[Eternally Gone]

She didn't move from her position. She shook her head, blue hair going every which way. "Perhaps you haven't seen my whole body?" She said sarcastically. Standing, she moved to where there was more light. "I'm the freak who has yet to find her circus." She sat back down, the bell around her neck sounding again. "I doubt I will go back to the dorms. It's decent out here. No one notices you, unlike the girls who stare." She said quietly. Sure she could get angry and upset, but when she did, she tended not to show it.

"I just see a girl who needs friends, and for out here this is where i live as well. I don't like the dorms." Taqune noticed the bell again and how strange it was to be so loud." That is an intresting trinket around your neck." Taqune cought the sound and replayed it," it went somthing like that didn't it." The noise he reverbarated sounded just as the trinket.

"Friends...I've never had them. Why should I have them now?" She had grown quiet, talking barely above a whisper. "I would love to live out here...away from everyone..." When Taqune reverberated the sound of her bell, her eyes widened. "Sound Manipulation...were you...born like that?" She asked. This was beginning to, not so much freak her out, but make her mind wander. She in turn, caught the reverberation he had sent, and made it lighter. "I have always worn this. Never taken it off. It's as though it helps my ability..."

Taqune noded to her question,"yes I was born with this power, I have almost mastered it as well." Taqune smiled again,"Well you are welcome out here with me, and for friends they come in handy when you need someone." Studying the bell he noded," It very well could, but I can create my own sound,and take whats in the air and use it." Taqune thought it even more curious now for this girl to be here," Your the first person i've meet who can control sound."

"How strange. So much alike, and so different. When I was younger, I started playing the violin, and now use that to manipulate sounds as well. And thank you for offer. I've never tried to create my own sound. I wouldn't know where to begin. You, too, are the first person I've met who can control sound. Then again, you are the first person I've ever met period." She let a hand wander to her sword, touching the right side of the blade. This was the first time she had opened up to anyone. She had to admit, she was curious about Taqune. They were both similar in so many ways.

"I take that you are very skilled with your blade as well?" Taqune noded to her sword," it's very nice Serika, I dont' have material weapons besides my natural claws in my feral form." Taqune sighed softly, guessing she would wonder about that form he was ready to change if she brought it up. It didn't bother him he usually contacts people in that form first but Serika was different for some reason he felt his neko form would be better.

"My story is long far to long to be told at once but the basic part is that I am what is left of my family."

"I put a lot into it. I've finally mastered a technique without getting weak from it. Taqune, would your feral form happen to be from the larger cat family? I just have a hunch that it would be...I haven't changed in the longest time. I doubt I could now." She couldn't believe she finally felt comfortable with someone. It was...an interesting feeling...

Taqune noded,"it would resemble a very large mountian lion about 8 feet or so long. I'll just show you, i can still talk in the form anyway." With that Taqune began to change his pants absorbed into his body and his shirt gone. His Hair receeded as his facial structure changed to a cats. When compelted he look as a very large cat sitting on its fours. Apon opening his mouth he spoke." This is my true form, my neko form is artifical caused by scientists who thought it be fun to experiment with genetics." Taqune took a few steps closer to Serika and sat back down," My main abilities are speed, sound, and i can regenerate my body." His tail was swaying behind him as he spoke. His head tilted to the right curious about what she would answer him with.

She gave a coy smile. "I think you and I were in the same lab room. You showed me your's. It's only fair I attempt to show you mine." She took a deep breath, closing her eyes and thought of the form she was born of. It was just like dreaming. The change didn't hurt like she had thought it would. She was still the navy/midnight colored panther she was born. The sash and bell were still around her neck. "I've-I've done it...It was as easy as dreaming..." She whispered. Looking to Taqune with her blue and gold eyes for comment, her tail came to rest beside her. She was a little smaller than him, by two feet. "Do I look ok? I'm not disfigured?" She was worried about whether something hadn't changed.

Taqune watched with excitement,"Could be there were other weres there as well." As she changed he grew even more excited."Very good Serika, Keep practicing and maybe I can show you how to use your sound in this form." Taqune stood and walked around her his eyes looking over her cat form with detail,"No everything looks perfect. Your still beautiful." Taqune sat down beside her and looked towards her eyes,"Were you born with your eyes like that or was it science as well?" Taqune was hooked now she was from the same lab and of the Panther tribe that was very close to his werecat tribe." Serika, this is very strange that we should meet up here, but I am still happy." Taqune was purring softly, though he didn't notice he was too excited.

She let out a relieved sigh. "I would appreciate that very much Taqune. Thank you for helping me as much as you have already. And thank you for saying that I am beautiful. Over the years I haven't really thought about what people think of me." Crossing her left paw over her right, she nodded her head. "Yes, my eyes were like this from day one. One of the few things that is mine and mine alone. No science could ever give me that. I agree that this is strange. I'm glad that I have made at least one friend. One that I would like to keep around for a while." She said laughing, only to mask her quiet purring, for she had noticed Taqune's.

Nodding with pleasure," your welcome Serika, but for now its growing late and I haven't slept in a day or so. You may join me in the tree that I sleep in I have built a sort of nest up there, its big enough for me to be in so you should have no problem I'll just stay on the branch above until i get you one built as well, if you would like that is." If Taqune was in his neko form he would be blushing heavily but he was thankful he wasn't." I don't plan on going anywhere, finding someone with so much in common with me is more precious than anything else in this world." He yawned his k-9's showing his tail flicking.

She yawned and stretched, her claws mildly digging into the grass. "That would be wonderful thank you, but it's not a problem for me to sleep on the branch. I've done it numerous times, but I would love to share your tree." She too would have been blushing, but thankfully it couldn't be seen. She looked down at her sword, wondering how she would get it up into the tree. Right as she went to put it in her mouth, the bell on her sash began to glow red, along with her sword. Suddenly the sword became a flash of red lightning, going into her bell. She looked at Taqune. "Now I know why I always wear this. How am I ever going to repay you for helping me discover so many new things about myself? I'm already in debt." She joked, before another yawn attacked her.

"Don't worry, seeing others happy is payment enough for me,and I insist that you take the nest for the night you would sleep better in it. Follow me to the tree, its the large one in the center makes it easier to keep a look out for others, and those who try and attack me." Taqune stood and began to head to the tree.

Once there he jumped effortlessly into the nest he had built about 10 feet up then up to the next branch. "Just take the nest I won't take no for an answer." He chuckled and he lied down on the branch resting his chin on his paws. "Just don't let your tail hang down mine's been through hell and back by doing that too many times." He watched for her to get into the nest and waited for her to drift off before he did the same.
