Courtyard (South)

Keilantra heard a voice and turned her head in curiousity.The map emidetlly fell down.She glanced back at it but then turned to the girl.She was so shocked someone accualy talked to her.She nervously responeded, though she trusted people easily all she had seen so far was humans she didn't quite know how to act around another demon."I-I uh..dont excactly h-hate them....they just bug me sometimes...."She bowed her head pretending to look at her map.

Karin actually flinched at his words, then very slowly set the dagger back in the grass, just in front of his hand. She didn't understand why he was doing that, soaking his hand in his own blood. It was so strange and... She shivered slightly, then drew her legs to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. Her ears were drooping sadly against her head. She knew why she had overreacted like that, but she knew he didn't, and she still did not wish to explain. She would have thought it'd be fairly obvious, since he knew about her past and all the fights. He himself had a horrible one as well, didn't he? Yet, maybe that was why he didn't mind hurting himself, or the blood at all.

She bit her lip as she glanced at him one more time, and then shifted slightly to face Kana. "What's... that you have there?" she asked softly, offering a weak smile. She saw the girl was upset about interrupting, and also confused about what was going on, and she didn't want to worry her. "A butterfly? How'd you catch it?"

A slight smile crossed her lips and her eyes brightend a bit, she hadn't known that there were non-humans like herself here, maybe this place wouldn't be too bad. She got up and walked over towards the girl and sat down hugging her knees.

"They can be pretty annoying at times, but some aren't so bad....and then again, some are worse" she smiled slightly and looked down at the girl's map. This place is 'freakin huge....note to self, stick with Kanako....she's a living GPS.

"Maybe I should've grabbed a map.....by the way, my name's Ismaire, er....Rosalin; Ismaire Rosalin."

Kana watched them silently, in utter confusion. She heard the wolf speak and then let her eyes flick to Karin to see her ears droop and she hug herself for comfort. Kana's own ears drooped in response. She hated seeing anyone upset or- she glanced at Suka's hands -hurt either. She blinked as Karin spoke to her and stared blankly for a second before realizing she was trying to cheer up, or something... Kana instantly smiled brightly, holding her hand out proudly. "It's a butterfly!" she declared triumphantly, showing off the blue and black insect which still sat on her flat palm. "The second one I've caught today!" Her ears were perked again, tail flicking in excitement. "I just pounced and caught it in my hands!"

Suka pulled up his hand about a centimeter off of the gorund and his fingers hovered over the grass to his dagger. He decided to respect that Karin did not like himdoing what he had been, and the blood that his hand was drenched in was absorbed into his wounds before he picked up the dagger. The cuts healed themselves like that and he only twirled the dagger in the palm of his hand as he had done before. He kept silent again as Kana explained about her butterfl and a weak smile crept on his face...one smaller then the one before and though still evident. He smiled at how happy she was to have caught the butterfly...

Keilantra looked over at the girl and smiled slighty.She gave up looking at the map and closed her eyes.Her ears twitched abit and something flashed in her head.Thats weird....GPS...why am I thinking about that...?She shook her head then heard you introduce yourself.She opened her eyes and introduced herself.

"Uh...Keilantra....er, Denise really but...I like being called by my last name."

Karin glanced back over towards Suka, eyes widening as she saw the blood seem to move right back into his hand, and the cuts healing themselves shortly after. Now she felt even worse. If she'd known it was so easy to heal himself again, then maybe she wouldn't have freaked out so much! But, right after that thought she realized that was not the case at all. No matter what, seeing him cut himself would always bother her.

She turned back and summoned a warm smile for Kana. "That's wonderful!" she cried. "I'm really impressed. I haven't managed to catch a butterfly in a very long time." She smiled at her, knowing she hadn't even tried catching one since she was a child, and she was rather treating Kana as one as well, but the girl never seemed to mind. She seemed to enjoy any bit of praise she recieved. But she was also very gullible and that why Karin worried about her so often.  

[Queen Ismaire]

"Nice to meet you Keilantra, are you new here too?" she questioned and then stopped to think the situation over. She was making friendly conversation, with another member of her kind for the first time in her life. She could find other Demon's here maybe....and they could tell her more about her mysterious powers.

She looked down at the pendent that hung from a black ribbon around her neck, besides her name and her guns, it was the only thing her true parents had ever left her.

Kana stared in awe as the wolf healed himself, then blinked at him several times. A smile spread across her face as she saw his, however faint. "Oh!" she cried suddenly. "I am Kana Oshiru. It's nice to meet you!" She smiled at him and then turned to face Karin. Her smile broadened into a grin as she nodded her head happily. She thrust her hand gently unwards, sending the butterfly into fly. The insect flapped its wings and soared away as Kana watched it from her grass, sitting cross legged, her arms behind her now to prop herself up. She stared curiously between the wolf and Karin, wondering what their relationship was. She did know he was a wolf, but since Karin seemed fine around him, she decided he must not be bad, though seeing he was bleeding a moment before had made her a bit nervous.

"Nice to meet you too, Ismaire...unfortunitly yes I'm new..."Wait am I accualy talking to someone?I wonder how many other demons there are at this school...A bag layed next to Keilantra and it moved slighty.I glared my eyes at it, I knew what was in it but i wasn't about to expose it.I tucked my legs under and looked over at you."Have any idea where we are?"

Suka looked over and up at Kana as Karin had praised her and he still kept silent afterward. HE hadnothing to say to any of this and he did not know the girl that Karin was tlaking about well enough to try and say something about any of it in the first place. He'd learned from Yuri that it was good to keep quiet sometimes...having nothing to say was never a bad thing. He twirled it in his hand like that and thought about how long it would take him to try and get as good with what he'd been attempting before Karin yelled at him to make him stop. He did not reply to Kana...though that was because he was lost in his own thoughts at the time she'd introduced herself.

Ismaire heard the girl asking her a question, which pulled her out of her daydream of the pendent. She thought over what Kanako had said earlier about the courtyard before class this morning.

"I think this is the South end of the Central Courtyard, a lot of students come here to hang out between classes and enjoy the scenery; at least, that's what Kanako said".

Karin looked from Kana to Suka as the girl introduced himself but he kept silent. She quickly spoke for him before Kana could decide she was invading and leave. She sighed and then nodded towards him, still holding her knees to her chest. "This is Suka," she said softly. "He'd the first person I met when I came here. He's one of the only ones too." She smiled faintly and glanced at him once more as she saw him messing with the dagger again. "Will you stop?" she asked as she burried her face in her knees. She didn't feel like yelling or getting worked up again.

She nodded then a questioning look can apon her face."Uh...Kanako...?"Keilantra leaned back against the tree and picked up the bag carefully laying it on her lap.She stared at the bag and became in deep thought.Wonder if anyone else has one....dout they do...

His mouth grew emotionless again as he grabbed it mid-twirl and set it down in the puddle still there under his hand. He still kept silent though, and now he didnot look at nything, taking advantage of the hair in his face. He did not know what had upset Karin this tie but di not bother asking. It was a new day after all...with new people to meet and such. He looked up at Kana though this action could not be seen and his eyes were curious though the features on his face which could be seen were not...he'd surely open his mouth some time later...just not any time soon. He did not know why.
