Courtyard (South)

Kaz looks at the bolt of pain flying towards this girl... things seemed to slow down for some reason. He made up his mind... he dived forward and put himself between the bolt of pain and the girl. It hit him square in the chest and shredded or burned though most of his skin. He hit the ground screaming and bleeding.

Goes with his pet flying cat Riku to find the nearest tree to sit under and meditate. Taku finds a tree and sits cross legged under it ,closes his eyes , and starts concentrating

Kana jumped out of her skin as she suddenly heard him screaming. She had no idea about the wind, or what had just happened, but from looking she gathered he'd gotten between her and the attack. She gaped at him for a moment and then dropped to her knees at his side. "Wh-what just happened?" she stammered urgently. "Are you ok!?" Her ears flattened back against her head as she saw he was bleeding, and her tail wound around her waist in fear. "I'm sorry!" she cried again. "I didn't mean to! I-I...!" She fell silent, watching him in fear and confusion.

Taku hears the screaming and decides to go check it out. He follows the sound of the screaming to find a guy garbed in black attire bleeding perfusely, with a girl kneeling next to him. "What happened here!?" he asked trying to find out how this happened.

this better not be considered a one liner please once i really get going then my posts get longer.

Kaz lie on the ground pleeding profusley, little bolts of pain shooting from his body at random. His chest was nearly distroyed, he was missing a few ribs, his flesh was melted, and his muscles were nicely cooked through. His screams were inturrupted only by him occasionally coughing up some blood.

Kana stared at him in growing horror, covering her face again as she got a clear look at his chest. She began shaking, clutching at herself as she bit her lip to keep from crying. Now wasn't the time to burst into tears... They had to do something! She looked sharply up at the new male who approached and stared at him wide eyed for a moment. Then she shook her head and jumped to her feet. "I don't know! B-but we need to get him to the hospital or something!"

She looked around frantically for a moment, then back at the screaming male on the ground. Her ears were flattened against her head, trying to block out the sound. She shuddered once, violently, and then turned back towards the other. "You have to help me carry him!" she cried urgently as she bent down again and began trying to loop the male's arm around her own shoulder. "Pl-please be ok," she whispered anxiously to him. "We're gonna take you to a hospital, ok?" Her mind was still whirrling as she still didn't know how this had happened so fast, or why he'd even attacked in the first place. All she knew was that he needed to be healed.

picks up kaz's other arm and helps kana carry him. "lead the way kana" Taku says. I dont really know my way around here your gonna have to lead me.

[Just write whatever comes to mind, as long as it's still relavent and makes sense. ^^; Posts need to be at least three lines long. Also, you don't know my character's name yet, Taku. >>;; I'll over look that for now.]

Kana nodded towards the male and slowly began helping the injured one to stand, biting her lip as she did so. She tried not to look at his injury, but the smell of burnt flesh and blood was making her sick. She tried to push it away though, her tail still wound tightly around her waist. "O-ok, let's go..." she murmured faintly as she slowly began moving foward, holding the man's arm firmly around her shoulders. He was a lot bigger than he was, but she refused to let herself fall or stumble. She felt it was her fault and was going to get him to the hospital no matter what. Perhaps if she knew how to control her power it would be a lot easier, but she wasn't going to risk it. Every time she used her power, something went wrong, and it had been proven yet again just a moment ago. So she continued moving forward, glancing at the other male every now and then as she went.

Seth slowly made his way into the Courtyard, his hair falling over his face slightly as he made his way towards the tree in the center of the Courtyard, his blade held loosely in his right hand. He never walked anywhere without it anymore.. not after the recent occurences with Scythen.. and then there was that demon.. who was still out there.

Sitting under the tree, he closed his eyes as he leaned his head back against it, his hands fallen loosely on the ground as he rested, almost appearing to fall asleep for a moment..

Tomoro quickly made her way into the Courtyard, brushing a few loose strands of hair out of her face; there was absolutely NO time to lose, and she didn't really want to be seen in Hikaru's outfits... not that she didn't like her style. It just wasn't her. Pulling her jersey down and bringing her eyepatch out of her pocket, putting it over her left eye, she made her way around the campus, wondering where it could possibly be.

It was then that she spotted it near Seth. A small frown forming on her lips, she brought her hands together softly and kneeled down on the ground, touching it with her index finger. Almost instantly, the grass around her shuffled slightly, and it seemed to gain a grasp onto the book, passing it from blade to blade of grass. After what seemed like forever, it finally came up into her possesion, and she scooped it up gratefully, whispering a few words between her teeth aimed directly at the grass.

Shrugging her shoulders, she figured he was probably asleep and decided to take a seat on a bench just for a minute or two to catch her breath.

As Seth felt the grass under him begin to move slightly, yet there was now wind.. he thought nothing of it for the time being, too tired to dwell on this, his eyes still closed as he sat under the tree. A few moments later, however, it seemed to finaly hit him.. "Tomoro!?" he called out as he opened his eyes and shot himself forwards slightly.. looking around the Courtyard, in hopes that it truly was her..

And there she was.. sat on the bench, apparently resting.. he slowly sat up, then began to make his way towards her bench, an almost baffled look over his face as he tried to understand why she had been gone for so long.. "Hi.." he said with a small smile upon finaly reaching her.. it was good to see her face again..

 

[Winny-chan]

She looked up quickly, her eyes widened slightly as she smiled lightly, bowing her head down a bit. "Oh... hey... I didn't... expect to see you here..." She said, looking down and away. Why had he woken up at that time? She hardly looked like herself, and finally mustered up the courage to look him in the eye; at least she had put her eyepatch on earlier.

"What a... coincidence..." Coming straight from the mall, she didn't even have any shopping bags to carry around... she hadn't bought anything at all, even with all of the money her mother had given her over the past few months. It WAS just an object, after all. She had hoped to buy some new clothes, though, and not walk around in Hikaru's ripped up jersey and loose pants that barely fit her... but she was trapped in a way, now.

Clutching her sketchbook close to her chest, she looked up at the sky for a moment and watched a plane go by... strange, it seemed to move faster then normal airplanes... probably a jet.
