Karin bowed her head, frowning slightly as he grabbed onto the tree and then spoke. Her head tilted again and she sighed quietly. "Well..." she began slowly. "Instead of apologizing, you could explain to me what just happened. Then you wouldn't have to be sorry, since I'll know." She glanced up at him again. Her ears were perking slightly as she began to relax a bit, and her tail had slid from around her waist to circle her right leg instead. She stared in a sort of fascination as the wings retracted and then noted his eyes had gone back to normal again. "Maybe you could... start will explaining why you had wings?" she asked curiously.

Upon entering the courtyard, Erik sighed. "This is perfect, Amaya. The moon is out, as are the stars, and it's just you and me." He smiled, still holding her hand. "I never thought this would actually happen. I'm glad it did..."

He took his place, standing before her, and took both her hands. With a shy smile, he took a deep breath, and looked into her eyes. "Wow..." He muttered, hoping she didn't hear. "Amaya...Anyone ever told you, your eyes are really magnificent?" He asked, hoping to God that he didn't sound generic. He would hate himself forever if he ruined this night.

Suka pulled himself up into the tree, sitting on a branch directly in front of her. He thought for a moment...it seemed that the answers to her questions were coming chronologically in order... "Hmm...well. remember what I told you earlier...about when my parents died?" he asked...though it was rhetorical "Well...it happened soon after. I had walked alone away from the spot of my pack's death field and I don't know...maybe a few weeks or months later i came up to a lake. But this lake wasn't regular....the water was black. I was curious about what it would feel like being in it but once I got in the lake I entered into a different Realm...the Nightmare Realm. I ran into a few low level Nightmares...I think they were just level ones....but anyway they told me about how his protector guy had died or run off...can't remember which one. Anyway they were left without anyone to take care of their realm and they told me that they wanted me to do it for them...to become their Protector. So I agreed...not knowing much about them at all, and they handed me the Nightmare Staff and when I became the Protector of the Nightmare realm I ended up with a Nightmare Form aswell. I don't remember exactly how it happened, I think it was when I sat in the Throne that I changed...but those wings were Nightmare wings...wings that belong to my Nightmare form." he took a breath and quieted for a moment before finishing it off "From then on I had Nightmare energy powers...and I also had higher level Nightmare forms too. All the way up to level nine I think..though I've never controlled it past level five.....that doesn't matter though....now you know why I have Nightmare Wings...I'm a Nightmare, how 'bout that" he said sighing a bit as he finished the story and leaning against the branch behind him slowly moving his eyes to meet hers.

Joys vision was darkning slowly at the corners,like a disease that creeps into your body,running through your veins with its dealdy posion.Slowly but steadyingly,Joys eyes focused on the pain stricken face of Kurai with awe and fury. How..How..is he still alive??..Nee waa. Joy didn't think she would stumbeled so badly in her dance..

Of course Joy didn't want to let Kurai know that she was suffering as much as Kurai,or maybe even more so then him. She had to put alot of her mana into that ball of yarn,there was a annoying loud screetchy noise,like nails on a chalk board as Joy dragged her scyth across the ground. Making her way towards Kurai,who was mummbling to half to himself and half to her. When was..walking..so hard..Wondering tireadly,stagginger a bit,swaying form left to right. She tried to giggle to seem like she had everything in control,like everything was okie dokie for Ria Highs favorite hyper neko but she realized she had barly enough air to breath.

Then there was an errie purple color circling around Kurai,Joy stopped suddenly. Ella had never gotten to the point of teaching Joy much,and definatly nothing about incations. Thanks to a few classes Joy had taken here at Ria,she knew what one looked like,but thats was as far as her wisedom went sadly.

Joy tilted her head curiosly,feeling blood trickle down her chest,there was quite a gruesome gash around her bustline,hidden beneath the rags that were the sole remains of her dress. Kurai was the most peculair toy she had ever caught. What was the point of figthing for something that wasn't here anymore.It wouldn't bring Mint back.

Smirking as Kurai yelled at her furiosly, walking towards him her vision was clouding up more,was it just her or was there something coming towards her at such a fast rate?? Joy lifted up her scyth high above her,ready to swing it back down sending an earthquake to finally end it with Kurai. But she never had the chance. Feeling something cold and hard wrap around her body,she felt a sudden tug on herself,feeling her whoosh by the air,her long green hair flapping in the wind.

