Courtyard (North)

Having not the energy to continue further than the nearest parapet, Sonneillon sighed and tossed his bag beside one. He crawled on top and used his hand as a pillow, keeping his face off of the concrete slap. His light bluish hair fell over his face as his light blue, snake-like eyes closed. Sonneillon let out a large yawn as he clapped his lips together, making a very irritating noise. One of his large, black, leathery wings fell over him as a blanket. "Sleepy, sleepy..." he muttered, falling asleep almost instantly.

Iti was in her usual spot, high above the world (sort of) on one of the courtyard walls reading her book away from other people. Her parents often referred to this as her ‘bad habit’ but she didn’t care; if she was going to read a book she was going to do it away from other people. As she read she didn’t noticed the boy who had climbed up the wall near her to sleep so when she finally took her nose out of the book she got a bit of a shock.

“Oh my…,” she cried out startled, nearly knocking herself off the wall.

Undisturbed in his slumber, even with the sudden noise made by Iti, Sonneillon managed to roll over, even on the high parapet. It was miraculous how the kid slept. Whether it was his ability to drown out every possible noise, or sleeping for days without end. His hair stuck to the side of his face as he snored quietly, drool proceeding to come out of the corner of his lip. Without so mucha s a stir, he licked up the drool and continued in his slumber. Periodically he would mumble, "Sleepy, sleepy..."

After collecting herself from her near fall, Iti just started at the sleeping boy and wondered how it was that he could still possible be asleep. She watched him for a minute until he started snoring, which was about the point she was considering leaving her spot since it was much too noisy now. Then she caught the drool out of the corner of her eye and froze; she watched it drop, hinting at dropping, until he licked it up without a thought. The action was appalling and severely grossed her out.

Not so gently, Iti shoved on his shoulder, “Do you mind?”

Sonneillon had barely felt the shove, but she had shoved hard enough for him to propell off the parapet. He landed roughly and rubbed his forehead. "Gah. Dang, that fuggin hurt," he muttered to himself, brushing his hair out of his eyes. Finally standing up, he looked at the girl that had pushed him. "I'm sorry, miss. I didn't mean to interupt you. My dorm room was just too far away for me," he said, rambling a bit. Even talking was too tiring for him. Another yawn broke his silence as he scratched the back of his head. "I'll just go sleep over there," he mumbled, salutting slightly and walking over to another parapet slowly.

What the hell was wrong with this kid? Iti understood wanting to take a nap out on a sunny day, but it was hardly sunny and actually looked like it was going to rain soon. Was his dorm really that far away that he couldn’t be bothered to walk there?

“Are you just the embodiment of laziness then?” she called after him, trying to rile him up. Maybe if she harassed him enough he’d go sleep in his dorm instead of snoring so loudly that she’d never get anything done.

Deftly she dropped off the parapet and walked after him, stowing her book and notes under one arm. She was perhaps a few feet behind him when she teased him again, “I don’t think that’d be far enough away. I’m surprised they can’t hear your snoring in China.”

Sonneillon knew exactly what she was trying to do, and thought it took too much energy to argue with her. His hand raised above him and he did a slight wave to her. "If laziness had a body, that body would be I," he muttered, crawling onto the parapet. Instead of sleeping, he merely looked down at the girl and grinned. "Well, they'd be waking up about this time anyway. What if I'm their alarm clock?" he joked, turning his body around into a laying down position.

He was frustrating, that was for sure. Leaving her books down on the ground she crawled up next to him, intent on bugging him and not letting him sleep. Iti wasn’t known to act like this but then again she hadn’t been acting like she normally would since she first arrived.

“I suppose you have a point, good sir,” she commented. “Of course how do you know they appreciate your snoring?”

Sonneillon leaned up into a sitting position. "No, the questions is, how do you know they do not?" he said, smirking a bit. His wings stretched a bit as Sonneillon yawned quietly. A small bead of cold sweat ran down his spine as he looked at the girl. All I wanted was a nap. This is so not worth the trouble. Deciding to try and finish this so he could continue his nap, Sonneillon looked her over. "I could alwasy just use a Deception art to make you not hear me..."

Iti smiled at him, but was not put off by his tactic. “No, it’s much more fun to harass you.” Feeling particularly playful she ruffled his hair up for him, which seemed to give him the appearance of having slept for awhile. Giggling she crossed her arms and winked at him. “There, all fixed. Now you look like you’ve slept for hours and you didn’t have to do all that work of actually sleeping.”

Sonneillon leaned over her shoulder, from behind her. "Ya know... I look pretty good with my hair like that," he joked, tapping her on the shoulder. A wide grin was on his face as he went back to where the other Sonneillon was. The fake disappeared and the real one just continued grinning. "Deception Arts. Rule one, don't blink," he laughed, sitting cross-legged.

The arm around her shoulder made her jump about ten feet in the air. Deception arts certainly weren’t something she was used to or had ever experienced. “Funny trick,” Iti commented flatly. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a vine hanging off the edge of the wall and gently called to it mentally. As if it were an eager pet it climbed its way up over Sonneillon’s body and wrapped itself tight around his mouth. “Two can play at that game, sir.”

Sonneillon grined inderneath the vine. This is quite fun... With a tap of the fingers on the vine, Sonneillon made the vine curl up and die. His ide grin was visible as he looked at the girl. "How I did that, shall be my secret," he said, laughing a bit to himself. Suddenly as though he had no energy left, Sonneillon fell backwards and was asleep. This time he made no snoring noise of drool.

((The vine bit was Cosmic power. Creating a vaccuum around the vine so it had no oxygen or carbon dioxide to live off of. But Sonneillon does not have the energy to last long, so he passed out. Talk to you tommorrow.))

G looked around and started to get a bit bored, he stood up and headed back to his dorm room, checking his pockets to make sure he had his keycard on him

Shadow smiled as Roxxan put his coat on him. He looked up and sighed. ~This girl knows nothing of pain.~ He picked up the feather that was at his feet and placed it in Roxxan's ear. Now Rox-san, if I'm going to get stronger then I have to learn to quit hiding. He took his coat back off and stretched his wings.((the ones in my sigg)) This was one of my secret's, and I'm still not so sure when I'm ready to tell another. I'm half demon, angel by mother and demon by father. Never knew them because they died before I could walk or talk.
