Courtyard (South)

Taqune turned his head towards Serika," Much better thank you for your help." He sat up and smiled to her,"so after that nap what shall we do?" Taqune was used to sleeping infact if no one was around he slept all day. He was looking better but he still didn't have a shirt anymore which didn't really bother him it was open all the time anyway. His tail was hanging down from the nest and poking out of the leave below.  

[Jonana]

Rianna walked towards the South of the courtyard. Looking around, she sat down against a tree and started playing her flute. After playing three whole songs, she was about to get up and walk away when she had a thought.

It seems pretty interesting here. Maybe I should stay, after all...

With that, she sat back down and looked at the scenarios.

Fae didn't mind being lead away by the hand from the gates. "I see," She said in response to the mask, "It's hard loosing somebody you are so close too right?" She knew the troubles of that. In fact she could write a book about it, "I lost my father. He was human and he died young. He was my only guardian after my mom--who was elvin nobility-- was torn away from us." She smiled slightly, her eyes were still a little red from crying, "She had eloped with my father and her father didn't like that one bit." She paused, "So I know how the honor thing goes." She played with the sapphire ring on her finger.

Once in the courtyard Rain turned around. "I know how that feels as well, my mother was a human who died while she was about mid-life span for a human. My father was a demon fox that was slayn when I was a boy by my mothers village for getting to close in the day light..." He lowered his eyes once again. "My grandfather cared for me until now... I am all on my own." He said as he sat down under a tree leaning up against it. Looking up at her with a smile, "I guess we have more in common then we know huh?"

Fae nodded, a real smile lighting upon her lips, "I guess so." She said, "I was in foster homes until about a year ago. I was tried in six homes. None of them wanted me by the end of a few months. Weird things always happened." She sat 'indian style' on the grass across from him, "What are your arts?" She asked.  

[Eternally Gone]

She bowed her head politely. "You're welcome. Perhaps that is why we came across each other. We are here to help each other, especially when one of us just can't take the beatings anymore." She said with a raised eye brow and a smile. "Hmm...I could always help you build my little abode. I have no problem with physical labor." Her dark blue tail came peeking out from next to her left thigh. She was in a good mood, but anyone would be if they had come to know such an amazing person over a span of a few days.

Smiling he noded,"Perhaps that is why. That is fine by me. We are going to have to go into town for the supplies though. Don't worry too much, people will stare but I've been down there enough that they just don't care anymore." Taqune stretched out and back his arms popping. His claws on his finger tips showing." So you ready to head to town?"  

[Jonana]

After a few hours, Rianna stood up and started walking away from the courtyard when she realized she had forgotten her flute on the grass. Picking it up, she was planning to go towards the Library, but then thought of going off-campus instead. With that at mind, she set off for the lake.

Rain looked over at her, he looked deep into her eyes. "I can see you have had a hard life... And not just from the words you speak. I can read it in your head as well..." He smiled and looked away to break the connection he had made between his mind and hers. "I am a mind reader, Well really I can use my mind to do many things but I am most skilled in the art of mind reading. I also use Martial Arts as well." He smiled and giggled a bit. "Its like what my grandfather said." he then states in a low sounding voice, "To weild a strong mind, you must have a strong body!" Rain then began to laugh. "So I went off to train for a long time before I really learned how to truely mind read.... It comes in handy sometimes I must say..."  

[Eternally Gone]

When he told her that they would need to go into town for supplies, she froze. People...the one thing in life that has always turned me out for one reason or another...She thought to herself. Keeping her thoughts too herself, she nodded. "Alright...let's do this." She said, trying to think positively, though it was hard. She didn't know if she was ready to deal with people yet.

Faia smirked then sent a message that was unspoken but was sent directly to his head via her own mind manipulation, "I should say so." She giggled and said out loud, "I have the power too, also along with other mind abilities. Though like you my strongest happens to be my mind. Papa used to say it was from my mother. I'm also in the art of wind--or air-- manipulation." Just for fun she played with the air around them, creating a slight breeze.

Rain felt the breeze on his face. "Well that is an interesting art I bet it comes in handy..." He smiled as he looked around. "So you mind read as well... I didn't think I would find someone who could do that here. I mean sure there are probably alot of them here, but when I was growing up I had to hide this power of mine..." He said to himself, "But it came in handy when the other boys in town wanted to beat me up you know." He said with a smile.  

[Kumizu]

Finally, Kumizu was able to get away from her. Sure, he knew he'd be followed, but for the moment, he enjoyed his relative comfort.

He took another drink from the bottle, and realized it was now only about a quarter. Guess I should cut back.... Yeah right. Personally, he was wishing he had more.

Kumizu sat down next to the fountain, under the phoenix statue, and let his hand glide in the water. He finally capped the bottle and put it away.

Ayise popped up behind Kumizu, "How rude." She commented not sounding the least bit offended, "But I get it, you like her but she doesn't like you. I guess I understand how you feel." She seemed in childish awe at his bottle, "So, that was just water? Is it like alcohol to you or something?" She asked excitedly, "That's so...cool..." Her green eyes sparkled as if he'd just walked on water or some other miraculous feat.  

[Kumizu]

Kumizu turned away from Ayise. He expected this, but still didn't want to deal with her. "I don't like her. I had just finished having a conversation with her, and I never got the chance to say good-bye because you burst in and began to annoy me. As for the bottle, it's just water, and no, you can't have some. I already put it away. Now please, just leave me alone." His hand had always stayed in its place, gliding back and forth in the water.
