Karin frowned, tilting her head to the side as she waited for a reply, but she froze as she actually heard it. At first she felt angry, but then a little guilty as well. She sighed, dropping her eyes to the floor. "Well, you randomly just kind of zone out," she mumbled. "And I can't tell if it's because you're bored or not..." She paused and shook her head again, glancing back up at him. "Are you... suggesting that cats loose interest quickly?" she added, voice quieting somewhat as she hugged her legs more tightly to her chest. "...do I?" Stereotypes were horrible, but she wasn't sure if she fit that one or not. She really hoped she didnt, but now that she thought about it, she wasn't sure. But it made her feel bad to hear him say that. He seemed to look down on cats fairly often...

Suka nodded "That is what I'm suggesting...but i haven't seen you be that bad with it..." he shook his head slowly. "It's because cats become so interested so quicklythat I've noticed it..." he siad this and then moved the hair out of his eyes looking at her. He stood up and stuck his hands into his pockets looking down at her "So...do you have anything left on the to do list?" He asked of her since he had no plans left that he could think of. He had not come here for either of the two things he'd done the day before and so he hoped she'd have something she wanted to do.

Karin heaved another sigh and tilted her head back as she watched him stand. She gazed up at him for a moment, then glanced around before slowly getting to her feet as well. She stuck her hands into her pockets as well, fingering the X there once again. She paused as she realized what she was doing. It was true she was always messing with something, but that was different than easily loosing interest. It was also different than his playing with the dagger. She didn't mind when he did it before, but when he began hurting himself she couldn't take it... She shut her eyes for a moment and then glanced around. She tilted her head after a second and looked back at him. "Well, I honestly have not eaten since I got here," she began. "I don't know if you're hungy though."

Suka thought about her suggestion for a few moments before he said anything. He hadn't really thought about food...it had usually been scarce for him. "I eat when I get the chance...i don't know what there is here though..." He said this slowly and quietly because she had obviously been hungry andif he said that he was not he did not want her to be unable to eat because of it. He walked over closer to herand stood to her side as he waited for her answer.

Karin smiled at him, trying to cheer herself back up. She blinked as he approached though, staring up at him for a moment before replying. "Well..." she began, then her face turned to a grin. "I heard they have everything!" she laughed, putting extra emphasis on the last word. "It's at least worth checking out, don't you think?" She tilted her head again, hands still absently playing with the X as she watched him. She really was very hungry, as she actually hadn't eat since before even leaving to arrive here, but she wasn't going to say that aloud. If he didn't want to, she'd find time to go their later.

He blinked and then smiled "If your really interested then let's go" he said and estured for her to lead. He didn't sleep much and he did not eat much either. He ate more often then he slept though that was only because the opportunity came around more than once every month. He looked down at her with gentle eyes and suddenly was glad that some of the expressions he made were not seen earlier when his hair was in his face. He waited for her to leave for he did not kow what she was talking about...a food court or a kitchen or what.

Karin nodded her head and pointed forward. "To the dining hall!" she exclaimed, the very thought of eating seemingly giving her energy. She grinned at him, seeing he was smiling again. She felt somewhat relieved as she started moving towards the cafeteria. She'd really thought he was mad or... something, but the look in his eyes now was rather comforting. She fought back another sigh, keeping her smile in place as she practically bounced forward, glancing back every now and then just to make sure he was following.

[Next post in the dining hall tomorrow. Right now I was supposed to be in bed twenty minutes ago. >>;;]

Sarah stumbled up off the tree and took yet another look arround the south courtyard, and still found nothing to do. "Well, how boring!" he yelled quietly to herself and took another look. "I should just give up..." she whispered and walked over to the fountain, waitting for something to happen, someone to talk to at least. A breif sigh slowly came from her open mouth. She played with her hair a bit as she looked over to the water in the foutain down at her reflextion. She gazed deeply into the sparkling water. "Hmm..." She took off her gloves and touched the water, letting the area arround her fingures freeze. "Well, at least I got alittle of my energy out..." she sighed, looking at the frozen water that was quickly melting. She took out her hand and put her thick gloves back on, but still stood there, gazing, watching the ice melt.

Kaz pulled a small hunk of cheese out of his bag and started to munch on it slowly, every once in a while reaching in and grabbing a sip from his waterskin. He had arrived here and had classes, but he didn't know where to go to go for them, and he was shure that if he bothered to ask everyone would hate him throughly and he would get beaten agian...

Kana came wondering back into the courtyard, having found nothing else to do. She looked around, seeing Karin and Suka walking off and she decided not to bother them. Instead she continued to the fountain, sitting down. She sighed, staring into the water for a moment, utterly and completely bored. She glanced around curious so see what others were doing, and spotted a male eating some cheese. She blinked at him and slowly crept forward, walking on all fours out of instinct. Her ears were perked towards him in interest. She decided that last time she'd approached someone things hadn't gone so badly, so she might as well try again. She paused just a couple feet away, watching him intently as if expecting him to do something interesting. Then she blinked and leaned forward. "Hello!" she said cheerfully.

Kaz was lost in his food and sad thoughts, so when the girl came up and said hi to him he lost contol of his pain for a second, which was just long enough for a blue-green bolt of pain energy to spring out and attack the younge girl. He looked up just in time to see it closeing in on her and had no time to stop it. He quickly packed his cheese away and hid his face... he was shure to geta beating now, and he wouldnt even have time to put his armor back on.
((warning... that is PURE PAIN coming at you right now, it will hurt imiensly and can be fatal, recomendation allow a grazeing hit and roll ove in agony))

Kana watched him for a moment, head tilted lightly to one side. But her eyes widened as she saw the sudden bolt and she scrambled back quickly, throwing her arms over her head. "Kyaa!" she screamed in alarm. A sudden gust of wind sprang up from nowhere, attempting to push the bolt away. Kana wasn't even aware she was doing it, since her face was still covered. It just sprang up when she needed it. If the wind didn't block it though, she had no other means of defense to defend herself with.
