Trinity smiled to herself at his support. She emerged from Teshoumaru's shadow wearing her green trench cloak,"I'm ready sensai." her tone was calm and collected.

Teshoumaru turns to face the woman that was once his student. "You do not have to call me that anymore. Although I believe my sister and I have scolded you on many occasions for shadow walking when you could just as easily walk. As urgent as things are, they are not dire. Anyway let us..."

He sniffs the air curiously. He looks down at Trinity and give off only the slightest hint of a smile. "Well well, and here I thought you were going to choose solitude like Freya. I am pleased to see that is not the case."

Gidget sits alone in her lab and thinks. She thinks because it's all she can do. Keeping herself entertained is the only way she has kept from going insane. Shane is a problem, but she is confident that Annie can keep him under control for a little while at least. Justine was on the case as far as Knightly goes. So Liv now Liv is her new project.

Gidget gambled by bluntly stating her intentions to Liv. Liv showed no signs of coming forward about any involvement with Daedalus. But Gidget had counted on this.

For Trinity's sake, Gidget hopes that she is just being paranoid. But she couldn't ignore the circumstances surrounded the events of the last few days. Liv shows up, and a young girl just happens to lose her power just a few hours later. Gidget doesn't believe in coincidence. The only thing keeping her from interrogating Liv is Trinity's trust in her. But then trust doesn't play into logic, but emotion. Of this Gidget has none.

She stands up and walks to her monitor display. Liv's file is brought up, and Gidget studies it. Now Liv knew of Gidget's intentions, and would be cautious from here on. Either that or she would do something to keep the attention off of her. Let her try, Gidget thinks to herself, the game of chess begins now.

She took a deep breath, she did hope that wearing the trench cloak and shadow traveling would diminish any sign of him as well but there was no use in denying that. Then again she wasn't thinking of her sensai when she saw Theonis, the train of thought stopped there for the moment she saw him.

She turned around facing Teshou, her eyes were glowing as she explained, "I was still doing my job and good thing too. One of the staff was trying to use her pheromones on him to take advantage. I had to act. As for the relationship...just hope it lasts this time. The job keeps getting in the way of things...it has in the past but lives are too important to me that I couldn't give it up...I couldn't live with myself with such a decision..."

Liv knew that she might be a bit in over her head in a game of wits against Gidget. Liv who, admitting so herself, is not as smart as she likes to be. However she can be quite cunning and always gets what she wants. Liv prefers to do this without blowing her cover. That is if she decides to go through with it.

Teshoumaru lays an easy hand on Trinity's shoulder and speaks reassuringly to her.

"Be at ease. You are more than entitled to sharing your life with someone. You are not born into a life of death as Freya and I are. Your time of peace will come, and you can be with him. And I will not keep you here longer then necessary."

"Now, on to business." Teshoumaru removes his hand from Trinity's shoulder and takes a few steps back. He removes his blade from the saya on his back and asks, "When you think of your shadow, do you see it as a tool or an extension of your body?"

Trinity took comfort in Teshou's words, her eyes dimmed their glow. She sees her sensei draw and thought Let the training begin. she heard his query and started to wonderHow do I use my shadow?... Well, I definitely use it for inventory, getting places... but I've also used it to grab things, move things where they need to be...and on occasion shift into things I need...

"I have seen it as both but for the most part, I'd say a tool."

Teshoumaru nods his head. He had figured she'd say that. His arm raises level to the ground, the blade following his motion. "The samurai believe that the sword is a connection to their very soul. Shinobi beliefs are not so different from them. To use this weapon effectively, I must treat it like it is a part of me. This is not a sword, but an extension of my will. Without me, it is nothing. But in my grasp, it becomes a conduit of my intentions."

"Our connection to shadows is even more in depth. They move with us, not the other way around. With a tool, like a hammer, we are limited by what it's intended purpose is, to strike. Our shadows are malleable, able to take whatever shape our mind can conceive."

"The key to the Genkido Tengoku is to take this connection to the next level. In all of us, we have a base desire. This desire is what shapes our actions and relationships, with people and nature itself."

Teshoumaru walks over to a rack of medicine balls and takes one off of the rack. He places it on the ground and holds his sword in front of him. With his left hand he makes nine different hand signs. He dips the tip of his blade into his shadow, commanding it to creep up to the hilt. Soon the blade is consumed by the shadow. He pulls it out and very slowly presses the blunt end against the medicine ball. The part of the ball that comes into contact with the blade seems to become erased as it passes through. The ball splits in half and both sidles topple over. He holds his left hand over the left half of the ball, making a shadow over it. He barely touches the shadow of his hand with his blade. Almost instantly the part of the ball that is covered by his shadow vanishes, leaving behind a cut in the shape of his hand.

