Illusion paw heard Autumnstar's voice.. jumping slightly he looked to the green eyes. "Yes." he said, a strange emotion crept around his voice.. protection of his new mate and their kit maybe?

Daypaw heard a strange sound in the distance, and then saw Illusionpaw and Winternight come in with a fox cub as she slipped into the Medicine Cat's Den. What in the name of StarClan...? Calling out to Fallowrock, she said, "Fallowrock, Tulippaw needs your help!" As she turned out of the den, Autumnstar and Nightrunner had come in with Tulippaw. She vaguely noticed them as she herded Tulippaw into the Medicine Cat's Den, only catching part of the older cat's conversation of the fox cub being raised in ThunderClan.

Nightrunner lies down near the entrance to the warriors den and curls up into a ball.

Autumnstar nodded, "good" she murmered before turning and bounding over to the medicine cat's den to check on Tulippaw

Winternight swept her tail over Illusionpaw, "calm" she purred before laying her head back down

Daypaw didn't like waiting as she watched Fallowrock check on Tulippaw, but was happy to know that the snake didn't kill her because, of course, she was still alive. Daypaw let out a sigh of relief.
"Well, that was unpleasant." She shook herself before she padded up to her den mate.
"You could have died, Tulippaw." Daypaw stated, but had to snort at her friend's calm.
Tulippaw shrugged her shoulders. "What did you expect? Autumnstar killed the dang snake before it could do anything other than bite me." As the two of them walked to the entrance of the Medicine Cat's Den, Autumnstar came into the den.
"Hey, Autumnstar, what was all that ruckus outside?" Tulippaw's brush with death was completely forgotten at the thoughts of some excitement in the camp not involving her.

Autumnstar sighed, "Illusionpaw and Winternight found a few day old fox pup" she said sitting down, she looked at Tulippaw, "what did Fallowrock say?" she asked the two apprentices

Nightrunner soon rose and started grooming himself, thinking.

"Ooh! A fox! Oh, she said I was fine, put some herbs on my tail so it doesn't get infected, such and such. You stopped any venom from being injected into me. If not, I'd be fresh-kill." Tulippaw answered her mentor truthfully, though she could have died but she didn't.
"Don't worry, she's tellin' the truth Autumnstar. I watched the whole thing." Daypaw stepped forward, placing a tail on her den mate. "Maybe Tulippaw should rest for the remainder of the day. We could work on those fighting moves Nightrunner mentioned tomorrow." Tulippaw didn't like her friend talking about her like she was a helpless kit anymore, but she did see the reason for it. she didn't like it, but she had to deal.

Autumnstar nodded, "im glad your ok, you may take the rest of the day off but it's back to work tomorow" she said before walking to her den, she was considering a clan meeting for the night

"Okay Autumnstar." Tulippaw felt Daypaw flick her ear with the tail she had resting on her shoulders as soon as they had walked over to the Apprentices' Den.
"Phew, I thought she'd never leave. Okay, Tulippaw, we're going out tonight to hunt!" She said it in a low voice so no cat could hear her.
"We're doing what?" Tulippaw asked, confused all of a sudden.
"We're going to sneak out tonight. I didn't want either of us to get too tired today because I want to show you something in the forest without our mentors breathing down out necks." Tulippaw just shook her head, but liked this idea more and more. Sneaking out! Who woulda thought?

Illusion paw, chuckled as he felt Winternight's tail brush over him. "If you say so Winter." Turning on his side again, he curled himself around the she cat.. "It's cold." he muttered, trying to buy a reason for his behavior.

Lightblossom watched as Illusion ran from camp with the cub in his jaws. She was about to get up and try to pursuade him to come back when she saw Winternight chase after him. Lightblossom purred. "They'll be a cute couple," she mewed to herself, hapy that her friend Illusion could find someone special. Lightblossom stood up and stretched, then padded over to the Warriors' Den. She curled up in her nest, feeling special because she was the first ThunderClan cat to meet Illusion. She still refused to call him 'IllusionPAW'. Lightblossom chuckled to herself, then soon fell asleep.

Nightrunner perked his ears and walked over to his young apprentice. "who is sneaking off where tonight?"

Tulippaw jumped at Nightrunner's appearance; Daypaw, not so much."What? Sneaking out? Huh?"
Daypaw sighed. "What she means Nightrunner is that right now she'd be in no shape to sneak out. At the moment." Daypaw didn't like dodging her mentor's question, but she wanted to show Tulippaw the place before she got the guts to show him. The place was important to her and she wanted her friend's opinion on it before Nightrunner's.

((Translation: No pursuing the subject, just follow them tonight when they sneak out of the Dirt Place to the super secret place!))

Nightrunner nods and smiles, lightly licking her head. "just behave. i dont want to lose my first apprentice"
