He got a hold of himself, he had a job to do and he wasn't going to let himself get distracted.

"Ok, now as for the amount of water, if 5 gallons is not enough then can you tell me approximately how much would be enough? Let's say in preparing for a trip that was an hour long?" He looked between Larry and Heather awaiting their answer.

Heather's tongue flicked out of her mouth, a tell that shows she is thinking about something. "Probably closer to twenty or thirty...yea, definitely thirty to be safe. I don't need much, in fact to be honest I enjoy the heat...I kinda have to. It's just my brother, I worry about him, y'know."

Larry slowly turned and looked down at his "big" sister. He reached over, deliberate and gently, and softly pat her head. "Love."

Heather's reptilian lips pulled into a smile as she looked back to her brother. "I love you too little bro."

"So what do you have planned for today? Any special events? Besides the relocation of our latest residents."

"However...Shane's level of protection is unknown to us. But due to the instability of his...current state. I think it will be high effective." Leonard took another drag."We are currently discussing a good delivery system for the weapon. But the general idea is making it laser guided since there is no way in hell that Shane will sit tight as we destroy him. Once it attaches itself to Shane it will stay on him. Like I said before it is still a prototype. The initial project consisted of a body armor that generated the field. But that obviously will not work."

Trinity didn't find the last joke funny, with a straight and distant face she responded, "right..." There have been quite a few that made the joke only to end up becoming an A Class.

She took a moment to check her smart phone, as he asked the latter. "Let's see there's breakfast, the social, meeting with my lieutenant to make sure he has everything he needs for our guests and meet with Gidget on the matters of Shane. I'll let know when that last one happens."

Shane nodded, agreeing with Annie's plan of action. He put the car into drive and looked over to Christian. "How're you handling those nuggets kiddo?"

He frowned slightly and then smiled, "I'm doing fine. They tasted amazing!" He stuck out his tongue at Annie and said, "See?"

She sighed sounding somewhat distracted, "We'll see how you are doing in a few hours."

Gidget raised an eyebrow. "Why wouldn't it work? Radiation affects living beings. So unless that radiation also disrupts electronics, then you have your pilot sitting right in front of you."Gidget turned her vital detection on, to see if there was any hint of Leonard lying.

Mitch smiled at the exchange. He could tell the two are very close.
"Thirty it is... we may need to have it railing behind on a cart or something but have some way to make sure he gets the water he needs when he needs it. I shall talk it over with logistics and see what we can do to make this happen." he said with a smile his canines were shown as he did so.

" Everyone will have 3 and a half floors all together." Trying to sound like he wasn't intrusive. "About Larry's sleeping arrangements. Does he normally sleep outside or does he share a room with you? I ask because other metas near his size tend to get claustrophobic when it comes to staying in a room, if he doesn't have a problem with that then we have made preparations. Either way I plan that you will not be far from him."

Heather shook her head. "Oh no, he sleeps inside all the time. The only thing about it is that he can't sleep laying flat. Because of his size he has trouble with apnea when he sleeps. Also, I need a heating rock and lamp for when it's cold."

She flicked her tongue out again. "Oh, and his room needs to be reinforced with padding. Sometimes he has bad dreams, and doesn't quite understand know his own strength when he gets scared."

Larry gave a slow and wide smile as he reached into his enormous pocket and pulled out an almost hilariously undersized bear.

"Bud." He declared.

Heather hopped in her seat. "Oh yea, and Bud has to be with him at night."

"A car seat, a couple loaves of bread, and a couple boxes of hair dye, a dark color with no hint of red," listed Annie. "That is the essentials. If you could pick up a change of clothes for myself, Gidget, Christian, and yourself that would also be a good idea. If that will take too long just grab the essentials."

This did not surprise him. However he was too much caught up in his thoughts that he had not considered it.

"I see. Then there would be no problems. We need to extend the field as far as we can so it would be big enough for two. But we can manage that." Leonard replied."You do realize that this will most likely be a certain kill for your brother?I'd hate to see you quit halfway through."

"Let me check my schedule..." she wanted to give him a hard time so there was a long pause as she looked over her schedule. Can't let him have everything on a silver platter. "Hmm... I don't know..." she said sounding doubtful, leading to another long pause. "I suppose there's enough time for that." She smiled as she saw the look of relief on his face.

But you just said you still needed breakfast! He thought she was just joking. The long pauses kind of threw him off. To him those small moments would be important since she would have work for the rest of the day. Sure she could come see him during that but he agreed that work would be more important. So he was relieved when she said she could.

"Good, because I do not know how often we can see each other today since you got work and I'll...well...I don't know what I will do yet. Guess training. Still got your record to beat." He said as they walked towards the cafeteria.

In the chaos of the previous day, during the attack on the Daedelus facility, Alexavier fried Cassandra from the clutches of Daedelus. In a way he saved himself from it. Now they were whole again. One but at the same time two. They were on the same side of the coin and yet...forced to be opposites. To be apart. He felt calm when he was around himself. She felt the same. As they held hands they walked through town, aimlessly wandering.

Alexander was currently paranoid person. Constantly looking over his head even though with his powers he wouldn't have to. Paranoid and quick to anger. After all...people were after them! They had to be!

Cassandra was spaced out. As if everything just passed right through her. Like her brother her long thick hair too was changing color every second like a constant fluorescent pulse. Her eyes were the same as her brother's as well. An almost chemical shade of green. Despite her captivity at Daedelus she looked great. Earlier she had walked into a lamppost and kept walking as it bent, eventually broke and fell down. It caused a bit of a commotion. One that was quickly terminated by her brother. Squeezing his hand very softly to get his attention she pointed towards the Walmart. Note that her soft and gentle squeeze can still break bones. But she really did her best not to do that to her brother. Her lover. Her other side. Cassandra never was one for a lot of talk.

Alexavier winced at her squeezing and almost cried it out. If he had not remembered that they were being watched by the eyes. The eyes that were everywhere. Watching their every move. He wouldn't like it if those eyes suddenly grew ears too. No that would be bad..very bad indeed.

"Alright fine! Come on!" He almost shouted at her in anger. Alexavier pulled her towards him as he entered Walmart. It was then that he sensed someone. Or rather...something.

It didn't take Shane long to return to the car with the cart full of supplies. He never was one to putz around in the supermarket. Even less so now that he was a wanted man (in the guise of a dead one).

As he walked back to the car, he couldn't help but feel optimistic. Thus far things had been going better than he had expected. Gidget was free, Annie and Christian were safe, and they were on their way to save his sister's soul from the machine that imprisoned it.

Shane smiled awkwardly and waved as he came back to the car. His smile became a bit more genuine when his sister returned his wave in a much more excited manner. He started with the car seat first, left a loaf of bread in the car, and placed the rest of the items in the trunk.

The trunk lid came down with a thunk and a click. It was right then that he felt it. Something was incredibly wrong. Something knew of him, and that something was scaring him. He stops for a moment and looks around to see if he can find the source of this fright.
