[Eternally Gone]

She followed him to the tree, and stared at it's magnificence before easily jumping into the nest. She was like a shadow on the tree itself, cast by leaves and moonlight. She looked at her surroundings, and was actually more comfortable being up high in the tree than in the dorms. She looked up at him. "Thank you Taqune, for everything, including the warning." She brought her tail up and curled into a ball. She was like a kitten all over again, purring into a deep sleep.

Trinity couldn't help but laugh when Ashitaka gave her that suspicous look. Then he spoke again, he wanted to know what? "Everything? Well, that's specific...um..." She smiled and stretched her hands behind her head, as he continued "Well, I don't know exactly when the elements began acting up. They always have a little bit, but only within the past year have they been dangerous. I'd turn on the kitchen faucet and it would practically explode out the nozzle with water." She brought her hands down infront of her thinking about it a little more. "I wasn't allowed in the science classes when the other students would use the bunsin burners..." She hung her head at that point. "I'm pretty sure you could guess what happened to cause that." She laughed rather embarresed remembering the whole event. "But, I was able to keep everything pretty well hidden from my parents, but... then the house caught fire and my parent's sent me here." She shrugged, she was still rather new here, and she figured she'd get used to being here, but she was nonetheless annoyed at her parents. Then he asked how she felt about him... a tough question, but she'd do her best to answer it. "How do I feel about you?..." Her face flashed crimson, but it stayed a light pink color. well... I really like you, um... She had an embaressed smile on her face, looking down almost avoiding his eyes.

Ashitaka looked at her. "Well well, your face is all red." Ashitaka noticed that her face went from crimson, to pink. Then he spoke. "Don't worry, you dont have to say anymore if you don't want to." Ashitaka ate his ice cream and continued. "Well, that was a funny story." He spoke whole heartedly, trying to change the subject, but he couldn't forget what she just said. What comes next, what was she about to say.

Trinity hung her head a little more. She was relieved though when he said she didn't have to say anymore. Her face then went back to normal when he found ehr story funny. "Suffice to say, no one else found those incidents funny." She took another bite of her ice cream, now watching him. It looked like he wanted to say something, but she wasn't sure. "What is it?" She could take several guesses, including that what she had said before didn't abate his curiosity, but she asked anyways.

as he walked slowly towards the courtyard, he exclaimed "well, there sure is enough people here," as he walked slowly into the courtyard he found a tree and sat down, leaning against the botto of the tree, hoping to be noticed by someone

Taqune looked down when he awoke to see Serika still there.I'll let her sleep better to be waiting at the base for her than be hoving around her like a vulture. As he fell to the ground he remembered that food would be a good thing for him and Serika to have. He bolted towards the cafe and was back in a few seconds. He sat down two boxes one with eggs and toast the other with bacon, sausage, and ham. Along with jams and such. The ladies new him all to well and had it ready as they heard him coming from the courtyard.

Suka now sat under the large tree that was in the courtyard and thought about how Karin had ended up disappearing to the dining hall without him. He did not remember what had happened, but until they ended up crossing paths again he assumed that he would be able to find something else to occupy himself with. He pulled his dagger out and began to spin it in his hand again as he had done before Karin informed him that it bugged her...it always took his mind away from memories and kept it on the present instead of the past. even if he did it absentmindedly it was something that helped him to keep his sanity for this long.

Terry walked into the south courtyard, another angered look on his face. He reached down deep into his right pocket, grabbing his iPod and jamming the headphones deep in his ears. He walked over to an empty bench and plopped himself down on it, making a loud thud like sound when he sat down. He turned the ipod on and loud, you could probably understand some of the words even if you were a few feet away from him. He layed down and looked up at the sky trying to get his mined off of a few things. His right leg danggled off the edge of the bench, but he didnt care to much about it.

Serika wasn't one to sleep much, but for some reason, she felt like she had slept better than she had in a long time. Waking up, she looked around and then remembered that she had spent the night in Taqune's nest. Still in her panther form, she gracefully made her way from the nest to the ground. "Well...hello there." She said in a better mood than she was last night.

Taqune smiled and held up the food,"hungery?" He had the boxes still warm and full of food."The cafe ladies know me all to well. If there is anything else you would like I'll see if i can get it for you.But for now eat,please." Taqune was in a cheery mood and seeing her made it all the better.

"Oh yes please." She hadn't eaten in days. The two days it took her to walk here she hadn't eaten, and the third day, she was too much in a daze to eat anything. She tried to keep her eating slow, but she was starving. "This is the best food I've eaten so far." She said, mouth half-way filled with food. Once she swallowed she shook her head. "I apologize for that. I shouldn't have spoken with my mouth full." She wiped off her mouth before she spoke again, and after she'd had her fill of the delicious food. "Taqune, I just wanted to thank you for letting me sleep in your nest. You didn't have to, and you still did." Still in panther form, she extended a paw to him.

Taqune took her paw and kissed it softly,"your welcome, and anytime Serika." He ate his fill and threw the boxes away the food was gone as well. So what do you want to do today?" Taqune tilted his head to the left his tail wrapping around his waist. He knew he would have to build her a nest soon so she could stay up in the tree but that would only take all of three minutes.

Before she could even begin to blush she changed back into her Neko form. Her face looked as though she had been in the sun too long. "What do you normally do on days like this? I've been in schools before, but the only thing I was really good at was staying in the office." She shrugged and looked away. She had to admit, now being here with someone like Taqune, she felt very...rebellious. As though all she did was get in trouble.

"I normally hang around or train during the day. That might be good and give you a change to know what i am capable of and for me to know what you can do as well." Taqune smiled. " Never know someone might want to spar in the training area."

She nodded. "I would probably spend the rest of my life training if I could. Perhaps I can show you Blinding Light. It's the technique I finally mastered without passing out." She said lightly. It might be nice to show someone what she was capable of, considering she carried a sword around the same size as her.

Nodding Taqune stood and held out his hand."That would be great and i might be able to show you how i work as well. My powers are much better scene than explained." Once she would grab his hand they would go to the Spiritblade arena.
