More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

"Plus all of the interruptions." He said with a bit of a chuckle. He took out his sushi and began to eat." But I take it this isn't an average day for you, is it?"

"Well it isn't everyday I'm up agianst both my sensai and some one of Shane's calibur." she took out her salad box and water bottle out of the to-go bag. Then she popped open the box and took out a fork she mixed things up a little then takes a bite. "Well hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad."

"Somehow....I think it will. Call it a gut feeling."

His eyes wondered across the table and stumbled upon his math. He quickly reached out for the pen that laid next to the pile and corrected an equation. Putting down the pen his attention shifted back to Trinity.

"Say, you up for some real sparring tomorrow? It..it feels like I am constantly getting stronger like my body or mind has fully accepted my powers. I want to know how fast I can learn martial arts in actual combat. And from what I can tell you are pretty damn good when it comes to that so I can't ask for a better partner." He explained.

"Well if nothing else gets in the way, sure. How about at the crack of dawn? That's when I normally get my exercise in." One side of her didn't mind it at all, since she has had experience training new troops. The other side of her is well aware of how quickly he could pick up things, she didn't want him to surpass her so quickly. Yet, the sooner he learns to fight the better he can protect himself. She decided to not let her ego get the best of her, besides there are already people out there that fear even her name because of how good she is at her job. "So your body and mind are one with your powers... you made it sound like it happen in the last 24 hours."

"Great!"

"Well the last two days I have seriously began to use my powers instead of the bare minimum.If...Shane had a natural resistance then I have a natural aptitude for it. At least that is how I see it. Just eh....don't be too rough from the start"

Trinity nodded, "No worries, we'll start with basics and go from there." Trinity mixed her salad a little and took another bite of her salad." she swallowed.

"Y'know, you may have some moves already considering how well you were doing against Shane..." she paused as she said that, then remembered what Gidget said "...yet... I shouldn't have gone after him... you got hurt pretty bad because of Annie...Gidget stressed that I don't go after him, at least not without her... She was pretty mad when I revealed that in my report:.. Y'see his power doesn't work so well against non-biological matter so in a sense she would have had an advantage... I tried contacting her but she was busy, with Angel I think... and I felt I couldn't just sit back and let it all happen..." she shook her head remembering what happened earlier.

Rikki Tikki Travi

The other metahumans within the cells look on in horror, scared that they will be next. Their minds are set at ease when Shane unlocks their cells and starts to walk toward another elevator. He calls back to them, "Head up. Help Annabella Soulsmith and the others. I must finish."

The healer turns her head at the sound of explosions from somewhere else in the building. "He's making a right mess of this place," she muttered.

Annie, now sitting up, glanced to the healer, a girl who looked to be probably around 14 with dark brown hair and worried green-hazel eyes. Annie bit her lip, worrying about Shane, "How close are you to being done?"

"Half way," replied the healer. "I may work fast but my healing isn't an immediate. Even after I finish healing you, you should rest."

"You expect me to rest with everything going on now?" Annie laughed weakly. At the sound of another explosion in the building she stood suddenly, "I don't have time to be sitting here right now."

"Wait!" Said the healer, "you are only half healed. What do you think your going to do in your current condition?"

"I feel strong enough to hold a liquid form for an hour and maybe take down a couple people," Annie replied. "That should do. You should focus on healing anyone who is worse off than I am."

The healer crossed her arms, raised a brow, but then nodded, "Fine, get yourself killed. See if I care."

"Oh, I don't think they are aiming to kill me," replied Annie. "Maim and disable me, yes. Kill, no. They have too much time vested in me. You guys work on breaking out as many other metas that you can." Tossing her auburn hair over her shoulder she ran towards the elevator, praying that the key card was still in there. Luck was on her side, as she reached the elevator, she hadn't run into any guards and the key card was still online. Pushing the button she entered the elevator and leaned against the wall taking a deep breath. The girl had given her a second chance in this battle, Annie wasn't fully healed but she honestly did feel that she could expend some energy using her powers now.

OOC: I am back... sorry for the long time between posts. I have had the worse writing block in my life about this.

"Ah well stuff happens" he simply replied " We did what we could and if Annie wasn't there then maybe we could have gotten him. But she was and I wasn't so very well prepared for it like you"

"Next time will be different." He said as he continued to eat.

The scientists in the restricted bio-stasis wing are in a frenzy. Shane can feel it from a few floors up. Fortunately for him he has consumed enough guards to know what is waiting for him now.

