Uh curries stand for all peoples hailing from the Subcontinent of non-muslim background. Basically Indians but Sri-Lankans can be counted too. They've basically stolen all of the telemarketing jobs in Australia, just as we Chinese have stolen all of the cheap manufacturing jobs. xd But we can't blame either, since we Chinese and curries are so much better than ordinary Whites. mrgreen

Our school is so ******** stupid. OMG. You know how I said we share a room with a friend in 6B? Well, apparently, NOT ANYMORE. Now, for daygirls, there's like 5 in a room and 3 in another (I'm in the 3) whereas many, many boarders get SINGLE rooms. HOW IS THAT FAIR? It always always used to be that all 6Bs (unless there's an odd number) have double rooms with either another boarder or another day girl depending.. and now there's this stupid blatant favourtism towards boarders. WHY? Just because they ******** pay more?! I am SO pissed off. And term hasn't even begun yet, I just got a call from a friend of mine who's a boarder and already back at school and who's found out. ARGH. Like, WHAT THE ********? Why have so many of us in the same room (and we don't even get beds.. just stupid plastic tables.. 6th formers used to have wooden tables) when boarders are ON THEIR OWN? The major argument against day girls and boarders sharing rooms was that it was unfair on the boarders in the evening when they'd be all alone.. well now they're all on their own anyway! ARRGH.

I suppose that's how we all felt when we found out that our year was one of the first to have to pay top up fees at uni, yet all the years before us didn't have to. So unfair.

Now your school sounds a lot more similar to most boarding schools out there. I'd never even heard of one where day pupils got their own room. Join the club. rolleyes

Yeah, we're hoping to do something about it.. well, we'll see what the explanation is first, then figure out how to make them give us proper rooms like they promised. xp

@Toki - That's not the point.. we'd be okay with it if it were necessary.. but they could easily put some of the boarders in double rooms, and if we just had two extra rooms the day girls could have doubles as well.. there are like 6 or 7 boarders in singles >__>;;

Oh gods, yeah.. the top up fees.. rolleyes it is unfair.

Hey don't you realize I can act one way to my ethnic nationality, and then another way to my resident culture? Why would I state that fact directly in the face of my friends? Besides. they're kinda of different from normal white Australians, since most of them have university degrees. Some whites are actually quite smart you know, and all of my friends belong to that type.

My birthday is ruined -_-

The 17th is my birthday and my brother was gonna take me to a wrestling show on the 16th and it was gonna be awesome. Front row seats, wrestling, the whole shabang. But he came home a few minutes ago and told me I would have to go with someone else cause his boss said he couldnt take the day off. Well, he said "I'll think about it" but you could see in his face that it was a no -_- I was looking forward to this for over a month now and when he told me, I cried. All I wanted to do it be at one of the greatest wrestling show front row with my brother and now it wont happen -_-

His boss was a 'friend' but now, I dont even know. He friggin ruined my birthday -_-
