Courtyard (South)

Karin watched as he flinched and then approached her, her hands tensing warily as she prepared to use her claws if needed. But she stared back, refusing to blink. Her ears perked again as she took in his words and she stayed silent as she did. Once he was done, she bowed her head, now facing the ground. "Demons are no different," she mumbled. "My parents were killed by fellow demons and I would have been killed too, if they'd known I was in the house." Her eyes followed as he walked over to the branch and stood on the bottom side of it.

Then she sighed, glancing at the falcon again as he dropped the necklace around her. She nodded slowly, eyes shifting back to the male. "I understand..." she said softly. "But he's blowing things out of proportion and making too big a deal. Everyone has horrible things to deal with, but no everyone feels the need to wipe out entire races after that thing happens." Her hand found her side again, covering just a portion of the scar there, which was hidden beneath her sweatshirt, and she simply gazed at the ground. Her tail swished behind her, but otherwise she stood perfectly still. She still had the strange scent of blood and flowers in her nose, so she didn't quite realize Suka was bleeding as badly as he was just yet.

Suka listened to them and seeing as Sehrun was now standing upside down on a branch that belongsed to a tree not far from his own he thought he might make a comment on what Sehrun was saying. He kept from doing it though because hearing people's sob stories was fun to do and though laughing at it in his face would befun too he was sure he'd get in trouble with Karin for more then one reason if he did. I would draw her attention to him again and if she listened to what he said then it would probably counter the way she would act towards the man. He thought on all of this as he continued to try and get the new spinning right without watching his hand. He couldn't keep from it anylonger though and instead of taking heed the warning he gave himself he looked over at Sehrun and called out to him something he'd not planned to in the first place. "And does kindness really matter?" He spoke so KArin could not hear but ince Sehrun was closer then her he could. "A world without kindness would be much better then the other way around don't oyu think.....there'd be no such thing as pain.....there'd be no difference between pain and normality...would there?"

Sehrun looked at her and noticed her hand moving to her side as she did before. He had to find out what she was touching. "SURIKE EYE!" He opened his eyes wide and his eyes changed to a green grid with a blue pupil in center. Through his eyes everything was being digitally analyzed. He looked at Karin and saw all her weak spots and saw her scar as well.

He frowned and accidentally fell on his head. He sat up and shook his head to stop being dizzy. He stood up and ran nearby her and kneeled down next to her, in front of the scar. "It seems you have quite a scar there... I'm guessing it's from the ones who hunted your family..." His eyes returned to normal and he looked up into Karin's eyes. "Mind if i take a look?"

Karin was still staring almost blankly at the ground, turning his words over in her head. It didn't make sense to her. No matter what had happened, there was no reason to try doing something that extreme. She looked up sharply as she heard him hit the ground and she stared at him for a moment. Her first instinct was to ask if he was alright, but she decided she was still a bit too angry to do that just yet. However, she blinked as he approached and her eyes widened slightly at his words. "Y-you can see...?" she stammered in surprise, grip tightening slightly over it. She stared at him a moment more before looking away. Silently, she unzipped her sweatshirt and pulled it off of that one arm. Then she slowly rolled up her shirt a bit. The scar was visible now, but you couldn't see the entire thing. It began at her waist and didn't end until just under her armpit, and she wasn't willing to raise her shirt that high, despite the fact she was wearing a swimsuit top under her shirt still. She watched the floor anxiously as she just stood there. "It's not from those people..." she said softly. "It's from the ones who always bullied me and my friend."

Sehrun stared at the scar and then looked back at Suka sitting under a tree. His words were true to his current, hate-filled mind, but to his inner good they were lies. "Suka, without kindness, there would be no such thing as purpose in life... Kindness is what we all live for... It's something i live without..." He returned his attention to the scar and observed it slowly. It must've been really old to have already changed its appearance. It had no blood marks, it just seemed like pale skin on her body. "Karin, i know it's hard to ask of you, but... If you can find it in your heart to forgive those who did this to you and let me take on the burden... then i can heal this scar and make it nothing but a memory."

Asrin stared at Sehrun confused and went through his mind to find what He was talking about. Suddenly he came across a memory done by Sehrun's master and his falcon eye's grew large and his voice boomed, "Are you mad master Sehrun?! Do not even-" Asrin was cut off by his own accord when Sehrun raised his favorite treat, a rat. "Fetch boy." He tossed it into the air and a gust of wind carried it off, Asrin following shortly after.

Karin ears perked as she listened to him speaking to Suka, her head tilting slightly. She hadn't heard what Suka said originally, but she guessed it was probably something like their talk of family and memories earlier. She frowned faintly, looking over at him. Then her eyes widened suddenly. Now that he held her attention, the scent of his blood hit her strongly. She stared for a moment almost in shock. "Wh-what are you doing?" He was on the other side of the tree, with his back to them, so she couldn't see. Though, she had a fairly good idea what it was.

She frowned, but was distracted again by Sehrun's words. She looked back to him sharply, eyes still wide. "U-um..." she began uncertainly. Get rid of the scar? Forgive those jerks for all those years of torment? And these words were coming from him, the one who couldn't seem to forgive humans for their actions. Her eyes flicked towards the falcon, watching as it was cut off and gave chase to the rat. She frowned again, lowering her shirt. "I don't know..." she said nervously. "How... do you even get rid of scars?"

