The biomass scrunches down and springs at Trinity with a high pitched gurgle.

Trinity's ears picked up on the gurgle and quickly moved to the side do dodge out of its path. She backs away from it as it landed, it wasn't any random liquid, although she didn't know what the heck it was she knew that it was after her. She shook her head an heads out of the dorm. She calls Gidget on her cell. After she answers, she says in a serious tone, "Gidget we have company..."

"Wow." Deora said, honestly astonished. "When did you have time to sleep?" She asked, taking another cookie.

Gidget's HUD displays an incoming call. "Hold that thought Justine, Trinity is trying to call me."

"Hello?"

"What do you mean company? What the hell is that noise?"


The biomass slither after trinity like a little bulbous rabbit, gurgling all the while. It takes special care around shadows, making sure not to come too close to them.

Justine paused for a moment. She could hear Gigdet talking, but didn't see any other person in the room. She must have been on a phone, but she didn't hear anything ring either. She shrugged it off, thinking that it must be one of her robot things and laid back against the table as she waiting.

"It followed me... it seems to be wary of the shadows, so it knows what my power is... it looks like some sort of blob, it's causing some sort of gurgling sound. If I text a photo to you would you be able to receive it?"

Trinity kept a close eye on it. She was afraid that it had a dangerous potential despite its cute bunny shape. She hoped that perhaps she was over reacting and Gidget would probably would have a good laugh once she saw what it was.

"Yea, go ahead and send it." She examines the photo and frowns. It looks familiar, a lot like the biomass Shane produces. AS far as she knew he couldn't break off pieces of himself.

"I have no idea what that it, but if it's chasing you get away from it. It doesn't look like it wants to cuddle."

As the fleshy mass goes after Trinity, it halts for a second when it senses a small rodent in the wall. It stops and whips out part of itself like a cobra and pierces through the drywall. It retracts a rat and draws it into itself. It squeezes and writhes, then quivers as it takes she appearance of the rat. It looks up at Trinity and hisses as it's back grows a blade tipped tendril. The appendage lashes out at her.

Deora saw her reaction when mentioning her mom and felt a strong hit of empathy. "Your parents didn't take it so well, either, eh? Mine said they'd love me no matter what, but the second I showed even a hint of my power, Dad threw me out on the curb. Mom just watched, and kept my brothers from getting in the way." She reached for another cookie, but withdrew her hand. Suddenly homemade cookies weren't exactly a comfort food. Instead she crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back against the wall.

"Yeah I think you're right...What the- it ate a rat and became it" her steps could be heard as she dodged the rat's tail. " I think it's trying to do the same to me...". Trinity tried to think of a way to seal it.

Without even batting an eyelash, or interrupting her project, Gidget activates the security team for Valhalla. A pulsing 3 beat bell echoes through the facility, signifying that everyone is to go back to their rooms and remain there.

The things pattern definitely sounds like Shane's biomass, and it is disturbing her to no end trying to figure out how he did it. Gidget curses audibly. Even as old as she is, she still has no real control over her power. She is forced to stand there until the job is done.

The bio-rat screeches and rears back for another strike when it hears the klaxon and halts. Another eye appears in the back of it's head and rolls around looking for an escape route. The thing hisses at Trinity and retracts it's deadly appendage. It then turns around quickly and runs into the hole in the wall it had made a few moments ago.

Although the mass possessed some of the memories of it's creator, it is acting on a single thought. Find a powerful creature, consume, free the creator.

Several type 2 metahumans in uniforms round the bend, readying their respective projectile powers. One of them looks to Trinity, "What happened Ms. Smith?"

When the alarm went off Justine freaked out. Placing her hands over her ears to try and quite the noise, everything became fully seen for the few short second, but at the same time, everything she saw was askew and scrambled. The sound was not terribly painful, but enough to make her want to get away. She saw people enter the room, she saw everything. Simply because there was no way to shut it off. She had no control over anything. She winced and bit into her bottom lip as she tried to block out the sound.

Gidget turns her head around toward Justine, and her eyes go wide in shock. Once again she uses her internal system, except this time it is to turn off the alarm in the R&D area. "Oh my God, I am so sorry about that. I completely forgot about your heightened senses. That must have been awful."

Several type 2 metahumans in uniforms round the bend, readying their respective projectile powers. One of them looks to Trinity, "What happened Ms. Smith?"

Cool and collected she answered, "Alright guys this is going to sound weird. A blob attacked me, it ate a rat and became it, it was trying to do the same to me. I told Gidget and she sounded the alarm. It then escaped through that hole" she pointed. "We need to seal off every exit that thing has access to. Seal off all ventilation shafts, pipes and electrical outlets for this sector and for and for anything that can't be sealed stand next to it. Alright team! Go! Go! GO!"

Trinity took her position next to the hole and waited.
