[Kumizu]

She has telepathy? I forgot... "Telling people that there are others worse off is about as effective as 'Time heals all wounds'. As for knowing a secret of mine... not here. Not right now. One reason I came to this high school was to get away from my past."

Kumizu knew better than to think that he would be safe here forever, but for the time being he was content... almost. He was sure that the artifact connected him to... that man when it "possessed" him, for lack of a better word. He hoped it would be a long time before anyone got any first-hand knowledge of his past.

Ayise looked him for a long moment and smiled as if she were plotting something, still, saying nothing she rocked back on her heels and hummed. Stoping to yawn and stretch after a few notes.

"I need to get more sleep...do you know I play violin?...I've been practicing a lot lately...Maybe I should see a doctor about that- You should come hear me play. Or maybe go to the beach, but you'd outswim me, it'd be an unfair advantage, or...Hey, Kumi-chan, can you absorb salt water too? I could beat you in a guessing game or...picking flowers-Why can't I have whatever's in that bottle, huh? Oh, I guess it's a secret, Hey do you like lizards? I do, I want an iguana. Come hear me play!"

Her thoughts and ramblings managing to run the gamut, going from sleeping, playing the violin, performing, secrets, doctors, swimming, lizards and iquanas, salt water, flowers, guessing, whining for him to come hear her perform, and pestering him about an earlier conversation.

Her smile unnerved Kumizu, and sure enough, she started rambling again. At this point Kumizu realized her telepathy wasn't the only thing she had that surprised him. She also had ADHD. He wanted Seiya back. At least she didn't ramble... he hoped.

"The bottle's empty," he lied, "I'm not a sponge, I don't want a lizard, and you'll keep annoying me until I hear you play, won't you?" He wished she played the clarinet, or flute, or some instrument that wouldn't allow her to talk and play at the same time.

Katie continued reading, she stopped, and put it back into her bag. There was a slight wind coming towards her, as it blew her hair back; she started to think about what it would be like here.

"Seiya's sulking, who know's where she is?" Aysie shrugged, "Liar, Liar. Plant's for hire. What's wrong with lizards? They're adorable."

"-And yes, I'll just keep bugging you until you hear me play." She added, "I do play the flute, clarinet, oboe, recorder, saxaphone, trumpet, and piano, but I only like playing the violin."

ADHD seemed likely, she was keeping track of everything he was saying and responding to it, although it came out in a random order, she pulled on his arm. "Let's go to the Music Hall. Please?" She asked like a child, "It's really the only way to get me to stop whining."

Great. She's reading my mind again. Fine, hear this. GET OUT! Get out of my head! That was something he needed to talk to a teacher about: putting a mental "wall" of sorts around his thoughts.

He could think of a lot of ways to get her to stop whining, but all of them were either violent or just ineffective. He sighed. "Okay, okay. We'll go to the Music Hall." Kumizu had a feeling he would regret this...

"It was an accident, Geez. You're like my mother." She blew a rasberry at him, then skipped a few feet away, out of range of his anger, "YAY! Kumi-chan, you shall not regret this. Seeing and Hearing a performance from me is a great honor." She nodded, "Rare indeed, an event not to be forgotten." Now, she sounded like an ad agent, she looked over her shoulder, "Let's move it slow poke."

Kumizu opened his mouth to respond, but she was already skipping away. Yup. This wouldn't go well. "Rare? Oh, boy, I can't wait." He stood up. "You forget that I use a cane." Again, she was already skipping away, probably out of earshot. Sighing, he ran as best he could to catch up to her.

Faia nodded to Rain, "I had to hide it after Papa passed." She replied, "Though strange disasters always happened to the houses I went to." She shrugged, "I wonder if I ever had anything to do with that tornado." She thought back to the memory of her first foster house, it was clouded in pain. "Who knows," She sighed, "Where do you come from?"

Once in the courtyard and at the tree, Taqune puts the stuff down and starts on the box for her. It was big enough for her neko and full cat forms. He was down with the base of it in no time since he used his speed to move much faster than humanly possible. Once the sides were built he put those in place."Now we have to get it into the tree..."He looked up he remembered how hard it was for him to get his up there but this would be much easier."I'll get up in the tree and you need to throw me one end of the rope i bought. Tie the other end to the bed. I'll hoist it up and set it in place."

She smirked at his blushing. When he told her they were almost there, she frowned a little. She liked being off school grounds. It felt like she had a little freedom. Once back at the tree, she watched as Taqune worked quickly, having everything finished in a matter of minutes. Listening as he gave her instructions, she nodded. "Are you sure you can pull it by yourself? Because I can always tie it first and then come help you." She offered. Then again, she shouldn't underestimate his strength. She was pretty strong herself, and he was bigger than her, so there was no telling.

"Positive Serika." Once she tied the rope her pulled up the bed slowly so as not to damage it in anyway. One it was up high enough he pulled it inot position, it took a little muscle but nothing he couldn't handle. The bed was next to his, though he did move his to where they would go together.He also built it where they would fit together as well. "Okay how does this look?" He sat in his bed adn looked over the edge,"if its looks okay from down there come up here and give it a try don't forget the big pillows as well." Taqune waited for her to get into her bed and try it out.

Watching as Taqune pulled up her bed slowly, she saw as he moved it around, and adjusted it into place. Looking up from where she was standing on the ground, she nodded. "It looks wonderful." Grabbing the bag of pillows, she put it into her mouth, like a feral cat who had caught it's meal. Climbing in, she looked around and smiled. Placing the pillows on her bed, she went to hug Taqune. The first real contact she had ever had. "Thank you so much. Now I won't have to stay in a place where I feel like I'm being watched." She pulled back slowly, unsure of his reaction.

Taqune smiled and ruffled her hair,"Your welcome Serika, all people have to do is ask for help or want help and I'll help them. It also helped that you are the same as me." Taqune chuckled and grinned,"So the only one who can see you is me when your up here and not many people know that I live up here." He looked around for a moment. "So what was with our tails twisting together?" he tilted his head slightly, he was playing like he was nieve, but thats standard Taqune trying to get the other person to admit something that they are hiding.

She laughed when he ruffled her hair, and didn't bother to fix it. It was unruly enough as it is. "Well, then I guess I must be thankful for being born the freak of nature that I am. And I'm glad that you are the only one who can see me. People staring at me is one thing, but interaction is more than I can handle at the moment." She said, politely, and quietly. When he asked about their tails twisting together she went blank, but then smiled. "You see, my tail has this twitching problem." She joked, before going serious. "The truth is, Taqune, I feel overly comfortable with you. I feel like I could bare the world to you, and you would just...understand me. I'm not one for affection. I don't understand anything about it. That was the only way I thought I could express something like that to you." She said truthfully. Serika was like that. If she was thinking something, she would say it straight out. No sugar-coating it.