"Kindness is a waste of time..." Suka said and then just listened noticing he had not cut himself for a while and was only bleeding from the wounds that were still there. He stopped spinning the dagger and put his hand down in the blood and noticed all too late that one of the larger, older buts had begun to seal itself before he'd touched the puddle. It completely sealed itself on contact and then the blood from the other wounds quickly sealed those wounds but not half as fast as the first one had and so all of the blood that had come from that specific wound stayed on the ground. His eyes were still indigo, though he did not know this for he never payed attention to that sort of thing so the blood did not just sit there but shot through his arm by path of another wound and he never saw it coming. "s**t!" he shouted this loud enough for half the courtyard to hear and then grabbed a rather large knife from a pocket that was on the inside of his pants, accessible by the foot. He stabbed himself hard at where he felt the blood moving, but it was too fast for him so he could not get all of the blood to bleedback out and what he could not get reached where they were headed...His eyes were filled with what blood had not beed bled out and each had a ring of blood that replaced the usual thick black outlining that seperated the iris from the whites of his eyes. Each of his eyes were outlined in dark red...the dark red truly being rings of blood. He stood up and looked as the blood had drained from his arm where he'd stabbed it and now he could not use the usual technique for healing himself. Suka looked around for something to wrap his arm in but could not find anything so he held his arm as he came out from where he sat, the knife being back in it's pocket by now. He had not payed much attention to the most of what had went on while he'd done this. His eyes were going to be indigo for a while now...and that wasn't a very good thing...not good at all...

Sehrun growled at Asrin for shouting out words of his actions. "I should've let the girl bite your head off!" As he yelled his fangs grew slightly longer revealing his true self a little bit. He turned back to Karin and nodded, "You can never get rid of scars... more so you can make them go somewhere else, and the pain along with it. But it can only be done with the consent of the person with the scar." He decided to give her an example so he began to take off his upper torso. He finished revealing many scars that looked very gruesome. "I am not one who is careless to get all these scars. I have simply performed the skill two times, once to help my younger sister, and the other to try to resurrect someone... but i was unable to do it..."

Sehrun looked down and Asrin returned and rested upon his shoulder. "Master, you might want to look out for that man, Suka, he's giving off strange but powerful energy signatures." He rose to his feet and stood in front of Karin and stared at Suka. He drew his amethyst dagger and prepared for a fight. "Do try not to fight my lord." Sehrun smiled. "But of course Asrin."

Karin's ear twitched as she caught Suka's first word concerning kindness and she bit her lip for a moment, dropping her gaze to the ground. But, she pushed away the oncoming thoughts and raised her head again shortly after. She stared through still slightly widened eyes as she took in Sehrun's words, and watched in silence as he revealed several scars of his own. She also noted the fangs, though she didn't say anything about them. She was a little confused, having thought he was human. Did humans have fangs?

"So you... transfer them to yourself?" she said softly and then bowed her head. "Well then, I don't mind keeping mine." She slipped her left arm back into the sleeve of her sweatshirt and zipped it up again. She considered his comment of resurrecting someone and was kind of relieved when he said it failed. To her, the dead were meant to stay dead. You should let them rest in peace after they're gone and keep them alive in your memories instead.

She looked up sharply as Suka suddenly let out a loud curse and and shifted slightly to see him better. She jumped in alarm as he stabbed himself, her eyes wide again. "Wh-what are you doing?" she exclaimed, starting towards him, but stopped as Sehrun moved in front of her. She frowned and peered around him instead, eyes focused upon Suka.

Suka blinked as he saw the dagger in Sehrun's hand as he continued to walk. He did not know whether he was being sarcastic when he said what he did to his bird but he was not one to take chances. He pulled both the Multiplying dagger and his usual dagger out from his pants pockets and held them there as his arm continued to bleed new blood. "Even injured this would be over quick...but only because I'm in this condition..." he said this and stood thee quietly with both daggers in his hands for protection just in case. He'd recalled hearing Karin speak and looked over to her from where he stood. "I screwed up...had to bleed out unwanted blood. I didn't catch it all......" he said this to her and then returned most of his attention to Sehrun. He hoped Sehrun would not attack but he fetlt he had no time for a fight at the moment and nly walked past him so that he was not in between him and Karin.

Karin frowned as her eyes followed Suka's movement and then she blinked in confusion. "Unwanted blood...?" she echoed, speaking mostly to herself, though she knew he'd be able to hear if he wanted. She bit her lip again as she saw Suka look back to Sehrun. Then she frowned, and stepped forward slightly. She didn't know what was going on, but she didn't want a needless fight to break out between them. Her water butterfly hovered around her head again as she watched Suka, uncertain of his intentions but glad he'd moved so Sehrun was no longer between them. "What are you doing?" she asked again, voice fainter this time. Her tail wound around her leg as her ears perked attentively to catch a response.

Suka looked down at him and from the angle he was to her he blood rings shined in the light. "What do you mean?" he asked this and then put up the multiplying dagger again, grabbing his arm to try and dtop it from bleeing everywhere. He truly didn't understand her question in it's vagueness. If he had not already told her what he thought she menat by the question the first time ten he ad no clue what to reply to her now. He was quiet though in wait for a response...he'd answer truthfully he just needed clarification of the query.

Karin blinked and moved towards him, stopping a couple feet in front. She paused for a moment, just staring at him quietly, until she finally opened her mouth to speak. "Why did you stab yourself with that dagger?" Her eyes shifted to his and widened slightly, seeing the rings shining. "And... what happened to your eyes?" she added softly, still staring into them. She took a step closer so she could see better, standing on her toes since he was taller.
