placing the small boy along the floor next to him he choked, gasping as he started to push himself up from the ground. Cough...Cough...Hack! His body tensed before he found himself falling back onto the ground beneath him, one hand rising to cover his dead eye while another grabbed Apollo's wrist. "A-Apollo?" The elder questioned him, the single eye watching Apollo as he murmered something in his sleep. "..." His red eye looked towards the area in which they had come out of, shadow...Trinity. Immediately, out of anger that she had done what she did the more 'sane' Orion threw a chair in the room in her direction. "Get the hell away from us." The twenty year old snapped angrily.

Trinity saw it all happen from a dark corner in the ceiling. Her eyes lowered seeing all her efforts did not please him, she began to wonder if she should taken Orion to the psychological facility. Thing is he seemed to be alright when Apollo was awake, so hopefully he'll cool his jets when he wakes. She left leaving the elder to his brother.

She emerged from a dark corner near the medical facility with her arms folded wondering if she handled it the right way. As she saw the healers being able to get go their patients it looked like she did something right. She asked to be healed fully and using the aid of more than one healer, a trick they learned from Theonis she completely healed in no time. It felt good.

Deora could care less about the excuse Kerana gave for Orion's actions. The was acting crazy. Who cares if he was normal part of the time? Even insane asylums housed people who could pass for normal occasionally. "She's not hurting him, but I'm not sure what she's doing." Deora said as Trinity dealt with Orion. When they all disappeared into shadow she turned to face Kerana. "They're gone, I'm guessing Ms. Trinity took them somewhere."

The healers were just about done. Healing tends to be a lot quicker when there are multiple people healing you. He began to wonder what he should do with his time when he wasn't around Trinity. Maybe he should really try that coaching stuff. But perhaps he'd need to ask Trinity on how to continue on that. He heard a familiar voice calling his name. Turning around, he noticed it was the foxgirl.

"Oh hey Kerana. and........" Theonis said as he tried to remember the other girls name but maybe she didnt give him her name yesterday when they met.
