More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Deora." The girl said. After what had just happened, she really didn't feel like dealing with this guy. She still remembered what had happened the last time she saw him. After all, it was only yesterday.

He was angry, angry that he had acted out his 'tendencies' angry that he had been incapable of stopping himself. Angry that Apollo didn't realize that this was happening to him. "Apollo...wake up." He lightly pushed along his shoulder once he felt as if they were the only ones in the room. It was then he felt something missing, his eyepatch...the eyepatch that covered such a disgusting sight from his brother. No, don't wake up. Orion forced his tired body to stand, searching for something to cover up such a disgusting sight. Pulling out a small container he pulled some medical equipment he possessed when Apollo was unable to tend to his wounds. Rolling the bandage around his head several times, this would have to do until he could manage finding another eyepatch to his tastes.. Such a sight should never be seen, especially not from the individual who was the sole reason he received such a blow.

Ahh Trinity solved the problem it seems. Theonis thought as the door opened and people flooded in. So Trinity had to be in there too.... But enough thinking about Trinity. Is what he wanted to do but couldn't. Guess she had found her way inside of his head.

"Looks like she solved the problem in there." He said as he looked at the door."You two don't look injured though. Guess you were just passing by huh?"

Ako thought he noticed a bit of unease, but decided not to ask about it. there was time to be sad or nervous later. Now was the time for joy. Instead he focused on her question. "Hopefully they'll have some steak, but I'm sure they have a little of everything. With all the people around here, they'd just about have to." He said.

"How could they not?" She asked. "With how many people they have here, they have to be prepared for anything." She laughed softly as they made their way to the cafeteria. "Actually, now that I see it, we might be able to take our food to go and eat in a room somewhere." She paused, her face turning red as she lpoked to Ako. "I-if you want to that is." She smiled shyly at him.

Gidget nods and seems to stare off into space. What she is actually doing is reading off of her HUD. She pulls up Jordan's file and holds out her hand palm up. A small lens appears and displays a hologram of Jordan.

"Jordan Knightly: Age 30, registered height at 6'8", black hair brown eyes. Earliest records indicate that he was a ward of the state until he became of age. He went from foster home to foster home, usually under poor circumstances. Records state that he was a generally pleasant child with a rational and polite demeanor. He started seminary school but never finished. There is nothing on him after that."

The hologram disappears and Gidget returns her gaze to Justine. "The records end right around the last meteor shower. He must've come into contact with a fragment and went bat s**t crazy. The man I met tonight is not the one from this record."

Justine smiled at the woman before her. "I can understand now why so many people were unaware of your abilities." She laughed softly as she sobered and listened to the information on Jodran. "Hmm, I wouldn't be surprised. Actually, I'm suprised more people haven't gone off the deep end." She shrugged. "But I'll see what I can do about this guy." She gave Gigdet and unsure look. "I'm guessing you want him alive..." She didn't finish the sentence aloud, but if he had tortured her friend for that long, Justine had a feel Gigdet would want to 'return the favor' to put it nicely.

Annie raised a brow. "You have a point, but I wouldn't want to take the gamble that he isn't bluffing. He's awfully possesive of his experiments and in some ways would rather no one get credit for "his" work than for scientific progress to be made. I remember once he got the case, barely anyone else ever saw me besides him. He even did the menial things like delivering me food."

She pinched the bridge of her nose and continued, "What I am really worried about is if he contacted Daedalus while we weren't paying attention. We have been giving him more leeway than we should- and that is both of our faults."

Shane mulls, wondering what could be done about the man. He ponders the idea of consuming him and taking the device into himself, a feat he has never actually attempted. The good doctor was indeed becoming a problem.

"Don't worry. Daedalus doesn't have access to the gas the machine has, and electrocuting me will only result in killing everyone around me. He knows this, and he also knows that death is not the worst thing that can happen to a man. As I told him earlier, is hard to do any sort of research when you are missing limbs or eyes. He'll play ball...for now at least. But you're right, we are definitely giving him too much leeway. Any thoughts on how we can remedy that?"

"I could ride up front for a while to make sure we are going the right way, but I really don't desire being close to him for that long," Annie replied biting her lip. Sighing she added, "He'll say something to piss me off and I'll end up using my power and we'll end up wrecking or something knowing my luck."

"Berchant is a problem but how to deal with him has always been the problem," added Annie. "You're the brain- surely you have some ideas of how to take care of this problem best floating around. My style is to go straight in powers blazing, but even I know that, that is a stupid idea especially when dealing with Berchant and Daedalus."

Now that Trinity was healed, what next? She thanked the healers and thought of what else she had to look into. She pulled out her smart phone and found no notices or news reports on Shane. Nothing to follow up there. As for the girls their trail has grown cold by now. There was still investigating why Daedalus didn't attack at a prime opportunity. Gidget's mole theory did have a strong possibility. However, they seemed to have left in the middle fight. Why? Why were they there in the first place?

