Courtyard (South)

Lia walked onto the south side of the courtyard and started to feel a bit restless. She began pacing about in circles around a tree, one hand rubbing against the soft bark the other still shoved deep in her pocket. Her cheerful whispering turned into a bit of a sigh and she wished she had Takuto with her right now. The plush dragon always made her feel better.

" Whats wrong? WHATS WRONG?! gordon could have broken many rules if he brought stuff back. I mean he would have to explain how he travels through the universe stream and how we are from a diffrent planet but it was supposed to be a secert. My god he may have blabbered all....god damnit..." Shepard realizing what he had done.


" Do not worry master we all make mistakes...well you meatbags due mostly. I however are very limited in my mistakes since I am an assian droid." said HK-47 a bit proud at the end.  

[Misao]

Lorelai's face lit up at Shepard's outburst, and she laughed a little. "Gordon? Nope, I'm afraid I don't know him. Rest assured, it has nothing to do with your friend. But you're from another planet too?" She smiled, clapping her hands together. "Then it looks we have something else in common besides superior technology!" Looking at him quizzically, she asked, "So, what's this about traveling through the universe stream? I'd love to know more!"

Terry shifted his eyes upward, not moving his head at all from its regular position, and examined everyone in the courtyard, The robot caught his eyes frist, then shepard, Lorelai, Sonneillon, Lia, and then everyone els that was strolling threw this part of the courtyard. His eyes shifted many times over looking every character alittle more than twice for each. Can't be to careful about your surroundings... he thought to himself, still shifting his eyes being well awear of what was arround him, accept behind him of course. He shifted his eyes back down to his folded hands, no longer to interested in what was arround him. He raised his hand and scrached the back of his head, ruffling his bright eye-catching red hair.  

[Eternally Gone]

Waking from what she considered a nap, she looked around at her surroundings. They were familiar, but she was still out of it. When she saw Taqune, her mind slowed down. She wasn't freaked out at the fact that there was a man, none the less, in the same vicinity as her. "How are you feeling?" Were the first words out of her mouth.

" Your from another planet? last I checked this solar system was dead besides Earth. Oh well..no need to be the only advanced race. " Shepard said smiling. He though for minute on how to explain the universe stream.


" Think of the uni-stream as a subway. It transports you to diffrent areas. There are a infinite number of universes out theres with infinite numbers of Earths. The uni-stream is used to go to those diffrent universes. Currently i have only seen Chaos vampires use the uni-stream. You see with our chaos powers we can bend the barrier between one universe and end up in the uni-stream and travel to another universe. wE even have ships that can do this. These where common during the Chaos Wars but not so much now" Shepard said explaining it all.


" Query: May I ask female but which planet are you from?" HK-47 asked knowing that none of the planets near by had any life at all.  

[Misao]

"Interesting! I've always been interested in alternate universes," Lorelai said, smiling brightly as Shepard explained the uni-stream. "We should definitely swap notes sometime. Me? I'm a time traveler. As near as I can tell, my home time is about three hundred million Earth years in the past - give or take a few hundred thousand years in either direction," she said, running her fingers through her hair.

Turning to the robot, she smiled again, sensing that her earlier statement must have confused the two of them somewhat. "I'm from the planet Vulcan. I'm not surprised you don't know of it, since it was blown up in the war with Mars during my home time," she said. "It was located where what you now know as the 'asteroid belt' happens to be currently orbiting."

" I see..it makes alot of sense..but are you stuck here? If you aqre..perhaps I can ask my father. He knows alot more about time travel than me. Hes a genuis. Invented everything from weapons to a cure for AIDS. And my mother is smart to. Doctor.To bad my dad didnt make my robot. He found him in a spaceship" said Shepard looking at HK-47

" While it is hard to bring up in I can remeber some past experiance with laser-sword weilding compaions. His father has been meaning to recover my lost memories but never has had the time" saiid the robot.  

[Misao]

Lorelai nodded, her smile unwavering even as she explained her situation. "Unfortunately, yes, I am stuck in this timestream for the time being. Due to the complex nature of time travel, it's not really energetically feasible to travel straight forward or backward in time," she said, gesturing with her hands to punctuate her explanation.

"To give you the short explanation, you need to slide sideways along neighboring strands of the timestream in order to accomplish long jumps. Given how far into the future I managed to leap, it's going to take a very long time to calculate the route back. Furthermore, the longer I stay here, certain routes become closed off, and the calculations have to be started over from scratch. Needless to say, I'm probably going to be here for quite a while."

" MOst likley forever...but there was one race who overcame that. I think they where called the XEl-naga. They created..these gateways which could carve a hole in time and they just jump through and they where in the past. It is unknown how they did it or even why. Heck only one is known to exist..but if you know your planet is gone why go back? The past cannot be changed once its set or it will tale the route of and become a completely diffrent universe all togther. Its best not to tamper with time. So many things can go wrong" Shepard said shaking his head as if remebering something.  

[Misao]

Lorelai cheerfully shrugged her shoulders at this, seemingly unaffected by Shepard's explanation of the past being immutable. "Never know unless you try," she said flippantly.

Glancing down at her wrist, she took note of the time. "Well, it's been great meeting the both of you, but I'm afraid I have to get going. I just arrived here the other day, and there's so much work to be done." She walked over to HK-47, rubbing it affectionately on top of the head and smiling. "Come by my lab sometime, cutie, I'm sure I can give you some nice upgrades."

With that, she turned on her heels and started to walk off. After going a few steps, she spun back around, waving at Shepard and HK-47 as she continued to walk backwards. "See you again sometime!" she called out happily, turning back around and continuing to tinker with the machine she had been carrying with her as she went.

Edit: Even though I'm leaving, feel free to make one more post in response. I'm kind of curious to see how HK-47 and Shepard will respond to Lorelai's bizarre robot-flirting. xd ))

Terry shifted his eyes again, still rolling his thumbs arround on his lap and bouncing his right left up and down unpatiently. He watched everyone, as they came and as they whent, ha, it's true what my sister says, I freak people out... he laughed in his mind, not caring much about it tho. He thought of it as a good thing, better to avoide some bad conflicts with people. He didnt see thou the bad thing about it, avoiding some of the good things was one of them. He ruffled the bright red hair once more on the back of his head, making it alittle messy.

" Query: Master that female confounds me. She is stuck in the past in the most disgusting planet I've ever seen...yet she is happy?" said Hk-47. Shepard just sighed and kept walking not knowing what to say.

"Hk-47..when you have the chance..go over to her lab and get a nice upgrade for yourself won't you? This person interests me and I want to see what she can do" he said looking back at the girl and smiling.

Terry stood up and streached his arms out far with a wild lion like yawn. He opened his mouth quite wide, showing off two large fangs. "I should take another walk..." he mumbled to himself and walked toward the gates of ria to get out of the school grounds. He dragged his feet on the way out and his head down low, watching his steps more than his direction.

Lia sighed after nearly running a hole into the ground around the tree, and she was sure that the area around the tree her fingers had been running along was smooth by now. She finally stopped walking in circles and decided to go somewhere. She actually wasn't quite sure where, but she could decide that while walking. And after that she would head back to her dorm, she wasn't sure if she should say goodbye to the people around her, though they hadn't talked, or not. In the end she did just to say something.
"Good bye all of you great people. Even though I don't know you!" she finished with a laugh and then left the courtyard.
