So how are you getting on Gaia to post? Search using the computer you're on Gaia with.. try going into Control Panel --> Add/Remove programs and just deleting all the programs you haven't ever heard of or think look dodgy..

lol it's a different computer, there's one in the hallway, one in my bro's room, one in my room(dying) and an old one in the lounge for accounts and stuff.

How old is your comp, and how much vital stuff does it have on it? I would recommend a total reformat, as it looks like that comp is too late to be saved. Completely uninstall Windows and then reinstall it again. That should remove all traces of the virus.

@'elfy - Reformatting won't remove any of the files and folders etc you have on your hard drive, though. 'Cause I did it once and I actually bothered backing all my stuff up and then I realised it didn't make any difference. xp

Well it might remove any traces of the virus from the infected files. It's at least worth a try. or a more severe option is to completely replace the hard drive but not before backing up all valuable files.
