Courtyard (South)

Karin blinked as she took in his words. Manipulate? she thought uncertainly, then pushed it aside for now. She saw he was watching her again and frowned slightly, trying to figure out what to do. What did a person usually do when showing their power? Did they start with something simple or try to go big and impress? She decided on starting simple as she held out her hand. She closed her eyes just for a second to focus better and soon a small drop appeared in her hand. The water quickly spread, until it threatened to leak over the side of her hands, which were cupped together. But instead of pouring over the sides, it continued piling upwards, as if there was an invisible wall holding the liquid in place. She finally stopped when it was about a foot eye and shifted her gaze from what she'd done to Suka.

Suka watched her as she had done this and smiled as she had showed him this sort of thing once before. "Show me the thing that's hardest for you to do" he said this and movd his gaze from the water to her face. He wanted her to show him the full extent of her powers so that she could be more easily compared to the ones he'd sen before. "Or...we could do a little sparring to find out...no strings attached sort of thing? Whichever would be best for you, either way is fine with me..."

Karin paused for a moment, trying to think of something hard. Shaping it into a specific something was difficult for her... She closed her eyes again as an image came to mind and the water in her hands slowly began to shape itself. After a moment, it lifted from her grasp as well, the water shifting into wings and a small body. The wings seemed to have small designs in them and after a minute a butterfly floated just above her still cupped hands, wings flapping gently as thought it was actually flying. She smiled at it and then tilted her head towards Suka. "I don't have much experience in fights," she mumbled. She knew that probably sounded odd considering what she'd told him of her past, but those bullies didn't count to her as real opponents.

Suka watched the butterfly andsmiled when she was finished. "Well...that's okay then...if you worked on using your powers in fights you'd probably be able to do a lot more then you can now. I've never seen anyone make water from nothing like you did...that'd be a plus in a fight." he said this and then nodded smiling. "If you ever learn to create your own techniques ou'll be one tough cookie" he said this and laughed. "Do you use any weapons at all?"

Karin smiled and laughed at the cookie comment. That phrase had always been amusing to her, but she liked it at the same time. She was a bit surprised to find he hadn't seen others able to make water just appear like that, though she didn't mention it aloud. Instead she focused upon his next question. She held her hand out, holding it up. "Just my claws," she said and then added after a moment's pause. "And my fangs if I'm desperate enough." She frowned faintly and then shook her head. "But other than that I don't have anything."

Sehrun moved through the courtyard with blinding speed. His scarf-like cloak flailing behind him was too loud for him to do anything for fun. Instead he leapt into a tree and crouched on his feet resting upon the branch. His cloak fell below him like a blanket and rested there. He observed the two talking and had no emotion on his face.

Silently he unravelled his cloak and used a little bit of wind to spread it out. He covered his body then made a few hand symbols. "Silent Wind!" An unearthly wind rose about his body and carried him into the air. Shortly after a cloud surrounded his body making his illusion complete. All that appeared to those around him was a small cloud moving around in the sky, leaving him the perfect opportunity to observe the two on the ground.

Suka nodded "I used to be that way too...as of now I usually only use my daggers unless it's just a spar. Getting too close can be dangerous and though it's most effective you could really get hurt....if you're just sparring it's better not to get hurt." he said this kind of rambling, he missed coaching how to fight as he had done a few years back just for the fun of it. He'd helped out a few people and if she'd allow it he'd help her out....it just seemed so far to him that she was not the fighting type and so he did not think to just offer.

Karin blinked, head jerking around suddenly as she thought she saw someone dash past and leap into a nearby tree. They were very fast... Her ears tilted towards him curiously as her tail swished behind her. She stared at the male for a moment before frowning and looking back to Suka. "I don't know..." she said after a moment. She knew he was right about getting too close to someone. He seemed to really know what he was talking about. Her head tilted to the right, hair covering that eye as she dropped her hands back into her pocket to play with the X. The water butterfly remained floating around her head, moving in circles. "Do you think it'd be better if I did learn?" she asked after a moment. "How to defend myself better, I mean?" She'd done it plently of times against the bullies of home, but she knew they were weak and wasn't sure how well she'd fare in a real fight.  

[Sehrun_Geoste]

Sehrun soared into the air and made the illusion vanish and he steadily fell to the ground. He tied his cloak back around his neck like a scarf and landed with little impact. He stood up slowly and looked at the two talking with his pupil-less gold eyes. He made no motion towards them and turned around and quickly made distance to practice.

