More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie looked perplexed slightly at Shane's question on how she wanted to destroy the Daedalus HQ. Sighing she said quickly, "Disable all the guards and release the meta humans who are in captivity here- there are about a hundred and fifty metas of varying ages in captivity last time I was here. So that requires striking all eight floors of the facility. Then let the havoc that the previously imprisoned metahumans want to wreck go underway."

"The chaos would also have the advantage of giving us cover to get Gidget's body out of here," Annie added, thoughtfully. I can work on releasing prisoners. It will take a lot of energy for me to release all of them but I'll manage it... somehow." She wasn't sure if her powers could hold up that long but she had to try, right?

"Shifting to my liquid form doesn't take that much energy for me to hold unless I am expected to hold it for a couple hours," she added.

"Which you will have to do if you plan to release eight floors of meta humans and prisoners," pointed out Dr. Berchant. "And beyond that you'll have to use your powers continuously. You're an idiot if you think you can manage all that on your own."

Annie glared at Dr. Berchant and snapped, "Oh so you have a bright idea on what to do?"

"Oh no," Dr. Berchant said smirking over Christian's head. "I am just taking delight in pointing out the flaws in your plans. If anyone knows the extent of your abilities it would be me. Hell, I probably know the extent of your powers better than you do."

Shane glares at Berchant for a second before looking back at Annie. "You wont have to hold it for a few hours. The guards will be so preoccupied with me that they will probably be paying little to no attention to you. I'll make sure of that. The more bodies they throw at me the more biomass I can create and use against them."

"Our first task should be to release the other metahumans. I can break through any lock or hack any system that they have in place to keep them penned. I think it may be best if you accompany me in your liquid form and let me do the fighting at first. Once we open the first cell we can formulate another plan."

"Say you mind if we spar a little after the registration? I've never been good with close combat but I've noticed that I kind of absorb information. So wanna know if I can get a hang of it now and how fast I can learn moves." He asked as he finished his soup.

Though something else popped in her head when he first popped the question and made her blush. She couldn't help it, things seem to have an entirely different meeting when it came from Theonis. She composed herself and answered, "Perhaps after wor-" she was interrupted by her phone that buzzed and lit up. It was a message from Gidget, "Sorry Theonis but I've got to address this."

Text from Gidget

"Everything went well. Tansy is good and healthy now. I just got done checking in with Justine to see how her eye augmentation went. Also went well. Any news on my brother or Annie?"

Text from Trinity

"I may need your help with tracking them. Do you have a moment to meet up in your lab? I'll disclose my updates on them there. There's a lot to cover.

I'm glad Justine's operation was a success. Good to hear about Tansy too. I can see her from where I sit, she seems happier.

"Theonis I'm afraid I have to leave shortly. I'm afraid you may have to go to the Registrars Office on your own. I can walk you there if you'd like."

Theonis gave her a small nod when she picked up her phone. Although he wondered why she blushed at his question it didn't take him long to figure it out. Considering her own behavior when they were alone and his own. He wouldn't mind the kind of sparring Trinity seemed to have in mind. He didn't say it right away but you could see a bit of a sparkle in his eyes.

"Duty calls huh? But yeah I'd like that. Shall we be off when you are done then" Theonis asked

"Yeah I'm afraid so. Sometimes it feels like I've been working longer than I actually am.". She looked down at her bowl which she had made progress on here and there through out their conversation to find that her salad was mostly empty. Gee must have been hungrier than I thought.... After she finished the last of her salad she finished the rest of her water. She took her napkin and whipped her mouth. "Alright let's go."

Gidget receives Trinity's text and heads to her lab. She starts to wonder what Trinity has been doing since this morning. Surely she hasn't just been sitting on her hands. She wouldn't allow herself to.

Before she knows it she reaches her lab. She had kept her head down while she was thinking, and nearly runs into the door in the process. She stops suddenly at the door and looks at it incredulously like it had purposely interrupted her train of thought.

The look prompts the door's scanner and opens to allow her access. She steps through and takes a seat at her main desk. She waits for Trinity's arrival.

Theonis returned his empty bowl then left with Trinity.

"At least it's never boring around here. Well I shall be your distraction from work when you need it" He said casually as they walked along." I think I'm good at distracting you"

He wondered if he needed to register his full name or the one he needed to use. Because he never really liked his full name.

Trinity smiled at Theonis' comment and brought her hand to cup the side of his face. She looks into his eyes and said, "I'd not only say that, but I'd say you're my favorite distraction..." she locks her lips with his and held him close. She pulled him down into her shadow to have the kiss last longer in there which was mere seconds in the real world. She pulled back as they emerge from the dark corner of the Registrar's office. She looked longingly at him but knew what had to be done.

Trinity approached an administrative desk, "I have a new recruit who needs your assistance." The blond sitting at the desk and started the process. Trinity looks to Theonis, "I'll see you later..." one could tell she didn't want to leave him but duty calls and Annie and Shane are there she didn't want to miss her window of opportunity to secure Kerana's parents.

She exited the office and heads to Gidget's lab using her shadow traveling. She didn't want to keep Gidget waiting she emerged from a dark area across from where Gidget sat. "Hi Gidget, where should I begin? So much has happened since this morning... I take it you got the video footage from Kodak on Shane right?"

Theonis who was pleasantly surprised by this got caught up in the moment with Trinity. Guess he was the one distracted right now. Not that he minded. What he did regret was that the moment was short. Even in the shadow realm.

"Oh I'll make sure of that Trin" Theonis said with a wink when Trinity left.

He then turned to face the lady.

"So yeah...what do I to sign?"

Kerana

Kerana remembered that she needed ask Trinity about her parents. When she looked to see if she was still her visual distance, which little does she realize it's farther than average. Her eyes widden, "Ohhhhhhh my gosh! I can't believe my eyes!"

"Que? What is it, Kerana?" Deora asked, trying to see what the girl was talking about. Her sense might be a bit better than before the meteor struck, but that was apparently nothing compared to Kerana.

"Waiting? Hmm?" She tilted her head with a smile and a small laugh. She grabbed a tray and started looking down the line of food, picking up a few things here and there. When was the last time she even ate? She had to admit the noise and chatter of the room made her feel at peace. It was going to have to be a while before she would be ready to actually spend time alone in silence. Hopefully she would have to....

"Yeah," Ako said as he placed food on his plate. "I was waiting so I could eat with you." He gave her a quick smile before going back to picking out food. Or Gidget. A voice in his head added. He'd never been able to rid himself of that voice of doubt, he was only able to suppress it. And in this case, he had to admit he agreed with it. He'd always thought of Gidget as a little sister, but he hadn't seen her in over ten years, and he had to admit she'd matured a lot in that time. Or at least, she appeared to. He was snapped away from this thought as he got to the end of the line, a bit surprised to not find a cashier. Apparently the food really was free.

Deora stuck her tongue out in disgust. "I don't see why anyone would go with a guy like that! Does she know what he did with that angel woman, como se llama, Tansy?"
