Nova Blancke Despite being half asleep he knew a compliment when he heard. But being the way he was, he still couldn't keep a straight face after hearing a genuine compliment. He rubbed the back of his head with a slight blush on his face and looked away.
"Well..I'm uhh glad you enjoyed that." He replied
Not standing around long enough to look like an complete fool he hurried over tot the sink to wash his face. And that cold water was just what he needed.
"So ....did you wake up here or ..somewhere else again?" He carefully asked. She looked down and thought she would leave him in suspense. "That I shall answer when we're on our way over to the spar." with that she strolled out of the bathroom letting Theonis finish getting ready. In the mean time she started warming up with stretches, crunches then push ups and then one hand stand push ups.

"Hmm alright" As he was brushing his teeth, he pulled himself closer to the mirror to look at his eyes. Theonis had never really bothered looking at them himself but he had to admit that they looked kinda nice. Plus how many people have gold colored eyes? But then he spotted something unusual in his hair. Or to be more exact, it was his hair that was odd. First off it was a bit longer than he remembered it to be.
He quickly finished brushing his teeth so he could take a better look at it. He knew he wasn't mistaken the first time when he saw it. Brushing aside the surrounding hair he took a closer look. A few gold colored hairs were clearly visible. After further inspection he noticed that it wasn't limited to one area on his head. How...odd.
When he exited his bathroom he saw Trinity doing a few exercises. Warming-ups no doubt. Pulling his blouse from across the room towards him or rather...pushing it towards him. While buttoning up he asked Trinity."Say....how many reported cases are there of a Meta who's mutation keeps going? " He carefully asked but trying to avoid raising suspicion towards himself but somehow he knew that would be exactly what was going to happen.

Trinity got back to her feet and loosened up her arms a little. "On going mutations? Well I know my mutation took more than one day, but it didn't go any further than that. Though anything is possible as far as being a meta is concerned but, I don't know of any such mutations reported. I'm not sure if I have run into one and just not know it. Gidget may be better to answer that."

"I see..." He said absentmindedly while puting his hair in a low ponytail. He was hoping those strains of hair wouldn't be too visible.
"Well then...shall we go my Lady? " He said to her with his usual playful tone as he took a elegant bow.

Trinity normally didn't get this kind of treatment and blushed as Theonis bowed. She nodded and said, "Yes". As they head out the door and head toward the training facility, "About on-going mutation, I could only imagine how difficult it would be for one. Not knowing from one day to the next what would change whether it be a limb or loss of another power or trait... why bring it up in the first place Theonis?" she did wonder, for it was such a specific subject.

Deora_Alvarez Deora's eye fluttered open as the artificial lights simulated the sunrise. For some reason, she still expected to find herself on the dirty mattress in the corer of an unused room in an abandoned building. Instead, she was in a spotless room shared by a girl with fox ears in an underground complex designed to house people with strange powers. Either way, she recognized that her life had, by most standards, become weird. She swung he legs out of bed and sat up, rubbing sleep out of her eyes. Her violet hair was disheveled, something she would fix later, but for now, she could only focus on forcing herself out of bed. After a shower and a change of clothes, she was feeling better. On a whim, she deiced to make eggs, the only thing she could really cook for breakfast. It was either that, cereal, or a trip to the cafeteria, which wasn't something that appealed to her so early in the morning. Besides, Kerana said she had school, and maybe this would help.

"Morning, Kerana. I only know how to make eggs, omelets, and bacon, but I figured you'd want something good before school." Deora said, cracking a pair of eggs into the skillet. "How would you like yours?"
She had already cooked her own, they sat on a plate next to the stove, covered with pepper and still sizzling lightly next to three strips of bacon. She's been overjoyed to find the bacon next to the eggs in the refrigerator; eggs just weren't breakfast without bacon in her eyes.

"I suppose there is no need hide it. Since that might backfire on me." He took a small pause." I asked because it is kind of happening to me. Before i started training my powers i was pretty normal and now i barely need sleep or food, learn ridiculously fast and my hair is changing color. Got a few golden strains right now." Theonis expained as he pointed at bis hair.

"Are you sure about that Theonis? The little sleeping and eating could be part of adjusting to Valhala, the learning curve, I thought you mentioned that when you first arrived here, as for the blond hair... How long ago were you hit by the meteor?" she tried to see if she could comfort him to reasure that this was not on-going, that it isn't all as bad as it seems.

"Bout a month ago, the not needing a lot of food part was already part of the initial mutation along with my normal power and eyes. I didn't gain my other traits until after I seriously started using my power. Now it's the hair." He said with a sigh." I don't know ....maybe it's just some kind of delayed reaction. Either that or I am the opposite of Shane who had a natural resistance."
"No need to worry about it I suppose. Right now I need to find a way to beat you without seriously injuring you." He did not try to sound arrogant but he knew that if he didn't watch out with his growing powers he might just accidentally do just that.

Trinity nodded at his suggestion to not worry about it for now, yet she didn't want to completely dismiss it. She decided that when she next meets up with Gidget she would ask about such conditions, for she knew when it comes to being a meta don't count anything out.
"Injuring me? Heh, if we're doing this spar without powers you won't have much worry there. Did you originally had in mind doing this with our powers?"

"I'll have sunny side up please!" she said in her most sunny disposition. She stretched out and let out a yawn. Then she waled over to their mailbox which was a shoot that lead to the box by the door. She found there was an orientation packet for Deora. "Hey Deora, your school orientation packet is here. It will let you know when you take a test so that you'll be placed in the right grade level and also when you start." she placed the packet on Deora's seat. She head toward the kitchen, "I'll get the drinks what do you want to drink Deora?"

"I think it would be fair for me to use it slightly. I mean your body can endure 120 times gravity if I am not mistaken. Which means that your muscles and bones are a lot harder then mine. I'll just use mine to reduce impact of your punches at first since I will most likely be a punching bag the first couple of minutes." Theonis confessed.
"I am kind of afraid to actually use my power against you. Because I know the kind of devastation it can cause at full power. I am also not sure how much force is being each attack. Think I need to practice on that."
It did bother him. If he were to spar with powers he felt like he could over power anyone. Well most people. He only lost because Annie and Shane caught him off-guard with their teamwork. That was what he believed anyway.
Soon they arrived at the training facility.
"But enough about my fear of my own power. Let's see how fast I can catch your rhythm".

"Wait, I have to go to school?" Deora asked, forgetting the eggs for a moment. She hadn't gone to school since the meteor strike, even before her powers started showing. The thought of going back to school never occurred to her, she figured she'd learned everything she needed on the streets. She already knew enough basic math, and had great reading skill in bock English and Spanish. What more was needed?
"I, uh, I'll just take some orange juice." She said, going back to tending Kerana's eggs.

"Alrighty! Tew orange juices coming up! cat_xd " she takes two short glasses from the cupboard. Then she pulled the orange juice out swishing her tail while doing so. Her tail held still as she poured in each glass carefully, making sure they were even. She took the glasses over to the table and realized she forgot to put down the coaster. Not a real problem when you have a tail. She picked up and placed the coasters one by one placing them down carefully then place a glass on one of each.
After that she placed the forks, knives and napkins. "All set!"