He drew his dagger and began to dash back and forth using his dagger like a weapon in a combo. He mixed in his feet and throwing daggers, and used the wind to make the throwing daggers function like a boomerang. Through all the practice his sapphire necklace began to glow brightly, and his crystal amulet as well.

"You want out boy?" He asked touching the amulet. The amulet made shining patterns in response to his question. "Alright." He blew on the amulet and out flew a golden falcon. It soared into the sky stretching its wings and then flew back down onto Sehrun's raised hand. "It's about bloody time you let me out of there. I'm supposed to help with your training remember?" The falcon spoke with an english accent. "Yeah I know."

Suka nodded "Of course it would be better...it's all up to you though. I could teach you...I could teach you a lot if you really wanted to learn." he said the last part in a confident and accomplished tone of voice and then smiled shrugging. "That's one thing I know a lot about teaching to people.....fending for yourself." he said that quietly and then smiled. He shrugged now again though and another nightmare energy orb came out from nowhere beside him, he didn't mean to do it but it did and so he sent it off quick in some random direction. coincidenitailly it went into the same direction as Sehrun was.

Karin became distracted once again as she saw the male reappear, now on the ground. Her golden eyes followed him, narrowing sightly to see even as he moved away. She blinked as she saw the knives come back to him and tilted her head. He controls wind? she thought, the idea of his teaching Kana instantly entering her head. But she couldn't ask a stranger something like that- Her thought stopped instantly as she saw the falcon appear from his necklace and take to the sky before landing again. Her eyes followed it, ears flattening back for a moment until Suka snapp hed her out of it.

She quickly turned back to face him, regaining her composure. She took in his words, considered them for a moment, and then nodded her head. "I think I could use some tips," she said with a smile. Her eyes flicked to the orb as it appeared, then followed it as he sped towards the male. "What are you doing?" she asked, eyes widening slightly.

He shrugged and turned to look at the orb of energy nticing that it had been sent at a person which really made him laugh but he cut himself short of that as he watched the orb flash off like that. it split and he sighed "Crap...I don't know what I'm doing....I jut sent it off to do it's own thing." He pulled the dagger out from his other pants and held it in his hand splitting it into three different ones and tossing them all off at the orbs, hoping not to actually destroy them but for the whirring of the daggers to catch the guys attention. IF they did not catch his attention then he would probably end up getting hit. HE decided not to worry aobut it though and turned back to her. "When should we start?"  

[Sehrun_Geoste]

Sehrun stood motionless until the hairs on the back of his neck rose. Instantly his falcon flew off to avoid the attack and landed on Karin's head. Instinctly Sehrun jumped out of the energy orb's path, spinning along the way. In mid-air he threw a dagger aimed at the man's face and landed. "Sehrun! Stop the dagger!" The falcon called out.

Sehrun looked up and raised his hand. "Kissaki Wind!" A strange wind current appeared in front of suka's face that instantly sucked in the dagger and made it fly into his hand. The current vanished slowly and Sehrun rose to his feet. He stormed over to Suka and stood in his face. "Have you no mind to watch your surroundings?" He said in a calm manner.

Sehrun took no care into hearing what the man said and simply moved away. "Asrin, let's go." He turned away and walked back to his practice area. "Yes sir, right away." The falcon flew off of Karin's head and rested on Sehrun's shoulder. Sehrun then stopped and turned to Karin, "You seem to have something on your mind... What is it?"

Karin blinked at the orb, jumping slightly as it split into more. She glanced back at Suka uncertainly, watching in surprise as the dagger split as well. Then her eyes followed them as he tossed them all towards the orbs. She reluctantly looked back towards Suka again as he spoke and shrugged slowly. "Anytime is fine..." she said slowly, turning her attention back towards him again. Though, her ears remained tilted towards the other male, wondering and hoping he'd be able to dodge. He had been training though, so she assumed he'd notice them coming.

She nearly jumped out of her skin as she falcon landed on her head and her hand came up instinctly, stopping just before clawing it as she realized it was the bird. "Wh-what are you doing?" she stammered in alarm. Why would a bird of any sort land willingly upon a cat demon? She watched the next sequence of events in a kind of daze, breaking out of it again as she felt the bird leave. She blinked at the man as he spoke to her, eyes slightly wide still. "U-um..." she began uncertainly. "I just... you control wind?"
