More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

((Sorry, I'm not used to either typing it or dealing with people who understand it. XD))

"The creep was apparently going out with Tansy's other personality, but when he found out that that wasn't the real her, he went straight to hitting on you and me." Deora explained, feeling disgusted just talking about it.

((I'm just glad I haven't screwed up massively yet. Though that might be because I'm only using it to punctuate certain moments. Like when Deora gets to angry and forgets to speak English. XD))

"It seems like I've dealt with a lot of creeps recently." Deora said. "But yeah, We should warn her." Trinity looked happy with him, from what she'd seen, but she'd seen many of her friends hurt my the men they loved.

Trinity smiled at Theonis' comment and brought her hand to cup the side of his face. She looks into his eyes and said, "I'd not only say that, but I'd say you're my favorite distraction..." she locks her lips with his and held him close. She pulled him down into her shadow to have the kiss last longer in there which was mere seconds in the real world. She pulled back as they emerge from the dark corner of the Registrar's office. She looked longingly at him but knew what had to be done.

Trinity approached an administrative desk, "I have a new recruit who needs your assistance." The blond sitting at the desk and started the process. Trinity looks to Theonis, "I'll see you later..." one could tell she didn't want to leave him but duty calls and Annie and Shane are there she didn't want to miss her window of opportunity to secure Kerana's parents.

She exited the office and heads to Gidget's lab using her shadow traveling. She didn't want to keep Gidget waiting she emerged from a dark area across from where Gidget sat. "Hi Gidget, where should I begin? So much has happened since this morning... I take it you got the video footage from Kodak on Shane right?"

At the mention of her brother, Gidget becomes uncharacteristically somber. "No I haven't. After taking care of Tansy I had to see to another situation that was brewing up in the sub district. I only just now got the chance to sit down."

Gidget gives her friend a look over and scans her vitals and condition. "You've been injured and healed. You didn't actually try to take on Shane by yourself did you?"

"Well not by myself... and the damage wasn't all Shane. Allow me to explain..." she hooked up her smartphone to one of the monitors. "After Theonis' training we went to have breakfast together. I got a news notification about a missing hotel manager. Following a hunch I found that the hotel would be on their path to North Dakota. I went there and saw North's car." she brings up the photo she took display the vehicle in front of the motel. "I went in with Theonis and looked for clues. We found some blood which I suspect was a slash to the neck. We got a name of the manager I set up a search for vehicle registration. With some help from Kodak I was able to acquire this from the security camera set up across the front desk.". She showed the video showed the manager saying no and being a jerk toward metas followed by Shane going after him behind closed doors coming back out with keys and money.

"I was going to return to base and report my findings when one of the cops told me that this happened at a near by diner. The following has been on the news" she played the last bit of Shane killing everyone in the diner. "I couldn't let him get away with that... So I confronted him with Theonis. During the confrontation he confessed that he did consume the motel manager and that Daedalus triggered him. He also mentioned that they dropped the girls off at a safe house. Theonis found out from Annie that she has a son and is heading to Daedalus to get him back. Theonis was holding his own against Shane until Annie got involved. Sirens were drawing near and he threaten to kill them if I continued to try to stop them. So I retreated and got Theonis healed. I got together with Kodak and confirmed what Shane mentioned". She showed the clip of the Daedalous agents attacking Shane."

"I was able to locate the safehouse Shane mentioned. Unfortunately there were troops from Daedalous there. I had to call for back up. I went in and took out some of the soldiers. Then there was Freya I barely could hold my own against her. There was a tree that came to my aid. I had to channel my ki energy toward healing. Theonis came and took care of some of the Daedalous soldiers. After I felt I heald enough I went after Freya and did my best to save the tree but... Couldn't save it. For some reason Freya stopped and retreated I guess she was looking for something that they couldn't find. I saw the girls but they were protected by the metas there and escaped while I was confronting them. I couldn't hold it together any more and Theonis brought me back."

"When I woke up I found out that there was a situation. Orion seemed to be sealing himself in the waiting room of the medical facility, holding Kerana hostage. I handled the situation and got Kerana out of there and Orion and his brother to their room."