Kurai disspeared out of her line of vison,as soon she was looking in the barren nigh sky,the red moon was slowly being drained of its color turning back to that pure white. Her ears twiched,not hearing Kurai. Everything was so defeaning silent as reality sank in,like a deadly illness,fear creeped itself into Joys mind settling itself in for a long stay. She was falling downwards now,the wind whoosing past her frail broken body. Falling into the waiting black abyss with Kurai. How was he able to do it??She wondered in the back of her head. Joy reached out,like a pathetic last attempt to safty,back to Ella. As the small faint moonlight grew fainter and fainter,and Joys hopes died away,tea cups and cuttlery came raining down on her,barly missing Joy,ecept for one fork that scraped across ehr skin btu Joy didn't ntoice it one bit.

Memories flashed by,Joy tried to laugh but only a soft chuckle came out. She couldn't believe her life,her life with her precious Ella, was actually flying by in her minds eye. As she reached out with one hand,a small red diamond ring sparkling in the darkness. Gomen Ella but it seems that pain won't bind us together.. She closed her eyes as she kept on being dragged into the darkness with Kurai,her sweet mocking bird,that soft,sad all knowing smile on her tanned face,her eyes closed letting the darkness finally take her. ...but Death.

Ella covered her eyes with her arm, putting her safty into Ishoas hand for now. Her head turned sharply,as she cracked her eyes open. She saw Joys tiny child size body get sucked in a black hole, was that a portal?? She heard the words Gate of Thanatos from Ishoa,as she saw her tea cup fly off the table. Then there was an errie silence,as calm took over the far away corner of the courtyard.

Ella sat there for a while,taking this all in. She looked around herself looking behdin ehr shoulder,it seemed she wasn't dead,which meant Joy wasn't. A weird feeling took over her for a single momment,but it was then washed away with atoinshment. ..shes..gone.Im.Im..Free.. "Heh too bad Ishoanii-san,it seems you lost something precious,unlike like moi." A small grin curlced up on her face,as she started laughing,laughing hysterically like a madman,as she held her stomache,bending over. She was laughing so hard it hurt. She couldn't believe it,Kurai had a great deed for her. She was rid of Joy,that annoying,hyerp,loud,singing idot who she could never shake off after all these centuries. Then she felt something quite warm,she was on her knees now her back showing to Ishoa,looking towards where the portal had been but it closed up by now sealing Joy away,away from Ella finally.

Something wet slid down her cheeks as she kept on laughing so hard,her shoulders shook with laughter. And yes,tears streamed down her face unknowningly,intill her fair face was stained with tears. Ella touched her face,the tips meeting in contact with cold water,pulling back she looked at her hand. She blinked a few times,stopped laughing now,bewirldered with this dilema. She didn't know she could cry without forcing herself too. The silence was broken,the spell snapped in two as the wind blew Ellas long red hair.Like a river of blood in the air as Ella stood there on her knees,staring down at the tears in her the palm of her clawed hand. She then looked upwards,her eyes lost somewhere else far far away from here. So why is when shes finally gone,I start laughing but I end up in tears?

Karin watched silently as Suka pulled himself back into the tree, and remained standing in front of him. She slipped her hands into the front pocket of her sweatshirt again so she wouldn't fidget nervously and kept her gaze locked upon his curiously, ears tilting towards him now as well. She nodded quietly at his first question and listened as he went on. Her eyes widened slightly as he spoke.

Nightmares? When he said that, she first thought of bad dreams, but soon realized that was not at all what he was talking about. She'd never heard of Nightmares, or Nightmare forms, or any of this... Maybe she should head back to the library. She blinked as he finished and gazed back into his eyes, head still tilted slightly. She remained silent for a moment, just taking in this information. Then she finally opened her mouth again. "So, um..." she began awkwardly. "What was... it you did? In the church and... there?" she finished, guesturing towards the branch where the carving was.

He smiled, and looked down. "Good, good..." He felt nervous again, but he shook it off. "If me complimenting your eyes means alot, then, this'll mean the world." He took a deep breath, and looked back up at her. "Amaya, I...I think I'm in love with you." He felt strange, saying it aloud, and fully expected laughter, and embarassment.

