Ok, here's some more movie news.
Screen Rant The major casting news came just over a week ago when it was confirmed that Watchmen star Jackie Earle Haley will be playing the infamous Freddy Krueger in the remake. Adding to the cast, Thomas Dekker who plays John Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is reportedly in final negotiations to play the role of Jesse in A Nightmare on Elm Street. According to ShockTillYouDrop! who broke the news, the Jesse character is “a jock on the swim team.” Dekker would be the second young TV actor added to the cast which already includes Kyle Gallner. Gallner’s had many small roles on popular television programs including Smallville (where he played Bart Allen), The Shield and CSI:NY.
Grylls and Ferrell Joins Forces on Man vs. Wild
ComingSoon.net Marking the latest adventure in Discovery Channel's long-running series "Man vs. Wild," Bear Grylls invited Actor/Comedian Will Ferrell to join him for an extreme adventure in the Swedish hinterland, it was announced today. The early June episode is tied to Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy adventure Land of the Lost, which stars Ferrell and hits movie theaters on June 5, 2009.
The Risky Biz Blog is reporting that "Transformers" franchise star Megan Fox will star as the lead in the Screen Gems border thriller The Crossing. Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi wrote the film, in which a couple returning from a Mexican vacation is carjacked and the husband kidnapped. The wife (Fox) must smuggle heroin across the border in order to spring him.
And Finally, I,Frankenstein.
ComingSoon.net Grevioux & Tatopoulos Reteam for I, Frankenstein Screenwriter and actor Kevin Grevioux, who co-created the "Underworld" franchise, will be reteaming with Patrick Tatopoulos, director of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, for a new project based on Grevioux's upcoming Darkstorm Comics series I, Frankenstein. Produced by Robert Sanchez and Chris Patton for Death Ray Films, the comic book and movie is a modernization of the Frankenstein mythos with the monster encountering other famous movie monsters in presumably violent ways. I, Frankenstein, an upcoming comic book series from Darkstorm Comics set for release later this year, brings back many beloved classic monsters including Frankenstein's Monster, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, the Invisible Man, Dracula, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde plus many more, in a re-imagined contemporary setting. "I don't know of any other projects past or present that gives you the chance, in a single movie, to re-invent the 'MOST CULT CREATURES OF ALL TIME'. All of this in a very unique, dark and stylistic world. I would never pass on such an opportunity," says Tatopoulos. Written and Created by Kevin Grevioux (Underworld Franchise, ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction), the series is a fresh and creative take on the Frankenstein mythos. Grevioux, who co-created the very successful Underworld franchise for Lakeshore Entertainment that has brought in over $285 million in worldwide box office receipts, will pen the screenplay and produce. "Frankenstein has always been one of my favorite monsters. Putting him together in an environment with other creatures of lore that I grew up watching provides me with a unique opportunity to do my own take on them," says Grevioux.

Ookami - As for the Pet Shop of Horors, it's the musical. Hollywood/Disney has brought back the musical and it's not going away anytime soon. (Across the Universe was the only good modern day one I've liked)
Aslo, haven't seen Last Unicorn or Dark Crystal, so can't answer there.
Manda, Should have contacted me on the buddy instent messenger. That's the only way I get to talk to Wolf anymore. And I see where it shows you online all the time, so it should not be that uncommon.
Also, you need to watch Bedtime Stories. It's Disney and made for kids, but really good. I still like Sandler, since he got out of that ditch Farel it still stuck in. Also, the Hanukkah Song was the best Sandler song, ever.
