Rayna turned a light pink as she looked down to her lap, beginning to take her hand away. "Err...my brother died...and Charlie's...not my brother..." she said quietly. Charlie didn't let go of her hand. He just smiled down at Hakai. "I'm Rayna's boyfriend." he stated bluntly, causing Rayna to nearly fall into the fountain. "It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Hakai." he added, extending his free hand towards her.

Blinking a few times, she blushed and looked back up. How could she have been so stupid they didn't even look alike, he didn't even have any ears...or did he?

"Oh I'm sorry. Rayna. And its my pleasure Charlie." She extened her hand and smiled shaking it a few times. "Careful there, or you'll loose your girlfriend to the water." She laughed and shook her head.

Charlie smiled, shaking her hand and smiling, taking his hand and sticking his thumb in his belt loop. He looked over to Rayne, who was a deep tomato red from the 'girlfriend' comment. "No worries. I'll just do this." he said, yanking her arm, causing her to fly off the stone rim and landing in his arms. If possible, her face turned even more red as he chuckled. "There. Now she can't fall in." he said, smiling triumphantly.

"So how long have you knows Rayna?" he asked, changing the subject.

Botan turned to look at the neko slowly, revealing a still red, but very gentle feminine face. She sighed and sat down at the fountain, her eyes solemn.

"Well you see..." she replied in a very quiet almost squeaky voice, "I-I have a little problem..."

She then put her hands to her barely covered breasts and then dropped them down her skinny chest.

"You see...I'm not like other nekos....."

Lydia was stumbling over her feet trying to get away from the horrific images at the Hot Springs. By the time she had reached the courtyard she was crying so hard she ceased to be able to see. She sat by the fountain to try and clear her thoughts, looking into the water at her wet blonde hair and crazy pink outfit. "Where is that girl I used to know? The girl who used to run through the mall in crazy cos-play outfits?" she asked her reflection. She picked up some water from the fountain and splashed it on her face. "It'll be okay, it's all over. Vince has been dead for over a year. He was not hanging from that tree." Lydia said trying to bring herself back to earth.

"Well you see...I-I have a little problem..."

Cadence looked at Botan with curiousity, her ears perked forward in intrest. She had never met a Neko who could do this; it was such a crazy cool trick! Cadence totally wanted to learn how to do it, but she had a gut feeling that Botan didn't like it one bit.

Her ruby eyes glimmered with sadness as she saw how the young neko react to her newly founded cleavage, and before Cadence knew exactly what she was doing, pulled Botan into a tight, loving hug. Cadence knew this is all Botan wanted right now..someone who loved him for who he was...she was.

"You see...I'm not like other nekos....."

She chuckled softly into Botan's ear and squeezed her even tighter than before. her tail, with a mind of its own, tickled Botan's hand swetly, trying to cheer the poor girl up desperately. "I think you look just fine." Cadence finally said after a quiet minute or so from her; she was trying to think of what to say. A small smile tugged on her sparkling, pink lips as she looked into those luminescent green eyes that she absolutely adored.

Botan suddenly felt a warm embrace come from nowhere...she found her self stuck between Cadences two gigantic arms. The blush went a little deeper, but she didn't really mind the hug...He felt....love...for herself as a person...

"I think you look just fine."

Botan's beautiful eyes went wide as she looked at her, sniffing lightly.

"Y-you-you do????" she replied with that same shy squeak.

"Why of course!! I think you look wonderful! A lot prettier than me!" Cadence said reassuringly, rubbing her back with one of her hands; that always soothed her when she was upset about something. Maybe it worked on all Neko's or something like that.

When Botan gazed at Cadence with surprise, her ears fell slightly in despair. "W-Well....yes..why don't you think so?" Cadence had a thing about making others feel good and them having a better self esteem than herself; Cadence wasn't one to have immensely high self esteem. She actually thought that a lot was wrong with her, but Cadence would never say anything in fear of making other's confidence drop. "Besides...I think that trick is soooo cool!!"

It almost looked like the multi gendered neko smiled for a moment, but it changed back into a frown as Cadence asked the next question.

"It's no trick Cadence...it's a condition...and in my tribe...I was a freak in thier eyes...especially considering I am a man... in face I was called ugly by the other nekos...and mud was thrown at me...making me look even worse....One of the elders spoke of this place....and said that people could have questions answered...of all sorts...that is the real reason I came...."

"Oh...well...thos neko's are just big meanies! I think you're a special neko!" Cadence said cheerfully, kissing her cheek without thinking about it much; wow that was embarassing. She quickly pulled back and rubbed her arm uneasily, her face rose color. Even though Botan looked like a girl, Cadence could still like him..at least that's what she hoped.

"I'm sure one of the teachers could answer your questions! The headmaster is really smart...or..maybe you should go see Mr. Ishoa...Well, I'm willing to help in anyway I can!" Cadence cheered happily, clapping her hands together like a small chibi Neko. Her ears returned to their normal, perked up status and her tail was flailing about joyously; everything seemed normal with Cadence. Besides the fact she was hiding her complete mortification.

Botan blushed as the soft lips of Cadence touched her cheek. The fact that she kissed her was one part scary but one part warm. The fact that she seemed to care about him that much was odd, but affectionate.

"I'm sure one of the teachers could answer your questions! The headmaster is really smart...or..maybe you should go see Mr. Ishoa...Well, I'm willing to help in anyway I can!"

It was at this point that Botan smiled a light gentle smile.

"Do-do you really think so?"

Hakai brust out laughing and shook her head. Ah lovers...they always made her laugh.

"Huh? Me? Oh we just met yesterday, right Rayna?" she look up to her and smiled. "Well enough about me, what about the two of you."

Rayna pulled a bit away from Charlie and nodded, still a light pink from what just happened. "Err, yeah...we met yesterday." she said, not looking Charlie in the eye. He nodded, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "I see. What about us?" he asked Hakai, taking his arm back and sitting in front of her on the ground. Rayna did the same, only next to Hakai.

She watched them sit down before her and smiled. It must be cool to be in love, her abilities and being thrown around so offten really kept her from being able to even start a relationship.

"Well how long have you two known each other, ol' Rayna here seems to turn as red as an apple around you." She laughed and shook her head.

Rayna looked down to her lap and fiddled her thumbs, turning pinker at the comment. Charlie looked over at her and chuckled a bit, turning back to Hakai. "Since....December, I think it was." he replied, smiling. "Right Rayna?" he asked. She nodded, pulling her ponytail from over her shoulder and playing with the ends of her hair. She didn't look up. "I was travelling when I met him and Kylie." she replied. Charlie nodded. "Kylie's my younger sister. She's Rayna's age. By the way, how old are you?" he asked her.
