[Krazy Kaori]

Kana shifted her gaze back to the sky, the soft smile remaining upon her face as she stared at the stars. She saw the blue and black butterfly twirling around in the air, but made no move to capture it again. She just watched instead, completely silent. Her ears, which had flattened back, suddenly perked again as her attention shifted back to him. Her head tilted slightly as he fumbled with his words and she waited patiently for him to finish his sentence. When he did, she felt her eyes widen in surprise. She'd never heard of someone asking someone else that before, much less imagined that person being herself! She stared at him for a moment, thinking it over in her mind. For so long, it'd just been her and her mother, so the thought was amazing... She slowly nodded her head, a warm smile covering her face. "Ok," she said softly.

Koichi smiled and put his hand on her head once again. "Well, that's a releif. I thought you were going to reject me for a moment," he grinned. "Well, now that I'm your older brother, you can expect that no ones going to ever hurt you, okay?" he said gently, knowing that she was so hostile because something most have happened to her in the recent past. Oh jeez, he's gone and done the unthinkable, the voice said sarcastically although aggitated as though Koichi couldn't hear him, Just please find some other flesh, then, and soon.

Kana stared at him a moment longer, then bowed her head. Her ears drooped slightly, but she was still smiling brightly. She slowly brought her hands up, the bag looped around her wrist, and rubbed lightly at her eyes. They'd begun filling up with tears, and she was trying to hide it. "I-I must have gotten something in my eyes," she said softly, making up a poor excuse. "Hold on a second..." After a moment, she still had her hands pressed to her face, which was quickly reddening. She let out a weak laugh, directed towards herself. She felt dumb, but she couldn't help crying. She was so happy to hear those words.

Mirror ran out the door of the main campus in a clear state of pure bliss, she had just gotten asked on a date with this really cute guy and she couldn't wait! Twirling around in circles, she stared up at the sun with a huge smile on her face, tired and slightly dizzy, she went to sit down on the edge of the fountain. Pulling of her black leggings and unlacing her boots, she leaped in and began to dance around in circles, as the cool spray from the water spewing out the top soaked her hair and clothes.

Koichi smiled, knowing she was happy. "Don't give your brother that excuse," he chuckled, "It's okay to cry, Kitty. I hope you know that," he added, knowing what she was trying to hide. "Come now, let's get away from the mooshy stuff and go back to... what were we doing again?" he asked, having forgotten the whole stroll through the park idea; it was pointless now, really, since she was his younger sister. You're a fool, Koichi, a fool. The voice was aggitated, and anyone who could hear it by entering his mind could tell.

Kana nodded her head, slowly pulling her hands away. Her face was damp, but she was still smiling through the tears. She wiped them away as best she could and then let her arms drop back by her sides. "Right," she said quietly, then glanced around. "We were... just walking." Her ears perked again as her eyes flicked towards the butterfly, which was still hovering around. She smiled happily and then looked towards Koichi. "So what now?" she laughed, shifting lightly in place. Her tail resumed it's energetic swinging behind her.

Koichi thought for a moment; what the hell could the possibly do now? "I... don't know, actually," he laughed, slightly embarrassed. "I'd say let's go get that room now, but I know you'd rather wait that off until you absolutely need to get one," he said, continuing to think, "so I seriously don't know..." He looked around the courtyard, the building on one side and the expanding feild on the other; what else could this school possibly have that would surve as fun to the two of them?

Kana paused, recovering now from the short cry as she glanced around. The bag slipped from her wrist and back into her grasp as she tilted her head thoughtfully. What was there to do? "Well..." she began slowly. "Where have you not been yet? I've been to the hotsprings, beach, couryard, and... playground," she mumbled, a little embarassed by that last one. It probably seemed like somewhere she'd obviously go, but she quickly shook it off and kept her eyes upon him. "If you want to go to any of those places, I could find them easily! Or we could explore somewhere new."

Stepping out of the fountain, Mirror shook the excess water of her cold and clammy skin, shivering she walked back to the bench and wrapped her scarf around her body to warm herself. Even sitting outside alone, and freezing she was still as chipper as ever.

Koichi blushed slightly, scratching a spot on his cheek. "Sadly, I haven't really been anywhere," he admited softly. He thought for a moment, though, hearing the places she had been to so far. "The playground sounds like fun... that, or we can go off campus again," he suggested, wondering which she'd pick. Thinking back, he realized he hadn't been to a playground in a long time; since before he went back to Japan, he'd have to say. Although, going off campus would mean he could take his new sister not only shopping, but to eat; she probably was hungry by now... or wasn't she?

Kana blinked, then bowed her head again as she thought to herself. She wasn't sure if he'd want to go to a playground, but then again, it was nice to visit one even if you were older. Though, she also suddenly realized it was already night time and she hadn't seen him eat at all. She hated to think she'd kept him from doing so. "Um," she began slowly. "I just remembered I've been to the mall before too, only once and to get this swimsuit." She laughed softly, poking at the bit that could be seen under her shirt. "I don't know if you'd rather go there." She slipped a hand into her pocket, checking to make sure she had at least a little money on her.

Koichi raised an eyebrow at her. "You're a bad liar, you know that?" he smirked. "Now, make up your mind as to where we're going," he teased. He knew she was worrying about him, but he was perfectly fine with either choice she made. If you go the mall, you're going to just have fun buyinig her something despite her protests, aren't you? the voice asked suddenly, laughing quick loudly enough to take up his thoughts. Although, I like the playground at points, said the voice somewhat pervertedly, After all, there are girls that wear skirts... it traild off.

"I wasn't lying!" Kana protested, pouting slightly. But then she grinned and spoke her idea aloud. "How about... We go eat, and then we can work it off at the playground!" Since she honestly could not decide which to go to, they might as well visit both, right? Unless he grew tired of it and wanted to go home, in which case she hoped he wouldn't feel the need to stay. She knew she had more energy than a lot of people, and didn't want to keep him out too long or something. He'd say if he wanted to go back, right? she told herself, then nodded. Of course he would. Though, she wasn't really sure.

Koichi nodded his head, chuckling. "If you insist," he stated simply. "However, I say dinner is my treat since I was the one that asked you suddenly to be my sister," he smirked, wondering if she could find a way out of it. He started off, though, in the direction he knew to be off campus; he'd passed it once on the way to the beach the first time he went. He looked over his shoulder, waiting to see if she was following him or not; if she wasn't, he'd go back and pick her up and carry her if he had to. After all, he wondered how shock or flabergasted she'd be from his dib on paying.

[[edit: aww crap. I have to go >< sorry! I'll be back on tomorrow. oh, and incase i forget, i'll be gone most of sudnay because my cuz is having a 'American's B-day' (it was fun saying that) block party and they asked us to go, so yeah xP oki, talk to you tomorrow, Kaori-chan. I'm sorry again]]

Kana froze, eyes widening. "Ah, you can't!" she cried, pausing as she saw he'd already started moving. She hesitated, biting her lip as she took a step towards him, then stopped and took a step back. She repeated this movement a few times, ultimately getting nowhere and finding that her face was growing very red. She probably looked like an idiot. She frowned and then darted off after him, stopped slightly behind him. "You can't pay for mine!" she protested again. "I-I have money! And you... you already gave me this bag!" she added, trying to think of excuses.
