Courtyard (North)

"Yeah that would be nice," Livvy said, not at all sympathetic. "Whatever it is, it's your fault in the first place for not giving us some kind of warning." She didn't seem to care, nor did she seem sorry about yelling at Risa. Livvy always seems friendly and nice when you first meet her, and it's not that she isn't nice, but she doesn't like being lied to or have secrets kept from her. It drives her crazy, like you didn't trust her enough to tell her something. And in this case, not only had Risa kept secrets from her, she had also totally wierded her out.

Keilantra sat below a large willow tree at the far end of the courtyard.She had a small envolpe in her hands.She stroked the top of it and gazed at it with big eyes.She bit her lip abit and wrapped her hand around her locket.Giving a deep sigh she gazed around the area watching all the people, no one seemed to be near her but it didn'tt bother her much.Normally she can't stand being alone but tonight she didn't want much company.Keilantra tucked the envolope into her bag and started to pull small strands of grass from the soft earth.

Keilantra brushed a few strands of hair away from her eyes and leaned back against the truck of the tree.Putting her finger on the wood she felt all the grooves and dents.She slowly closed her eyes and pulled her leg to her chest burying her face into them.

"Rhia Rhia Rhia Rhia Rhia!"
Airah laughed as she called out her friend's name.
"Oh my God, it's really you! Whoosh, I feel dizzy now." Airah stopped in front of Rhia, panting a little. She set down her suitcase and took off her sun hat, using it as a fan. Benimaru's heart became a placid yellow, now that she had managed to slow down her thoughts and emotions.
"Well anyway, what the hell are you doing here? And oh, hello!"
Airah hadn't forgotten about the other girl with Rhia. All in a birief moment, she cocked her head a little to the side, closed her eyes and smiled, then reverted back to normal. "My name is Airah Skyraider; I'm a friend of Rhianwyn's from a while back. I'm brand spankin' new here. Pleased to meet you."
Placing her hat firmly back onto her head, she held out her hand to Txaik.
Then, afraid she has scared Txaik with her unusually excessive behaviour, she smiled awkwardly at her. Rhia was probably a little overwhelmed as well. Benimaru turned an uncertain shade of pink, and so did Airah's cheeks.  

[Konalou]

Konalou put down her pencil, finished with her report. Now, with all homework finished, the girl could relax. She took out her sketchpad and began drawing a lark in the oak across from her. Her pencil whirlled again, capturing the bird's beauty. "Ohh," she cried when the bird flew away. She stared at her unfinished drawing, unsure of what to do with it.

Okami tugged on Livvy's arm. She seemed angry so Okami told her gently, "Maybe we should give her some air to explain. It can't be entirely her fault. We both felt something was wrong about Risa. But only she will know what." She knelt down to Risa. "Risa...what are you hiding?" she frowned.

Entering the courtyard Tk sighed. His classes that day had been rough on him and he couldnt believe how often he had to switch rooms and instructors. Laying down on the grass he stared up at the clouds trying to guess what shapes the clouds apeared to be. "Hmmm that one looks kinda like a ummm frog?" He laughed realizing how childish he was being trying to classify clouds. Yet he knew that it helped him get over the nervous feeling deep in his chest. He couldnt place why he felt so bad. Homesickness? No, that couldnt be it, he didnt miss his home one bit. It had to be the fact he was surrounded by new and different things and he was all alone to face them. Shivering a bit, Tk sat up and watched some other students talking and sighed again, thinking to himself how this was going to be a long year.  

[Konalou]

Konalou watched other people enter and leave the courtyard. There were so many people laughing and talking around her, but her eyes fell on a boy laying on the ground. He was watching the clouds peacefully, but Konalou could tell he was troubled. His dull eyes were the same as her own: secretive, mysterious, nervous, and afraid.

Reaching into his bag Tk pulled out a book he had owned since he was born. It was horribly tattered and some of the lettering bled to the point where it was near impossible to read. He looked back and forth through the pages smiling a bit at certain parts. Unfortunately he couldnt ease the feeling he was being watched, and often looked over the rim of the book scanning the courtyard. He set the book down in his bag again feeling uneasy, and brought out a bit of his homework instead.  

[Konalou]

Konalou giggled. She was used to being ignored, but this boy overlooked her when she was just yards away. She had never been that invisable. She felt bad though, she could tell he was uneasy because of her presence, but she felt uneasy about meeting new people. She had shut herself from the outside after her family's murdered, refusing to get close to anyone again.

He heard the giggle, his fox ears still concealed beneathe his hair. Yet he was a tad wary. This girl didnt want to talk to him even though he had her focus. Placing his homework back in the bag he stood and walked over to the girl taking a seat next to her his face revealing nothing to how he was feeling. "You laughed at me... Did I do something funny?"  

[Konalou]

"I've always been ignored, but I have never been invisable." was the girl's simple reply. Konalou was surprised that this boy was important enough to fish that much out of her. Much against her instincts, she found the need to say one more thing. "Your face may say nothing but your eyes are very revealing." Konalou kept her own face blank, and her eyes intensed to unreadable.

She watched what was going on silently before walking forward and sitting down next to Risa. "You don't have to tell us anything, but it would explaina lot," she whispered. She gave a friend an encouraging smile and waited quietly.

Keilantra looked up and saw the two people talking.She squinted her eyes abit and chuckled.'Hmm.....figured..'Brushing her hair behind her ears she opened her bag and took out a small notebook and started writing.After a while she closed it aand putt it at her side.Taking out a large brown leather book with green writing she scanned through it.

Keilantra sighed and picked up a stick.'I wonder...'She leaned back against the tree and stuck out hr palms.Almost instantly the stick rose up and started spinning clockwise.Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped abit as it started to glow.Acouple minuted later it burst into flammes.Movinng her hands she blocked her eyes and her a small flame fuse out.Looking down at the earth she saw ashes and remembered what her father had said.'From ashes a pheonix will rise....'She huffed and brushed the hot ashes away and stared at her hands.

He couldnt keep himself from smiling at the comment. "It's true, your very wise. I guess I need to work on that. It's not that I thought you were invisible I just couldnt think at that time." He sighed looking at the girl again. "My name is Tk, if I have bothered you in any way please let me know. I'm new here and havent quite gotten used to this school yet." He looked back up into the sky. Not wanting to see whether or not he was bothering this girl.

Legend turned around and went back to where Risa and co. were after she realized she was walking alone. She listenend to their conversation. Yeah, Risa HAS been acting kind've strange, she thought to herself. Legend sighed. She wanted to leave the cold courtyard already and get something to eat. But she didn't want to go alone; she was sure she would get lost.