He raises his left hand again, making another hand sign. The shadow on his blade oozes off and back into his shadow. He returns the sword to it's saya in one fluid motion and says. "I desire discipline and respect. I am order and control. The shadow does as I command it, as do the shadows it comes into contact with. Tengoku Kage kiri, Heaven's shadow blade. This is my form of Genkido Tengoku."

"So, it's different for every shadow meta?" She approached the medicine ball with his hand print through it. It was quite the impact.

"Yes and no. This is a technique that was developed by my grandfather. Neither he nor my father possessed our power. But for Freya and I it is a method of obtaining complete control of our power without the limitations of contact or surface area."

"Freya's version of it is of the opposite pole. She desires freedom and enjoyment. She is chaos and anarchy. The shadow gives her free reign over an area, but not to those who are trapped within it. Tengoku okami keimusho, Heaven's wolf prison."

"First, she summons Okami by her side. Then using a mind link they both perform the hand signs I did a moment ago. The difference is that they use both hands, and use both of their shadows. This doubles the output of ki and allows them to coat an area with their shadows. The shadow cannot be used by anyone but them, and they have free reign over what happens within the darkness. The time I was caught in it, Okami leapt from one end of the room to the other like a cartoon hallway of doors while attacking me. At the same time I had to avoid Freya, her shadow weapons, and her melee attacks."

"I was hesitant to teach you this technique at first. The required amount of ki needed to keep the shadow adhered to my blade, or coat a room with shadows can be fatal. Even now I am fighting the need to sit down and rest for a bit with what little I did. The attack has to be swift and precise like Heaven's wrath."

"So it has come to this, that you must learn the technique to at the very least disable Freya for a moment. And it begins with you. What is it that you desire Trinity?"

Trinity wanted to simply say 'Theonis' but she knew she had to go deeper than that. There was one thing she always strived for, the one thing that lead her to the position as head of security, and the one thing that she felt she owed her parents. "The one thing I desire most is to protect those who can't protect themselves. Especially, the ones I love." her eyes glow as she said this she felt very stongly about it.

Teshoumaru says, "I expected you to say that. You desire to protect others, and devote yourself to their needs. You are love and loyalty."

"Now you need a conduit. Your skill is such that you don't need to create hand signs as Freya and I do. Your ki will be pouring fourth from your body as the technique is used, and you need a way to bring forth this immense power almost all at once."

"A conduit eh?...I don't know, how would we figure that out if my power is mostly based on thought and concentration." She decided to draw her glaive from the shadow, its design is based on her ancestor's Gidget did a mighty fine job assembling it. "I'm not sure, but... I thought it could help..."

After his short quest for some proper clothes, he went to test something. Being increasingly aware of this since he started using his powers more and more, he decided to test if he really had an exponential learning curve. Having found a computer he could test this. While not a wizkid he knew his way around a computer. Thanks to the slight gaming addiction he had.

He found a lot of information on the intra-web. He also found what he hated. Math...But this was the perfect subject for him to test his theory. He had never been good at it. After a few quick problems to refresh his memory, he already found that it was easier to solve them then it was at college. After reading the theory about the harder questions a couple of times, he tried to solve them. To be honest it took some effort but he managed to do what he couldn't before. But when he checked the answers he discovered that he had half of em wrong. Reading the theory again he tried a new set of problems. This time it went a lot faster than before. Apparently his mind had corrected his wrong way of thinking. He could feel himself get smarter.

Theonis began to laugh in anticipation and also at the realization of what he could do with this. He stepped up his game attempting mathematical problems that he could never ever solve before even if he did have all the help of the world. With trail and error he got it right.

"Oh hell yeah...I am amazing!" He said to himself. Not giving allowing this feeling to end, he decided to continue with physics.

"Yeah," Deora agreed, "But that song's going to be stuck in my head for the next few days."

Even now, she could hear "I Like To Move It" echoing in her head, and while she thought the movie was meant for kids, she was pleasantly surprised to see a few jokes for the grown-ups thrown in, too. While she wouldn't be holding her breath to get a copy for herself, she was happy to have watched it with Kerana. As she stood and stretched, feeling stiff from sitting still for that long, she asked, "So, what do we do now?"
