More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Deora did her best to contain her excitement. She'd been wanting to visit the training center all day, eager to see what they could offer her. She was hesitant now, though. Would it really be as much fun if she knew Kerana was waiting on the sidelines, bored? "What would you do while I trained, though?" She asked.

"A conduit eh?...I don't know, how would we figure that out if my power is mostly based on thought and concentration." She decided to draw her glaive from the shadow, its design is based on her ancestor's Gidget did a mighty fine job assembling it. "I'm not sure, but... I thought it could help..."

Teshoumaru looks the weapon over and ponders for a moment before asking, "I've seen that somewhere. Is that a replica of the blade your ancestor used? I don't suppose it contains any of the components from the original?"

"I'm afraid it's just a replica. As far as I know I don't think Gidget was able to find anything from the original. But I could be wrong there." she shrugged. "However, this charm I wear around my neck. This has been passed down directly from my ancestor. My parents gave it to me as a graduation gift." she paused at the moment remembering that day. That's all she has left of them now...memories.

"I'm afraid it's just a replica. As far as I know I don't think Gidget was able to find anything from the original. But I could be wrong there." she shrugged. Teshoumaru's eyes widen slightly at the sight of the jewel. He raises his hand and gently places his index finger on the jewel. "This will be your conduit. My blade is a symbol of control, Freya's hands are freedom, and your love is symbolized by that jewel."

"Now comes the difficult, dangerous, and most crucial part of executing the technique. We will handle it in three parts, so as to minimize the potential danger. Because you don't have to make hand signs to focus your ki, you will be using that jewel as a focal point. Clasp the jewel tightly and focus. You will have attained proper focus when the jewel feels like a beating heart in the palm of your hand."

Trinity let go of her glaive and let it sink in her shadow. She took the charm and held it in her hand. She concentrated all her ki into the charm. It took a while, she started to feel drained of energy. She dropped down to her knees, then there it was. It was faint and distant at first, she couldn't tell what it was at first then it became louder. It was the sound of a heart beat the jewel became red instead of the green it once was. She was breathing slowly and maintaining her concentration,"Okay... I got it..."

Teshoumaru makes the first three hand signs of the technique as he speaks.

"Focus is the first step, the first three hand signs do this for my sister and I. The second step is flow. Focusing all of your ki into the jewel has made you tired, as it should. It will continue to drain your ki until you sync your heartbeat to the one you feel in the jewel."

"To do this focus not on the ki within the jewel, but the pulse you feel within it. Breath steadily, either quickening your pulse or slowing it down with your breathing. You'll know you've accomplished a proper sync when you start to feel the ki flow into you and out. The sensation will be feel much like your entire body is breathing, giving your ki to the jewel, and then taking it back."

It took a while to concentrate on both pulses. Once she got to a point where she could sense both of them she started syncing her heart beat with the rythem inside the jewel. Gradually she could feel the ki going in and out of her body she could feel a lot more around her.

Teshoumaru makes three more hand signs, different from the first set. "You should start to feel the stress of focus dissipate. The flow of ki going through your body is now starting to collect and become one with the ki that grants you life. Focus and flow need to happen almost on top of each other. The more time between the two of them, the longer it takes to execute the last part of the technique: giving your desire form. We will save this portion of the training for another time."

"You have your desire in mind, but you need to think about how you want to shape that desire. Your shadow will become this shape. Once you have found this, come back to me. I advise you to take your time and meditate on this. If you are unsure your ki will empty itself at an uncontrollable rate, resulting in your death. For now, be with your loved one. Since your desire stems from feelings of peace, being with him may expedite your thoughts and bring about an epiphany."

Trinity heard Teshou's voice and slowed things down. Her ki return to her, her jewel returned to its normal coloring. She opened her eyes, "Thank you Teshou I will let you know as soon as I figure it out. I hope I figure it out soon. Time is not a luxury is it?"

Teshoumaru waves his hand dismissively. "Though it may not be a luxury, it should not be a concern. A bridge can only be crossed once it is approached. When the time comes, you will know."

"I hope it comes when we need it..." she let out a tired sigh she felt that she learned a lot quickly. She looked at her watch and it's usually the time she would clock out. Granted she still felt she needed to update Gidget before she could see Theonis, heck probably tell her about him. She walked over to Gidget, "Hi Gidget just have a minor update."

Gidget had been mulling over several computer screens. Each one has an image or document concerning Daedalus, Liv, or any events involving a metahuman losing their power. She turns in her seat to face Trinity. "That was fast. What have you got for me?"

"I got far but haven't learned the the technique fully. The last part is one I have to find out on my own. I just hope I figure it out in time.". She noticed what was on the screens,"So you're still suspicious of Liv huh? I do admit she did sound suspiciously certain of Erica's condition."