He gave a wide smile, and, looking into her eyes still, for the third time, kissed her. It was no coincidence, he knew. They had both been brought here for a reason. He didn't care why. All he cared about was right now, kissing her. It made the entire trip here worthwhile. Because, now, he knew she loved him. And she knew he loved her. He couldn't have asked for a better first day.

Suka looked into her eyes for another moment, he already felt that the questions were coming a bit quick, but he'd already apologized once for keeping information from her and he did not feel that he would want to do it again. "Well...Not long after I'd aken position as the Protector of the Nightmare Realm I found out about the Shadow Realm. A Realm filled with Shadow Demons...Shadow Demons are Nightmare's arch-rivals so to speak." He coudn't find any better words for that at the moment. "Once I met Yuri at the pack I'd gone to I left soon after he'd finally goten to where he was stronger than I was. The time we fought and he beat me I'd let my Nightmare form take over and that's when I moved away to a different pack. In the different pack there were both foxes and wolves and I wasn't there for long until I had to leave to the Nightmare Realm because I found out that a large portal had erupted in the Abyss of the Nightmare realm...the portal led to a midsection between the Nightmare Realm and the Shadow Realm. There was a war and...well let's sjust skip the details of that particular event for now...the numbers of Demons of both Relams decreased severely. In order to keep from having it happen again I thought that I should...steal power from somewhere else and through me I'd somehow bring it to the Nightmare Realm. I didn't remember how to or what was suposed to happen until after I was a little late...that's why I didn't know how you could help 'til I remembered the tree." He said and looked back at the tree. "Yuri had been asked to help the Shadow Realm in the war, and after it all...after I'd ended up fighting Yuri again, and after the Nightmare Realm ended up victorious so-to-speak...Yuri and I ent to an altar for some reason. It was all his idea...but once we got there I remembered an engravement I'd seen when I first entered the Nightmare Realm through that lake. I had memorized it in the language from the Realm I came from and by the time the war came around I had learned what the engravement was for. At the altar was when I decided I would steal holy power...but Yuri's demon side, Kosuke, took him over because he was vulnerable and really damaged. Kosuke forced us to leave before I could finish because of the holy presence in that altar...much like the one in the church at this school...though that altar had a much stronger presence there...." He stopped to take another breath and slow himself down a bit before continuing to explain what was going on. "I stole from he heavens...and I finished my theiving in the Church here at Ria High. I had to grab the attention of the heavens by faking the Lord's Prayer...the incantation from before, the one I recited in front of the statue of the angel...that was the engravement but in the language of Nightmares. I had forgotten all that I knew about what would happen when I started it, and so when I started to feel pain just from being in the churhch I knew I had to try and figure it out. The pain in my arm and in my leg was the power I stole clogging up, I suppose, I don't know a better way to describe it. I had to find an outlet...if you did not help me to the symbol...the symbol of which belongs to the Nightmare realm...I would have had to use you to keep from the holy power killing me. I wouldn't have done it willingly but if I had turned into my Nightmare form before I made it to the symbol then I would have had no choice. That's why you had to leave when I sent the power through me into the Realm...I still might have ended up using you." he loooked away from her eyes and to the ground "That...that should answer you're question..." He readjusted himself, having sat upright half way through the explanation, and he stilll looked away. He couldn't find any words to conclude what he'd just told her with...nd he was ashamed that what he said about using her was true...he would have given in before it overpowered him and that was sickening to think about.

"I really love you, too." He said, smiling. "I don't know why, but, this night just feels so...Perfect...Like, nothing could go wrong. You know?" He said, quietly. With a sigh, he looked up to the sky, and smiled brightly. "It really is a lovely night. Shall we sit down? Maybe, watch the stars?" He asked, unsure on exactly what to say.

When Seiya said taht she had gotten the egg from the 'Fiery Abyss', Heero's jaw dropped. He'd heard of this place before, from his grandmother, from elders in different villages and even in his dreams, but could never quite figure what it's trueness was. Some have told him that it's darkness and the evil that emitts from it compars to that of hell. Some say it's hell itself, and others just stay away and don't bother with it.

When they suggested they go and check it out, Heero smiled and put his hands in his pockets. "Sounds like a field trip." Heero said with much inthusiasm.

He wanted to see what was really down there. Was it really? Was it really hell? These questions are what Heero asked himself.
