Courtyard (North)

[Konalou]

Konalou smiled as well, surprised at how easy it was talk to this guy. "You're very kind. I'm Konalou....I"m new too." she raised her eyebrows at TK. "I'm not provoked that easily." Konalou felt strange, it had been a long time since she had a real conversation with someone....

"So Konalou, where are you from?" He waited glad she wasnt ripping him apart like his last friend did. Some of his tail fur still hadnt grown back since then, and he wasnt eager to lose more. "If its a bad question we could forget I ever asked." He shifted a bit nervously his bag making a few clinking noices.  

[Konalou]

"I'm from the South, about 6 hours from here-Gale!!" A beautiful white falcon had landed on Konalou's head,and was gently pecking her nose in affection. " I'm sorry, this is my falcon Gale, or rather, I"m her human." She gently lifted Gale of her head and onto TK's lap. "Gale, this is TK. Be nice to him," she instructed the bird.

"Oh well thats neat, I'm not a big fan of birds actually." He was obviously very scared of the falcon that had been set in his lap and it was very easy to see he was shivering intencely. "please can you get, Gale off of me umm please?" His eyes were very wide and he seemed to be recalling something traumatic.  

[Konalou]

"Oh sorry." Konalou read the fear in his eyes. "Gale, come here." Konalou urged. The white bird obeyed, settling herself on the girl's shoulder. Konalou felt a change of subject was needed. "So, where are you from?" the girl asked. "You don't exactly look like you're from around here." She was eyeing his tail and cat ears.

Kuro took a detour on the way to inspect his newly built dorm and started through the courtyard quietly seeing if there were any new faces.He saw one girl who had just caused a stick to burst into flames and grinned.Interesting...Maybe I should see what she's up to...He thought and approached her."Excuse me...Did you just do that on your own or by accident?"He asked interested.

"I'm from a long ways away. I lived in a small farming community to the west. " Glad the bird was off him he smiled yet he kept his eyes trained on it. "So how long has this bird been your friend?"

Keilantra blinked as she noticed her finger was burned.'Probably when I was moving the ashes...'Shaking her head she heard a voice.Looking up a the person she gave an awkward smile."Uh...that wasn't really what I was trying to do....."She said this lowing her voice to the ground.She glanced back at the ashes then looked at her hand again.'Burnt dirty hands....yuck..'She gave a sigh and pulled some grass from the ground.Her tail was layed on her lap and her ears were slighten flattened.  

[Konalou]

Konalou felt that Gale was making TK a little too nervous. "Gale, why don't you go back to the dorm, I left some porkchops out for you." Konalou said to her friend. Gale happily set off towards Konalou's dorm, eager for food, with a chirp of thanks. Konalou smiled, watching Gale fly. "Gale's been with me for five years now, ever since........" Konalou's voice trailed off, not really wanting to talk about her family's murder.  

[Shinygami]

"Oh...What were you trying to do?"Kuro asked offering her a handcloth he had taken from the dining hall."So...Yeah...What were you trying to do?"He repeated the question.

Standing suddenly he smiled. "Im sorry but i'm now late for another class. I will be here tommorrow if you wish to meet me, otherwise I shall see you around campus." Grabbing his bag he began running out of the courtyard. "I hope we can have a longer conversation tommorrow." With that he seemed to vanish from view although nothing in the courtyard had changed.

"I was trying to make it stop....but not fall...."Keilantra smiled and took the cloth wipping off the dirt.She squinted in pain abit when she touched her burnt finger.'Where's Sarah when you need her....'She quickly stuffed the large leather book back into her bag.Her locket shined abit and shee tucked it into her shirt hoping no one would see it.  

[Shinygami]

"What was that little glint of metal I saw?"Kuro asked seeing the locket."What's wrong with your finger anyway?"He asked taking her hand before she answered and looking."Burnt huh?That's easy to take care of..."He muttered then his hand started glowing white and he pressed her hand between both of his and healed the burn.  

[Konalou]

Konalou returned his smile. "Alright, I need to go to the Greenhouse anyways." Konalou stood up, and raised her left hand, as if useing some magic, but nothing happened......or so it seemed. What the young girl did was sent a breeze carrying heer voice to Gale, letting the bird know where she would be. Having completed that, winds swirled around Konalou, and the girl disappeared.

"Uh..just my necklace.."Keilantra wondered what you were doing when you took her hand."Uh yea...."Seeing the light and feeling that her hand was healed her eyes widened."Sure are alot of people that can heal around here huh?"She kept turning her hand over looking at were the burn was.