She saw Theonis, but she had work to do. Her stomach grumbled, the healers could heal wounds but not cure hunger. Perhaps some lunch would be a good idea.... She lingered a moment looking at Theonis she wanted to do lunch with him but she needed to think things through. She started heading toward the dining hall.

So she really is like a fox. Tail and ears reflect her emotions. Cute Theonis thought to himself.

"Can't recall her saving me but she did give me some advice."

And love...plenty of love.

"And I don't see her around, so I guess she is working again. Could have at least tell me Trin." Theonis said but mumbled the last part.

"Anyway, guess I need to find her. Still no idea on who to talk to bout that whole Meta power coaching thing or whatever it's called. Guess I am good with analyzing people's power."

Gidget's tone becomes grim as she states, "I gave him his chance. He made it perfectly clear that he is going on with his madness. If he gives me reason to I'll take him down without batting an eyelash. What really concerns me is how deep his influence might go. He got to Tansy thirteen years ago, and the second personality inside of her head made it perfectly clear that it would go to hell and back for this a*****e. There is no telling how many people he has his hooks into."

Shane thinks for a moment. "I'll go up front in the guise of his student. I can read feel peoples biorhythms so I can tell if he is lying. I'll have to stay up front for the rest of the trip though. The only real problem I can anticipate running into that the doctor wont cause is if they decide to do a thermal scan of the vehicle as we arrive. They'll see three when there are supposed to be four."

"I experimented with dividing myself yesterday, but the mass took on a personality of it's own. And this time there isn't anything for it to consume and take the place of. It wont do a bit of good. We may have to go in fighting. If that happens you go straight to Christian by turning to liquid and laying low. I can take whatever they throw at me as long as it isn't mechanical. The more soldiers they send to attack me, the more fuel I have to fight with."

Ray motions toward the far double doors. "You'll find that bathroom is large enough for all three of you to bathe at once if you so prefer. I know how much you three prefer to be within eyesight of one another."

He reaches into a nearby desk and pulls out a small notebook with a pen. "Write your sizes and preferred line of clothing here and I will have one of my people get a few changes of clothing for you. The kitchen of over there, and the guestroom has a king sized bed in it. Is there anything else you girls need?"

"Thanks." Jeze muttered softly as grabbed the notebook as she and her sisters made their way towards the bathroom. Once inside Jeze frowned. "I'm not so sure we should put our complete trust in this guy."
"Why not?" Lia paused as she looked at Jeze, her shirt already gone as she started to pull her hair down from it's pig tails.
"I just don't think it's a good idea." She sighed softly as she looked to Kali, whom nodded.

Trinity got in line and put together one of her usual chicken salads. It had spinach leaves, sliced tomatoes, olives, cucumbers, celery and baby carrots, topped with grilled chicken. It was all placed in a to-go box. She picked up a water bottle.

On her way out she saw Ako and Tansy together, it made her think of Theonis. Hmm... I bet he wonders where I am right now... She looked at her smart phone and frowned, Crud... You'd think I'd ask for his number by now considering the kind of time I spent with him. He's not in the database yet, so I can't look him up that way... Did I give him one of my cards?...I hope I did at least grant him that favor.. She paused a moment, and stroke her chin and grinned Y'know I should check on Kerana after such an ordeal...It's work related...as well as adding Theonis to the database...

"Thanks." Jeze muttered softly as grabbed the notebook as she and her sisters made their way towards the bathroom. Once inside Jeze frowned. "I'm not so sure we should put our complete trust in this guy."
"Why not?" Lia paused as she looked at Jeze, her shirt already gone as she started to pull her hair down from it's pig tails.
"I just don't think it's a good idea." She sighed softly as she looked to Kali, whom nodded.

Charles Ray watches as the girls hole themselves up in the bathroom. He takes off his blazer and makes his way toward his office. He loosens his tie as he speaks aloud, "Loki: Recall satellite imagery of the central sub district approximately one hour ago. Playback in thermal. "

His office lights up as a large display screen is revealed behind a wall of awards and accolades from various industries and peace keeping organizations. The screen pulls up an overhead view of the requested area. He is not shocked to see a familiar thermal sight. A cold figure in the shape of a robo-woman with fire coming from it's feet. Agatha Morris. The question is, what was she doing there.

The video displays her speaking with someone inside, that someone disappearing, her walking around the church, and then the church going up in flames. Now the question Ray is asking himself is who was that man, and what did he do to elicit that reaction out of the normally level heading machine girl.

He rubs his chin curiously as he ponders. As much of a longshot as it is, there is a chance the man she spoke to is the one that has been unsettling him for so long. If so then he may not have an enemy after all, but a potential ally.

He pours himself a glass of scotch as he waits for the girls to finish cleaning up, perplexed as to why Jezebel took the notebook into the bathroom with them instead of allowing him to retrieve clean clothes for them.