The elevator slows to a halt and the doors slowly open. Shane is met almost immediately by a rocket propelled grenade. Knowing that this was coming, he steps to the side and allows it to explode behind him. The guard with the launcher doesn't make it far before Shane is consuming him. Shane, using the guards memory, punches in the code to open the last door to his goal.

The scientists and technicians all stop in their tracks at the sound of the door opening. They had been furiously attempting to disconnect something, something that took a long time to disable. There is a large tube in the center of the lab, the viscous fluid within allowing little more than a hand to be seen by anyone outside of the container.

Without saying a word, without a moments hesitation, Shane consumes everyone within the lab. It doesn't take long, as none of them could possibly hide from his vision. Once he is done he approaches the container slowly and looks down at the digital display. His eyes well up with tears as he reads the name on the display aloud.

"Morris, Agatha."

"Indeed..." she took a few more bites then her bowl was empty. "Well... I guess that's, that I better mosey on out and let you rest." she stood up, put her coat back on and gathered the recyclables. Then she started heading toward the door.

"Hey hey hold up." He got up as well and escorted her to the door.

"Ya know...I'm glad today went the way it did.Don't think I would have ended up here with you if it didn't...Anyway" He gave her a kiss" Goodnight and I will see you tomorrow morning"

When Trinity had left he headed straight for the bed. The former student in him came out as he just tossed his clothes aside in the corner and flopped onto bed. For once his mind seemed to agree that it was time to rest. Too bad for him, he didn't sleep nonstop through the night. When he woke up every few hours he found out he couldn't fall asleep right away unless he tired himself out. Or his brain to be more accurate. Taking this opportunity to 'cheat' he went over various fighting styles. Just reading it while not practicing it. it seemed to do the trick as he became tired once more and drifted off to sleep

Without saying a word, without a moments hesitation, Shane consumes everyone within the lab. It doesn't take long, as none of them could possibly hide from his vision. Once he is done he approaches the container slowly and looks down at the digital display. His eyes well up with tears as he reads the name on the display aloud.

"Morris, Agatha."

The newly freed meta humans flinch as the first elevator opens. Instead of seeing Shane, they see a redheaded woman splattered some with black blood. Annie was nearly not as scary sight as Shane had been, but they were still shaken and exchanged looks as Annie stepped off the elevator. Her brown eyes regarding the scene she pressed her lips together, from the carnage she had no doubt Shane had been here. "Where did he go?" Annie asked.

A few of the meta humans pointed to the elevator Shane took. One meta human pipped up, "You... you must be Annabella Soulsmith. He told us to help you and the others."

Annie glanced at him and nodded as she walked to the next elevator, stepping over a puddle of blood, "Help the others, then. They have their hands full helping free the rest."

Not waiting for a response she stepped on the next elevator and glanced at the buttons, closing her eyes she sensed which key had the most oil from one's fingers on it and guessed that to be the button Shane pushed. Hoping, she was right she smiled slightly as the elevator opened in the bio-stasis wing. Standing with his back to her was Shane, who was standing still in front of a container containing a smaller human body.

Stepping off the elevator and onto the floor, letting the elevator close behind her, Annie bit her bottom lip: it was Gidget's body. The sick monsters of Daedalus had had her all along...

Taking a few steps forward towards Shane, Annie whispers, "So they did have her."

Shane presses a key on the digital console. A keyboard unfolds itself from the tube and presents itself to Shane. "Yes...and not one of the people I just consumed knew how to safely remove her." Shane says, his voice trembling with raw emotion. "I'm so close, but if I screw this up she'll..."

His fingers hover over the keyboard for a moment before they fall prey to Shane's nerves as well. "I can't lose her again Annie. I refuse to let that happen. My path here has been paved in blood, and I haven't a single regret. So why wont my hands stop shaking.".

When Trinity had left he headed straight for the bed.

Trinity agreed to his comments, in some ways she had hoped that he would invite her to spend the night. Yet she knows what would happen if she doesn't sleep in her lighted bed, she'd wake up somewhere else leaving Theonis alone. She had explained this to other guys but they saw it as an excuse to not spend the night with them. Trinity sighed to herself and wonder if Theonis would try to figure it out with that learning curve he has, who knows, he just might figure something out.

She started to wonder how Deora and Kerana were doing with their training. With that in mind she started heading toward the training center.
