Alena sighed. The twins were already asleep. She floated down to a rock, and rested upon it, tail merly floating.

Forchinatly for her, this form didn't borrow parts from her human side, so she wasn't an insomniac. Eventually, she nodded off.

Alex followed her. "Is this conversation private, or can I come?" She asked.

She smiled "You can come, since your already here" She turned to Yumi. "What Hime said was true. You really are a mermaid"
She yelled. "Do you see a fin? No I don't think so!"
She smiled. "Mermaids can turn fins into feet silly, anyways your more human than mermaid."
She turned around. "I'm human, I know that. My father's human.......and so is my mother."
She nodded to the side. "No, because you father said she died. Which in reality, is a lie. She's out there in the big 'ol ocean. She just can't see you because your mean old grandma won't allow it. They wanted you to live as a human. But I guess the kitty is out of the bag."

Alex thought for a moment. "We could go serching for her if you want. I've been wanting to go swimming with the dolphins anyways." She suggested.

She looked at her locket and ripped it off. "Alright then........Sumire lead the way."
Hime yawned. "I think I'll stay here, I'm not in a fish kind of mood"

"Aww, come on." she said, appproaching Hime. "I'm the embodiement of change. My powers go beyond just changing my own form. I can give you a temporary one, one capable of breathing underwater. Doesn't that sound like fun?"

She looked at the kid. "First of all, with Jennifer's diamond of eternity, I can change into anything. And second, she'll take forever to find."
Sumire giggled. Hehe, I wonder if I should tell them the truth about her mermy mommyShe shook her head. "Alrighty! We are off!" She transported everyone to a beach, including Hime.

Alex turned to Sumire. "Can you take any form? Or are they limited to certain ones?" She asked, fully prepared to use her power.

Yumi was still very reluctant. She didn't want to go in the water as a mermaid. She'd rather wear her swimsuit. "Uhh.......no thanks.......I'll stay with Hime."
Sumire poofed Hime into the water as a mermaid. "Now who are you staying with again?!"
Hime looked at herself. "Ack! I'm pink!!!!"
Sumire smiled. "If you don't complain, you can wrestle a shark."
She smiled. "It's a deal!"

But still, she didn't want to lose her current child-like mindset......she wasn't sure why, but it felt like she had a friend who could releat to her in some small way, and she didn't want to lose that.

She swam over to Sumire, growing as she went, till they were the same age. (Her chest was now nothing to be scoffed at.) It helped, but it didn't fix the problem.

"Goddesses can do anything?" She asked, a pleading look in her eye.
