Hey guys, I would like to know your most honest opinion about something. =)

Let's say you have a boyfriend [if you're a guy, pretend that you're a girl]. His name is Jay. And you have a friend, her name is Trisha.
Today is your 3rd month anniversary with Jay. Trisha used to have a crush on Jay, but now she's completely over him since a long time AGO! However, for your 3rd month anniversary with Jay, you decided to go out for dinner with a few of your friends. You told Jay to call Trisha in order to invite her, however nobody at home would pick up. You went out with your boyfriend and friends and had a wonderful time. You went back home and started talking on the phone with your boyfriend. In the same time, Jay was on Yahoo Messenger or MSN messenger. He mentioned that Trisha is online. You tell him to ask her why she didn't call today. He agrees. Your boyfriend tells you the whole conversation.

Jay: Hey Trisha, why didn't you answer the phone when I called today?
Trisha: Yes, Jay? What is it? I wasn't there today because I went out with my parents. Why did you call? [Don't you think it's awkward how many uneccesary words are in there like 'Yes, Jay?'? o_O ]
Jay: Oh I called just to invite you to eat somewhere at a restaurant.
Trisha: Ah... Around what time?
Jay: Around 1 or 2 o clock.
Trisha: I couldn't go today because I was with my parents. But we can do it tomorrow if you want to!
Jay: I'm sorry, but tomorrow is too late because me and [insert your name here]'s 3rd month anniversary was today and we celebrated with other people.
Trisha: Oh...
Trisha: Why didn't you wait 5 months until you celebrated it?
Jay: I don't really care. I'd like to celebrate every month with her since she makes me very happy. Plus, it feels like we've been more than 3 months together.
Trisha: That's cute
Trisha: You're cute when you say that. =P
Jay: Why? Are you jealous? lol
Trisha: NO, I'm not jealous blablablalbalblaba... [ --__-- ]
Jay: Hey you know when I said "I would invite you to go out" you thought it was only going to be the two of us or with other people?
Trisha: Of course with other people! Are you crazy, the two of us?
Jay: Yeah, you're right. It won't happen.
Trisha: Anyways I have to go Jay, bye bye!

I mean, doesn't it obviously look like Trisha is still madly in love with your boyfriend? I mean when Jay said "I want to invite you out" she didn't say "How about your girlfriend?" or "What's the special occasion?" she just went OKAY LET'S DO IT TOMORROW! And when Trisha said "Why don't you wait for 5 months?" Like what's her damn problem? Does she expect you and your boyfriend to breakup before 5 months? What a bee@tch! domokun And what's up with the "YOU're cute when YOU say that =P" Does she think she have a chance with your man? What a $@$^$%#!

Okay what are your thoughts? Am I being paranoid? I asked a lot of my friends about the situation and they agreed with me. Okay it's me and my boyfriend and a girl named ELING. domokun I don't know, I'm probably the one who is wrong here, but I wanna hear your opinions.

I think it's a combination of both. I mean, what you said about her not being over him, and also paranoia. I wouldn't say she was 'madly in love with him'.. actually, my opinion is that this Eling girl seems to just be jealous of you as a person, rather than of you being with your boyfriend (if that makes any sense). So her advances on your boyfriend is actually because she wants what you have and wants to be better than you - I mean, it'd probably be the same even if it were a different guy.

Plus, like Sin said, he obviously prefers you waay over her. 3nodding



Go stampede a herd of wildebeest over the girl, she deserves it for saying things like that to someone else's boyfriend. Seriously needs to get over herself, that one. Pffft.

yeah.. i think maybe she still likes him.. or has this feeling that she doesnt mind dating him~

she might not be madly in love with him but i cant be sure... seems a bit like she was flirting with him (saying he's cute, etc).. and the fact that she wanted to meet him the next day instead of saying "maybe next time" sounds like she has this keen interest on ur guy.. o.O

YA! So everybody agrees she's still hooked on my boyfriend. Well, it was kind of obvious too, even my friends agreed, even my friend who kept telling me "No no, I don't think Eling likes Andy anymore, I think it just pisses her off to see you two together." finally agreed. But anyways, why would it piss her off to see us two together if she doesn't like him at all anymore? Yup. Oh well, I know he won't go after her, and I know she's no threat. Plus, he said no to her once, why would he ever say yes?

