Deora_Alvarez "You may have a point there, but I don't think that's one of his powers. Wouldn't he have used it on you when he was trying to impress you, instead of giving up so easily? I think the head of security in a place like this can handle herself." Deora explained. She was about to turn back to Richard, but the anxious feeling she got from Kerana made her pause. She sighed, shaking her head in defeat. "Aye, alright, fine, I guess we could go take a look, at least see if she needs help. I don't know what we could possibly do to help, but let's go."
Richard couldn't help but notice the concern she felt for Trinity. He let out a sigh knowing he'd regret this later, "Let me see..." he looked him up and apparently he was the only Theonis in the database, Theonis Acula Richards. "According to this his room number is C666" "Alright. C'mon Deora let's go. We need to save Trinity from him!"It didn't take long for Kerana to find Theonis' place. She knocked on the door. "Hey Trnity are you in there.

Just as he pulled down her zipper he heard the knocking and the voice of a certain fox-like Meta. Instantly his mood changed.
"You have got to be kidding me......"

Trinity groaned in annoyance then glared at the door with her glowing eyes. "This better be important Kerana Carter!" She turned to Theonis and said, "Sorry" she zipped up and buckled up and smoothed out her hair opened the door to answer.
Her eyes continued to glow, and with the lighting behind her left her mostly in shadow allowing her eyes to seem to be brighter "What is it!?"

Knowing how they were around Theonis earlier they probably will say things he didn't want to hear. She looked over her shoulder for a brief moment then stepped out of the door and closed it behind her then walked across the hall leaning against the wall looking with the same level of intensity. "Go on..." her fingers were tapping her arm.

Kerana fidgeted with her fingers. Here ears were flatten feeling terrible about what she had to tell Trinity. Her tail went low and practically wrapped around her ankle. "Geez how shall I put this in the most delicate manner. I guess there's no other way around it... Theonis is a player..."

Deora had been leaning against the wall by the door, unknowingly putting herself in the spot opposite Theonis. If she'd known the only thing between them was a single wall, she no doubt would have moved away quickly. As Kerana tried to put it delicately, she rolled her eyes and shrugged herself off of the wall. "From what I can tell, that guy was going out with that angel woman until he found out it wouldn't work. I know for sure that when I left that meeting with you, Ms. Gidget, that biker guy, and the angel, he was hitting on Kerana, and tried it with me the second he saw me." Subtlety wasn't her specialty. "I don't know how you feel about him, but I know Kerana is worried, and I owe you for bringing me here. Just be careful around this guy, okay?"

Despite how pissed off she was that they interrupt what Theonis and her were doing she could tell that they had the best intentions. Before speaking another word she took a deep breath and let it out sharply. "I appreciate the concern. But I've had my heart broken enough times...
As for Theonis, I'm well aware about what happened with him and Tansy yesterday. Until we really clicked today he was my lead suspect on the possible mole from Daedalus. The Angel story would have been a perfect alliby. Both personalities aren't aware of what the other one is doing. Tansy doesn't know what went on with Angel and Theonis and Theonis didn't know about Tansy. I'm willing to bet that when Tansy came through and went to Ako, "the biker guy". He felt it was best to leave her be. At that point he attained the status of single he started flirting again.
That being the case, he's not a player. One would have to already been seeing someone and someone else at the same time. He's a flirt I give you that much but definately not a player.
He resisted a meta who could control her pheromones for pete's sake. If what we have isn't real... I don't know what is..."

Rikki Tikki Travi Normally Shane would be enamored by Annie's upbeat attitude in spite of the situation. But he is so close, after so long, to fulfilling his goal. Without saying a word he walks over to the panel and presses the keys in the order Annie described.
The door cracks open, allowing Shane to sense the multitude of force waiting on the other side for him and Annie. Shane's eyes widen as he grabs her arm and swings her behind one of the doors with him just as the bullets start flying.
Shane slams his fist into the number pad, causing the doors to stop opening. He sighs with relief and says, "That's a lot more than sixty. Can you get around them, to the holding cells?"
Cracking her knuckles she said before liquifying, "I'll be able to most likely. This form has its weaknesses though... but I will be able to work around them." Her peppiness had disappeared, now. Shane was right that was a whole lot more than sixty. Getting around them wouldn't be easy.(OOC: sorry for the slow post, when school isn't going on it is hard for me to get online. I am back at school now so I should be able to post regularly).

mc2 Annie slammed into the wall at the force of Shane's grab. She caught her breath- one she didn't even realize she was holding in anticipation. She took a deep breath evaluating the little bit of the scene that she had seen.
Cracking her knuckles she said before liquifying, "I'll be able to most likely. This form has its weaknesses though... but I will be able to work around them." Her peppiness had disappeared, now. Shane was right that was a whole lot more than sixty. Getting around them wouldn't be easy.
"I'll distract them. That will give you an opportunity to slip by them unnoticed. Free the first group of metahumans as soon as you can. When they start roughing up the place I'll make my escape and try to release as many as I can on the way to the restricted cryo ward. That is most likely where Gidget is."
His flesh slithers and crawls as it envelopes his clothing. It turns black and hardens as he looks into Annie's eyes with his own blank eyes. Though they are without pupils, they still exude what is left of his humanity and compassion. He says quickly and sincerely before his mouth is covered by the carapace, "I'd say not to do anything reckless, but it wouldn't do any good with you. Just...be careful."

