Courtyard (South)

[Queen Ismaire]

"Oh, Kanako's a childhood friend of mine....she's the one who dragged me to this place, I thought it was a normal human highschool at first...", her voice trailed off as she scanned her surroundings, a battle habit that she had picked up during her darker days. She shut her right eye for a minute, leaving the left one open, it didn't work anyway.

Kana blinked at Karin and then back to the one called Suka. "Um, nice to meet you..." she said uneasily. She shifted slightly in place, wishing she had that butterfly back to distract herself with. She glanced around almost nervously and then fell flat on her back, staring at the clouds. She'd decided to distract herself that way. She set one arm over her face as she gazed upwards, making images with the shapes. She saw a rabbit, a boat, and, of course, a butterfly. She grinned to herself as she did, raising one hand to trace what she saw. Her tail was flicking lazily in the grass beside her as she felt her eyes beginning to droop closed. She hadn't slept in a long while, but she remembered Shojuto's warning about sleeping in the middle of the courtyard and tried to keep herself awake.

Karin didn't raise her head for a moment as she sat perfectly still for once. Not even her tail was moving, as it had wrapped itself tightly around her waist. She sighed and after a bit longer slowly raised her head just enough so her eyes were visible. Hair covered the right again, but she gazed around with the left. She saw, almost to her surprise, that Suka had actually listened and stopped messing with the dagger.

She blinked a couple times, then murmured another small apology. "I'm sorry," she mumbled. "I always... overreact to this sort of thing." She frowned, glancing over at Kana. Then she allowed herself to flop over backwards as well, setting the top of her head gently against the top of Kana's. "What do you see?" she asked softly, watching Kana's hand as it traced out a boat.

"Oh...I was sent here to make sure nothing would...."She lowered her voice to the ground and looked down at her bag.She wanted so bad to open it but knew if she did nothing good would come of it.Her ears dropped abit and she stroked the bag.

Suka blinked as he saw her fall flat on her back, he raised his brow but then closed his eyes again. He did not know what she was doing that for and he really had no care for her reasonings at the moment either...if she was going to sleep there then he'd probably get up and leave...watching people sleep was tempting. He did not want to be tempted to sleep because if he thought about what would happen if he did end up falling asleep then being tempted to was sickening. He kept silent and emotionless in the part of his face still seen. As Karin apologized he opened his eyes in pleading manner, this wwas almost the fifth apology that he'd heard in less then ten minutes. When she fell backwards after Kana he'd let his eyes rest again and then closed them once more. He was tempted to grab the dagger again but he did not for he did not want to be told to stop again.

Ismaire's blood red gaze settled on the bag that the girl was stroaking like a newborn babe. It didn't look suspisious to her, but her curiousity wouldn't die down.

"What's in the bag?" she asked a little bluntly, she felt a strange energy coming from it now and before she knew its threat level, she wasn't gonna back down.

Kana smiled as Karin began looking as well. "Look!" she cried suddenly, glancing over at Suka. She wasn't sure if he'd even bother looking up, since he seemed kind of distant, but she was going to point it out anyway. His silence was making her nervous, but she was determined to hide it. If it was Karin's friend, she'd try her best to get along with him. "I see a wolf." She grinned and began tracing the cloud out carefully with her hand, making sure not to skip any of it by accident. Her tail was still flicking lazily as she sighed softly to herself, closing her eyes just for a moment before opening them again. Her arm all the while continued tracing the figure.

Karin didn't even glance at Suka, currently still half lost in thought as she tried to distract herself by watching Kana's actions. She grunted faintly as she shifted position slightly and then jumped in surprise as Kana suddenly shouted. "Wh-what?" she stammered, about to sit up until she realized the girl was still pointing skyward. She shook her head in amusement. Kana was always excited over the smallest things. An odd half smile came to Karin's face as she saw Kana was tracing a wolf now. She knew she was trying to get Suka to do something. Karin laughed, nodding her head. "Yes, I see it," she agreed.

In Keilantra's own dispare she had not noticed she had let her daydreams take over.She heard you speak to her about the bag and she whiped her head around to look at you.She carefully pushed the bag aside while still looking at you.Her wine colored eyes shined with fear that it would be exposed or taken.She gulped abit and tryed to swallow her fear and speak normally."I-I uh...nothing its just my books....you know everything i n-need...its j-just a bag.."She bit her lip and pushed her bag behind her back, making sure you didn't see the bag twitch slightly.

He looked up when she said that she saw a wolf and even moved his head so that it was obvious. He looked for what she was talking about and then could not find it but looked for something that would look like that from her perspective. Once he found what she was talking about he blinked and looked over it a bit longer..."It does kind of look like a wolf..." he said this but afterward he returned his eyes to the ground again...losing interest fast for some reason.

Kana nodded happily, hearing Suka agree. She scooted a bit away from Karin before suddenly jerking herself up into a sitting position. Her back was to Suka now, but she glanced over her shoulder so she could see him. "It does, doesn't it?" she grinned, nodding her head in agreement. She didn't seem to mind at all how quickly he looked back down. She was just happy he'd taken note of it at all. But a moment later she dropped back to her side, curling up on her side. Though, again the words of warning came to her and she shot back up again. "Ah! I need to go do something..." she said uncertainly as she got to her feet and began to wonder off.

Karin tilted her head slightly, glancing at Suka as she saw him looking for the wolf. She smiled faintly and then shifted a bit more as she saw Kana sit up, speak, lie back down, then jerk up again. Karin watched her in confusion at the random series of movements, which ended with Kana beginning to leave. "Um, ok..." she blinked, slowly sitting up as well now. "Take care of yourself." She watched the girl wondering away and then turned back to face Suka. She stared at him for a moment and then frowned. "If you're bored of me or something, I'll leave with her," she said bluntly.

She smiled a bit at her nervousness and she decided not to pry any farther, it wasn't her business anyway; until, she noticed the bag twitch a bit after she'd picked it up.

"The bag.....did it just, move?" she asked, her eyebrow raised a bit in curiosity.

"Nii-sama! Hurry up, I've gotta show you to the dorm! Say goodbye to your friend and come on!" Kanako smiled a bit, maybe Ismaire would fit in here after all.

Hearing Kanako call her, she rose on her feet and started to jog over. She stopped about halfway and turned around. "See ya tomorrow Keilantra, nice meeting you!" she shouted over the noise of the courtyard and waved goodbye before trotting after Kanako.

Suka blinked a couple of times looking after her when she began to move. He was uncertain of why she had gotten up and left and he looked after her as she did leave unsure of why she had left so abruptly. He'd seen her curl up and did not know if she was trying to sleep again or not but he just sat there quietly, pretending not to mind. When he heard Karin's question he stopped pretending and loooked at her through his hair. "I'm not a cat I don't lose interest so quickly as that...why would I be bored of you?" He sounded offended by her question.

Keilantra watched her leave and gave a sigh of relief.She smiled at Ismaire and waved goodbye.She looked around the coutyard and yucked her knees into her body.It was getting late now and she was trying to decide if she should leave or not.
