Courtyard (South)

[Easy Isac]

Sitting down next to her, his hands to the bench as he cocked an eyebrow just slightly. She seemed to be a bit down, to say the least.. looking to her jersey and pants for a moment, this definetely wasn't her usual wear, but he didn't see this as any reason for her to possibly be acting so.. unenthusiastic..

"Yeah.. coincidence" he said as he continued to look to her as she clutched the book she held close t her, looking up to the sky as a plane passed by. "Are.. you ok?"

Shaking her head lightly, she stood up quickly, almost too happily. "I'm fine! I just... came here... quickly... and I didn't expect to see you." She then thought to herself that this might have been the wrong thing to say, it might have come out too negatively. "I mean... I'm happy I got to see you again! I missed... you..."

This wasn't her at all, trying to be happy; in fact, she had also run from the bookstore out of fear that someone might have seen her and realized that she was a full chapter in that book her father had written. Shifting her gaze back down to the ground, she moved her eyepatch over her eye as it had begun to slip, and she let out a soft sigh; what could she possibly say to gain his attention whatsoever?

"Um... how... have you been?"

Looking to her with a slightly confused look over his face as she seemed to become a bit "overjoyed" all of a sudden, though he was happy to hear that she had missed him..

"Yeah, I've.. I've been alright.. been.. missing you too.." he said to her with a soft smile. "...where have you been?" he asked after a long pause, a rather curious look over his face. Something about the way she was acting seemed to tell him something was going on that she didn't want him to know about...

 

[Winny-chan]

"Pretty good... you know Hikaru...? The one... who's really hyper? She... dragged me off to the mall. I didn't stay that long, though." Shrugging her shoulders, she tapped absent-mindedly on the bench, her sketchbook now sitting squarely on her lap.

"I... haven't really anything to do... I just planned to get my sketchbook and take a rest for a minute or two... then head back to my dorm... I really... don't like these clothes... " She said this softly... could she even tell about the book her father had written? Seth would find out someday... better not to tell him now.

It was then that she remembered what Seth had done for her a few days ago... it was all slowly coming back. "That one day... with that one guy... in the cloak... I don't know if you remember it... but thank you... for looking after me..." It was a long overdue thank you, and she had forgotten it for a while when she was out with Hikaru; now seemed like the perfect time. Pushing her bangs away from her eyepatch, she turned a light red as she looked up at him.

Seth nodded slowly towards her as she spoke, he found it a bit difficult that she would be acting so different because she didn't like the clothes she was wearing, and almost felt as if she were trieing to hide something from him.. but he quickly shrugged these thoughts off.. it had been a while since he'd seen her, he was just glad to see her again..

Smiling slightly as she thanked him, and at the light red her face turned as she looked up at him, he nodded towards her and gently pushed a few strands of her hair away from her face and behind her ear with his fingers "Don't mention it..."

The cloaked figure.. he was still out there.. Seth remembered running away from the battle to get Tomoro to flee the area.. he was now beginning to question wether that was such a good idea.. the threat was still out there.. yet he hid his true thoughts very well, simply by smiling softly and looking to her clothes "..I think you look great in those clothes" he said as he looked back up to her. Sure, she looked much better in her regular clothes.. but he wasn't about to mention that just now.

Shaking her head softly, Tomoro scooted against the back of the seat, cupping her hands together. She could tell a lie when they came out of someone... even if Seth was trying to be kind, it wasn't really working, and in fact made Tomoro feel worse; if he had to lie about her appearance, then it must have been really bad. There was nothing Tomoro wanted to do but to go back to her dorm and change right now.

For a moment she wondered if it would be okay if she took him back to her dorm... after all, she had been in his. He would get to see her room, and in exchange, she could change out of the clothes she was wearing at the moment. It seemed okay...

"If you don't mind... I really... need to change.. I just don't feel.. myself in these." She mumbled these last few words, not even sure that Seth could hear her, but without a response, she stood up and wiffed her hand in the air. "Come if you want."

Seth was a bit surprised at her invitation, and cocked an eyebrow slightly at the thought of this.. A girl's dorm..? he thought to himself.. it probably wouldn't be pretty if the other girls in the dorm happened to find a guy in their dorms... nah.. he shrugged this off and simply nodded to her invitation, following her to her dorm.

Keilantra fumbled into the courtyard tripping over a small twig.She glanced back at the twig and gave it a look.Of course she knew it was just a twig and it had no eyes....and really couldn't control where it was, but she didn't care.

Keilantra looked around the coutyard and spotted a fountain.She walked over to it, casually flicking her head back causing a few strands of hair to move out of her eyes.She gazed at the foutain and stroked her finger in the water.After doing this the water started to change color.Wait....is the water..purple?!She cauntionly snapped her hand back still gazing at the water."Whoah...."

 

[Captain Vincent]

Vincent Walked onto the courtyard grounds and surveyed the area. A few clusters of students here and there, some alone, some engaged in conversation, and an occassional reader.

I suppose I'll be the loner for now. He smiled in spite of himself and walked over to a shaded region.

He leaned up against the tree, put his hands in his pockets, and smiled at every student that passed.

Keilanttra dipped her hand in the water again.'how strange'she thought.She had never seen water accualy turn purple.One sttrand of hair fell down from behind her ear and fell into the water.

Sarah, who was watching the water, saw that it had turned purple. "Whoa! Now, who did that?" she asked and noticed the girl next to her. "Was... it you who did that?" she asked Keilanttra, her eyes wide. "I can only freeze things and have the element of ice, but I cant turn things purple! That's so awsome!" she said and looked back at the water. "My name's Sarah, what's yours?" she asked.

She hadn't even noticed the girl next to her before.She was so deep in thought as soon as she said anything Keilantra fell over.Her feet were up in the air but the rest of her was blomped against the ground.She gave a slight moan and stood up placing her hands on the edge of the fountain.In response to your many questions and comments she said."No I did not...I cant turn things purple...at least I dont think....and I'm Denise...but please call me Keilantra..."

Vincents attention drifted to the two people talking by the watre. He raised an eyebrow then smiled.

Lifting his arms up for a stretch, he folded them over and leaned against the tree once more, still smiling at every passing student.

"Oh sorry, I didn't spook ya did I? You're not hurt are ya?" she asked and smiled. "Well, its nice to meet ya!" she said and took a look arround the courtyard. "Im new here Keilantra, what about you?" she asked and noticed a boy leaning up against a tree, wondering if he was going to come up to them and talk or not, then turned back to the girl infront of her, patienly waiting for a reply.
