Crystal tranformed into a bird. She flew out the hallways, out the door. She soared into the sky, headed for the beach. She looked beneath her, which was the beautiful city. She looked ahead, and saw she was near the beach. She landed as a bird on the sand. Then she remembered that there were humans there. She hid under the wooden stairs, and transformed back into a vampire. She walked out and felt the sand sink through her toes. She felt the warm breeze fly past her.
