More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie looked forward, she knew what he was asking was reasonable, logical. She knew that is was only a matter of time before he lost his sanity, but could she have his death on her hands. Sighing she replied slowly, carefully, "I... I can't make a promise I don't know if I will be able to keep."

Christian glanced between the two and spoke up, "If Mommy can't I will."

Annie paled glancing down at her son. "So you were awake," she muttered. Then her eyes grew hard, "Christian. You will not ever use your power that way-"

He raised a brow and ignored her glancing at Shane, repeating himself, "I will, when the time comes. I am more powerful than Mommy. She won''t be able to stop me... besides Daddy mentioned there is a possibility that she might lose her powers for a while."

Annie turned away and muttered, "He would have said something like that..." she had turned bright red at her son's comment. "That is not something you tell a two year old."

Shane glances in Annie's direction and asks, "What does that mean? Surely it's just an allusion to how you can't use too much power at once?"

Annie sighed, "My powers are a lot more complicated than just that." She glanced down at Christian and debated on how to word what she was thinking. "No matter how much I use my power I can still use my power until it kills me. However, they discovered that temperarily I can lose my powers- all of them. No matter how much I may want to use my powers, even if I am concious I can't. It was a side effect of Dr. Berchant's most successful experiment." She paused, and ran her fingers through her son's dark hair. She seemed thoughtful for a minute or two.

Turning she assured Shane, "It won't be a problem- or shouldn't be. I have my priorities a lot more straight than Dr. Berchant gave me credit for. I wouldn't put any of us in that situation."

He wrapped his arms around her and pressed her against him. Brushing aside a bang that was in front of her eyes, he kissed her.

She continued the kiss placing her hand at the back of his head.  Her other hand moved from his shoulder down his biscep. One thing lead to another.  She couldn't take it any more she needed him, she pulled the blankets over them.  Her tank top and shorts fell to the floor as well as her thong.  Not  long after his boxers fell to the floor and so the night continued with some sleep.

Liv was simply strolling along moving to the rhythm, happily humming the song that was currently on her MP3 Player.One glance at her would make you think that she had seemingly forgotten Gidgets suspicion's. She had not forgotten about them but decided to simply not think about it. She had been suggested by Daedelus to go after Shane and retrieve their 'assets' but she didn't care about that. Just because she is contracted by them at the moment does not mean that they own her. Shane and this..Annie had freed the Meta's in that complex which made her kind of glad. Not going after them was her way of thanking the duo.

But then..she spotted some irresistibly cute. ..Kerana. She turned off her MP3 Player. Softly walking over to Kerana, she crouched in front of her. One arm wrapped around her own knees and the other hand reached out to Kerana's ears.Liv did this without being aware of it. Whenever she saw something as cute as this she just needed to touch or hug it. The latter she could barely resist.

"It gets easier. I installed a simulated light system years ago so that people could tell when it was getting to be night time. You are free to go up to the surface whenever you feel like. You're one of the fortunate ones who don't have a physical change."

"Speaking of which, one of our newcomers tomorrow is a girl around your age. I've seen her file and her appearance can be a bit jarring at first, but she seems nice. I hope that you can help her and her brother feel as welcome as Kerana has to you."

Deora nodded at what Gidget said, agreeing with her. She had always easily adapted to her surroundings, even if she wasn't happy about it. She was lucky she hadn't turned out like the rat boy that had stalked her before Trinity and Gidget found her.What Gidget said next concerned her, though.

"What's wrong with her appearance?" Deora had to ask.

"I wondered what they felt like.They looked so soft and fluffy like your tail" Liv said innocently. It was then that Liv couldn't resist. She was just way to cute for her own good. Liv hopped next to her and just hugged. Hugged her the way you would hug a giant teddy bear..

"~Ahhhh~You're just so cuuuuute. I just wanna take you home and hug you all day long." She said with a blissful sigh as she held Kerana.

She parts her curtains of mousy brown hair with her hands and leans in closer to him, stopping her head between the seats. With genuine curiosity in her eyes, she studies this new little person with a silly smile on her face.

"Heather's transformation is one of the most drastic that I have seen in a metahuman. Well, aside from her brother. Anyway, her body has transformed to a point that she is mostly reptilian. She basically looks like an iguana with a young woman's figure and human hair. But it seems she is very nonchalant about hit. She has adopted the nickname Liz to make things easier for other people to speak with her."

Liv noticed her new teddy bear's struggle and instantly lessened her grip while still holding her. Now she was examining her

"Ahhh I'm so so sorry. Are you okay?" Liv said as she panicked a bit."I'm sorry but you're just so cute and I can't resist cute things...." She muttered the last part a bit."Sorry" Looking down a bit she sighed.

She basically looks like an iguana with a young woman's figure and human hair. But it seems she is very nonchalant about it. She has adopted the nickname Liz to make things easier for other people to speak with her."

Deora unconsciously grimaced at the thought of what the girl must look like. She caught herself, though, and felt bed for the reaction. "I'll do my best. I don;t think I know this place well enough to be giving tours yet, but I can at least make them feel welcome."

Gidget gave Deora a small smile. "I know you will."

Gidget looked over Deora's shoulder. She had just noticed that Kerana had left. Figuring that she wouldn't have gone far without her new friend, Gidget turned to one of the monitors and had it display the hallway outside of her lab. She nearly clenched a fist at what she saw, but quickly calmed down once she saw that Kerana was in no immediate danger. This presented Gidget with an idea.

She turned to Deora and asked, "Deora, can I ask you for one more favor before you go?"

Shane was about to ask about the experiment she was referring to, his scientific mind overtaking him with curiosity, but was interrupted by Gidget peeking her head between the seats at Christian.

She was playing with her hair while the two nice people spoke, oblivious to what they are discussing. Then she heard another voice, a smaller one.

Annie stared at her son and sighed. Before she could say anything, the child continued, "But she is happy. I like her. She has a nice aura."

"Aura?" Annie asked.

He nodded solemnly, "Yeah. Didn't you know, Mommy? I am a sensor, too. But I can feel people's emotions."

Annie raised a brow, "And your just telling me this now, why?"

"Wasn't important," he said shrugging. Smiling at Gidget he says, "She's happy. I like her. Happy people are fun to be around."

Christian narrows his eyes at Gidget briefly, a scowl on his face when he speaks up, "She's simple, isn't she?"

Annie stared at her son and sighed. Before she could say anything, the child continued, "But she is happy. I like her. She has a nice aura."

Gidget returned Christian's smile with aa exuberant smile and laugh. She reached out to him with him with her right index finger and touched the tip of his nose gently with a, "Uwaah."

Shane couldn''t help but chuckle a bit at Christian's reaction to his sister. Yes, he thought, she is simple...but that will be fixed soon.

He considered Christian for a moment, glancing down at him occasionally. He said, "You are a very well spoken and intelligent two year old boy. And it appears as though my sister likes you too."