Rikki Tikki Travi Shane thinks for a moment. The idea of snatching and consuming one of the guards crosses his mind, but he then realizes doing so at that very moment wouldn't do much good. They will suspect someone who got singled out to be him. He will have to do it amidst the chaos.

mc2 As Shane changed Annie itched to hug him, but the shift happened quicker than she could move. She forced a smile and nodded at Shane's words about her not doing anything reckless and for her to be careful. Shane was right, Annie was reckless: it was in her nature. She was reckless in joining with Shane to save Gidget and take down Daedalus, especially after getting her son- her claimed only objective- back.
Her eyes glanced away from him as she evaluated her own actions. She was one of those girls who'd do anything for the man she loved: it was pathetic. Taking a deep breath she said, "I am ready when you are." In a swift movement her liquid body splashed into a puddle on the floor. As she shifted she reminded herself that it wasn't just because of Shane she stayed: she also stayed to get her revenge and release the captured meta-humans.

Rikki Tikki Travi Shane takes a deep breath. He closes his eyes for a moment as he musters up the gumption to go headfirst into danger. The gunfire stops so they can reload, and Shane's eyes snap open. Gone is the softness and compassion that were in them just seconds ago. Now they are cold and furious, burning with the desire to kill and feed.
He clenches his fists. With a quick motion his fingers become foot long talons. A low, slithering growl works it's way up from his throat. He turns the corner into the corridor and throws himself at the large force waiting for him, crying out in rage.
Small rounds bounce off of his armor, while the larger ones begin to slowly chip away at it. He slashes, stabs, kicks, and consumes whoever he can reach. All the while they keep on coming. He grabs hold of one guard and throws him into a group. The others get the hint and start to spread out, making themselves harder to kill. Shane's left arm widens and becomes more dense as it takes the shape of a shield. His right arm changes into a blade as he grunts in pain. Each chip off of his armor is a chip of him, and he's starting to feel it. He cries out again charging in with the shield. He hopes Annie can get the first group out quickly.
There five guards are gathered patrolling cage after cage of meta-humans. There had to be at least thirty meta-humans in captivity behind steel bars. No super strength metas here or any who had gifts similar to Annie's: steel would corrode in no time using flourosulphuric acid. She evaluated whether to take the guards or the bars on the cages and decided to free the meta-humans first and then worry about the guards when she had some back up. She already killed two and was using energy fast- freeing this many meta-humans using her abilities was only going to tire her out faster.
As the guards patrolled one stopped at the cage of a meta-human who could control fire. In front of his eyes steel bars were beginning to disappear. The guard cursed and shouted out, "She's here! The acid controlling woman is here!"
Annie shifted into a more human form remaining in liquid form; however, and said, "I'm not the only one you have to worry about..." Gun shots began to ring out and their guns litterally exploded in the guards' hands as the pyro took advantage of the sparks made by the firing of the gun. A dozen other meta humans who were in steel prisons made their way out of their cages and began to attack the guards. The pyro shouted at Annie, "Go on and free the rest of them. My wife is in the second level down- she can control metal."

The guard readies another rocket just as Shane's tentacle barb lances through his chest. He is yanked forward and forced into Shane's starving. biomass. Shane's vision clears a bit with the fresh blood in him. He can see that he will have to push himself again because now the flamethrowers are rounding the bend.
He lashes out with the tentacle again, this time horizontally like a whip. Several heads come off, but the taller guards are caught up in it. The tentacle wraps around the few guards and reels them in while crushing them. Again more men fall victim to Shane's twisted body.
Shane leaps as the flames start to fly at him. His flesh reels like frightened cockroaches at the heat. He can feel the excess biomass starting to gather in his arms, bulging and quivering like a water balloon ready to burst.
As Shane lands he throws his arms into the ground beneath him. The ground trembles for only a second before the nightmarish pikes burst through the ground, retract almost as quickly as they came, and erupt again in a wave away from Shane.
The guards don't know what hit them. They are impaled and dropped before they can ask why the ground was shaking. There is screaming, blood, destruction, and then silence.
Shane slowly pulls his arms out of the ground and sits down with his arms on his knees. The carapace pulls back from him. He breathes heavily as his biomass works to repair his burns. His relief is short lived, though, as the walls on the side open up. His looks up to see two mechs the size of elephants walk out of the walls and stomp toward him with weapons drawn.
As the weapons hum with life, warming up, he can only mutter, "Her designs were better."