@Niphz: You might be right. She started giving me all this attitude towards me since last year and last year me and Andy weren't dating. o__O

I see I see. I think.. the only way to really, permanently get her off your back is to make her realise her own worth as a person [I'm sure she must have some worth..] so that she stops forever hankering after what other people - and especially you - have. Maybe to her, your life seems so much better than her own, and someone needs to make her see that her own life has its own good points and that none of us can be happy in exactly the same way as others - she is mistaken in thinking that what makes you happy will make her happy also, and needs to find her own way to it.

Actually, I think she worships herself enough already. She's always bragging about how rich her family is, about how she knows so much about alcohol rolleyes , etc. She actually likes to find the best in herself and boast about it then she likes to find the worse in people and use it against them to put them down in order to make herself feel superior and better. There's no point in trying to make her realise her own worth, she's a selfish person and she won't stop until she gets what she wants. Okay, I'm being way to bad to say all these things. I'll try to meditate and see what makes her a good friend to. ... ... ... Honestly, I can't think of anything. -_- -Sigh- Now that I realise it, not even the majority of my group of friends likes her or enjoys her company. Why are we hanging with her? confused I guess we feel too sorry to do anything bad to her.

I'm so stressed about being stressed!!! I just started school and my husband now has to take care of our daughter when I'm not home. All he does is complain, I don't think I was ever this bad. Please make it stop!!!

@NR - Ouch.. there's just no helping some people, is there? Allow me to be irritatingly unsympathetic, though, and say that people who brag all the time actually do it because they have no self-confidence and it makes them feel better..

@Niphz: You are scary... because you are so right. o___o She actually really does have no self-confidence because she complains about her physical appearance and my friends and I are trying to console her [see, unlike her we're nice, when we complain about something bad about us she'll just agree]. But to make herself feel better she points out the bad part in all of us. Sometimes I wonder if you're studying social science or psychology especially since you describe Eling's case so correctly without really knowing her in person. ^_^

Today was so FUNNY because of Eling. There was a fire today and everybody had to go to the other smaller building right next to our school and we were freezing without our jackets. I tried to stay outside to look for my boyfriend but the teachers forced us inside into the building. But people with jackets had to leave the building while people without jackets had to go in since there wasn't enough room. Eling had her jacket. So since I didn't see Andy inside, I guessed he was outside but all the teachers blocked every exit. So I sat down in the gymnasium with my friend while Eling kept standing up looking at the door. Earlier, I asked her if she saw Andy and she said no. But I was wondering "Why doesnt' she sit down? She keeps looking at the door as if she is waiting for somebody. Could it be Andy? Nah, she SHOULD be over him." Finally, it was safe to go back inside of the school and so I did. I saw Andy, we hugged, kissed and were so happy to see eachother. He kept telling me that he was litterally looking EVERYWHERE for me that he even stayed outside in the cold only in a T-shirt looking for me. People told him to go inside but he ignored them. He told me that he was worrying if I was safe or not. ^-^We were still in eachother's arms, but Eling kinda broke the moment by tapping Andy on the shoulder (actually, it wasn't really a tap, she left her hand there for at least 5 seconds o_O) and she said "ANDY, I was looking everywhere for you!" and he was like "Oh okay. I was over there." Even my friend heard her say that. But like... I found that awkward. I mean why would you look everywhere for somebody that you're not even really close to? She didn't even tell that to anybody else. Or maybe she was just looking for him as a friend since she didn't see him, but still. o__O She didn't say that to Mark and she didn't see him either. But when I think about it, it's natural to worry about somebody you like especially when there's a dangerous event happening. So she still likes him? BUT WHY IS SHE LEAVING HINTS IN FRONT OF MY FACE!? crying And the time she said "You weren't obligated to say yes" was like saying "You should of left him for me" but he is not even interested in you! Ugh... --__-- I hate it when she gives hints and I hate it when she bosses me around like "DON'T DRAG HIM LIKE A DOG!" OMG! I know why she said that, she was jealous of seeing us together. But damn... Control yourself b***h! Ya, I said it. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! domokun ahahahahahhahaha! There I said it, b***h! >=D Ya I know I'm crazy. -__-

Ugh. Now that is just going too far. I would actually have hit her if she did that to someone I was with. Does she not see that she is just making a fool of herself?

I don't study any of those things xD I'm just.. a people-watcher. Plus one of my friends has some of those traits sometimes.. once you get down to basics, we all pretty much fall into a few categories. But thanks for the compliment ^__^;;