"After that I grabbed lunch with Theonis. I was beginning to wonder if you could track Annie's suit. There may be a chance they've reached Daedalous. If that so this may be my only chance to rescue Kerana's parents."

"Eventually yeah but not right away. Need to master of my powers first." Theonis replied as he started to fill out some papers. He decided to go with his normal name not his full name.

"So how does this work? I get a random room or something? Because I don't have any preferences regarding that."

"You know what? A movie actually sounds good now. I'd like to get away from real life for a bit." Deora said.

Ray sits in his chair behind the desk and takes a sip of his drink. He sets the drink down on a wooden cork coaster and takes the notebook. He quickly snaps a picture of it with his phone and forwards it to one of his assistants.

He looks over to Jeze and says, "Well the most obvious answer would be to get into good graces with your parents. After all they are worthwhile colleagues to have, and having them owe me a favor could be greatly beneficial to me later down the line."

"However, what I want isn't quite so obvious. I think we have something mutual to gain my dear Jezebel. Namely, having a certain battle armor inhabiting ghost off of our backs."

She paused. She had a feeling that that was what this was about. Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest. "I'll have to wipe Lia's memories again. At this point she;s so close to Shane, I doubt she would do anything to hurt him. We'll have to move quickly, while Shane is still busy with Deadalus. He'd do anything to stop us if he finds out."

"Yeah," Ako said as he placed food on his plate. "I was waiting so I could eat with you." He gave her a quick smile before going back to picking out food. Or Gidget. A voice in his head added. He'd never been able to rid himself of that voice of doubt, he was only able to suppress it. And in this case, he had to admit he agreed with it. He'd always thought of Gidget as a little sister, but he hadn't seen her in over ten years, and he had to admit she'd matured a lot in that time. Or at least, she appeared to. He was snapped away from this thought as he got to the end of the line, a bit surprised to not find a cashier. Apparently the food really was free.

Tansy smiled and blushed softly. She picked out her food in silence and looked down at her tray. She turned back to him, her cheeks slightly flushed, her bottom lip caught between her teeth. She looked at him for a moment, before she broke out into a smile, then frowned. "I'm....I'm sorry."

Justine couldn't help but feel slightly over whelmed as she made her way down the street. The hustle of down town had always helped her to see better, but now with having her sight back, it was honestly a little crazy. Despite that, she was actually rather happy. She had bought a pair of sunglasses from a street vendor earlier to help hide her new eyes when she went into the Police Station. If she walked in showing off a new pair of eyes, they would all be to busy asking her questions for her to get what she needed. Besides, she wasn't sure if she was ready to explain all of that. Or how well some of the officers would take it. It was better this way. She ascended the stair case and open the doors,walking inside confidentially. Even when she was 'blind' she was able to find her way around the building with ease. She had worked there so long she barely had any trouble.

She smiled at the sound of welcome from her old partners and friends. "Hey, is Eddy in?"
"Yeah, he's back in his office."
"Thanks Susan." Justine smiled as she turned and moved towards the back offices.

"Don't be." Ako said, without even knowing for sure what she was apologizing for. As far as he was concerned, she hadn't done anything to apologize for. She could probably do no wrong in his eyes.

Gidget leaned back into her chair and took it all in. "I didn't put a tracking device into Annie's suit. Even if I did, we wouldn't do anything. My God Trinity, do you know what you were risking by attacking Shane? Even if you had Theonis' help, you're both made of flesh. The only reason I was able to take him down was because I'm the way I am. Don't you ever go after him without me again. Especially now since he will no doubt consume several dozen soldiers. He may get lucky and find one with martial arts skills that rival yours. Or worse, if they decide to sic Freya on him and he manages to consume her."

"So Annie has a little boy. In that case we wont have to worry about going into Daedalus to bust out Kerana's parents. She'll make sure it happens. Shane may be corrupt, but he's not all bad yet. If she asks, he will probably oblige her."

"A safehouse with a big tree. You must mean Matron. She was one of the oldest Meta's still alive. If Daedalus has Freya under their control, then we are going to have to come up with another plan. Can you contact her brother?"
