ENDLESS JOURNEYS (O/A)

As Nova spoke she felt that she was even further away from using holy at that level. "I know, I agree with you about how there's barely any info to go on but it's the only info I've got, for almost three years now. It stays the same but the events of it are becoming more real and I can't help but feel so ill prepared. Darkness is closing in... and it won't be long until it engulfs the three remaining realms. It drives me nuts that I can't do anything about it!"

"Well first of all...you are not alone. These two will probably stick by you despite their credits. Then there is me."

"And second, it never stated how long it would take after those 3 years."

"Actually based on what I've been told the third year is my cue to step in. This is almost up and I need to learn more on using holy...or... what if it was three years after darkness spreads..." she was beginning to feel uncertain.  

[Nova Blancke]

"Haha...let's not think about it too much. It's been a long day. Let's decide on a plan tomorrow morning alright? Nothing will come out of fettering about this." Nova replied. There were just so many unknown variables in this prophecy.

Trinity saw that it was already sunrise. It must have been close to dawn's first light when they found Alec. She shook her head and sighed, normally she would be up doing her morning routine of exercises but that would be after a full nights sleep. "I think we may need to reschedule that. Too much happened last night. We'll need to rest before we move on." She started heading back out of their room, "Take care of him Kerana, I need to hit the sack.". Trinity exited and head toward her room.

"As far as we know, yes. But then again there are so many things not clear with that prophecy. Besides...what if we fail? What if there won't be a Inverse after all of this." Nova replied

"Guess I'll have to make sure that you graduate huh?"  

[Nova Blancke]

"Worst case scenario, even then it is just a guess. One outcome of many possibilities. Your folks will be alright. It's a place of magic. I don't think there is a safer place than that." Nova said with a comforting smile.

"Trinity is going to need all the help she can get. So...if that doesn't motivate you to get better then I don't know what will."

Nova noticed that her cheerfulness was infectious.

"Heh don't get ahead of yourself now kid. I still haven't seen what you can do. Change of subject though. I can't really control this urge to ask anymore but...sorry if it personal, but your parents...are they both of your race or one? I haven't met a lot of your kind and I just need to know." Nova asked.

Nova took a mental note of this.
So they don't need a mate of their own kind to birth one of their own. I wonder if that's always the case.
Nova wondered about the origin of her species. Then he realized she asked him something.

"Ahh no, my mind was preoccupied so I didn't book a room. Besides I could go a night without sleep. Done that many, many times already"

I'm not referring to that foxy. My kind of...studying involved lots of physical contact. Nova thought to himself.

"I didn't really study but I sometimes get so drawn into my research that I tend to lose track of time. Actually went a day without eating as well. My body didn't really like that. Ahh well..past is the past and I am sure this won't be the only time we need to stay up all night. Then again... a little shut eye wouldn't hurt." Nova said and leaned against the wall as he slowly slid down.

"So I think I'll do just that for an hour or two. You should try to get some sleep as well foxy. We got a looooong day ahead of us." Nova crossed his arms and legs. Almost instantly he fell asleep. It never took him long to fall asleep.
