Courtyard (North)

Erika growled as she saw him starting to climb. He was becoming very troublesome indeed. The hetal in the earth was almost ready to erupt into several sharp blades, but she needed him to be down on the ground first...or, maybe not.

Smirking she shifted her concentration to metal rising under the tree where he was. Double hit, spilntered wood, metal eruption and perhaps another one whilst he was in the air.

"Honestly i aint no rookie!"

Craking her fingers she lifted the concnetration that was holding the metal in place beneath the ground under the tree and let it snap back. Like lightining the metal rose in a sharp point, smashing through the tree with no mercy and no regards as to what was going on. If he jumped she would another, if he got hit...perfect!

"Heh. I don't display my powers, like a certian someone!"

All she was doing was blowing hot air, trying to prove that seh could stick up for herself using her powers. At the end of day she was displaying, not him. Suddenly eh felt rise, quicker than he liked. If she didn't stop him she could very easily kill him.

The force beneath him was causing his wings to vibrate, the pain rang through. Damn she knew! If he wanted to slow her attack down he would have to force his wings open, to act as a slowing agent.

Gritting his teeth he forced open his wings and felt several muscles tear in them. They were slowing him down, but ther was no way he could them to fly, not at the moment.

He closed his eyes tight, the pain seering through. But now that he was slowing down he could focus on another attack. Forcing both sowrd together, combining his powers into one he called forth one of his attacks.

"Dragon blast!"

Both element mingled together and at a high rate they blasted of the sword in a swirling mass of dark and celestial magic. Tearing through everything in their path!

Kamaria was startled although she would make the blast a fruitless attempt; she would not lose to some interruption whining, sarcastic winged boy! She could see the blast hurtling toward she almost in slow motion and since she was pretty close she managed to doge it with some effectiveness by using the air as a little reflection barrier, merely resulting a large but not to deep wound on her arm, she flinched and the winged boy's supporting air falters and she almsot let him fall:

"Now do you really want my concentration to falter? And dear, this is no display this is child splay..."

Kamaria smiled as she began to jerk the air he was supported by around, she stopped after a short while getting bored with the tormenting. She smiled at him in that you know your in for it way...

"If you give up i might drop you slowly...It seems your wings are a little shall we say 'out of order'...Humm if you amuse me i might take you to the hospital wing after..."

The guy was sweet in that totally 'abolish me' way, she intended to drive him into the ground and perhaps even harm him a little after, but she figured she'd wait for his reply first...

"Agh!"

Dewei felt the trees wood began to split under him taking a last leap of faith he jumped from the branch heading straight towards the raven girl, he felt a piece of wood slide and cut up his back, like a whip lashing and he groaned as blood began to fall...He had underestimated the girls, it seemed the Wing Guy wasn't doing great either. The Brunette had got him on tenterhooks by the look of it....Swinging his whips in the air he manged to do what he intended they wrapped around the raven girl's shoes allowing him not to fall to the ground; or so he though. The whip began to slip and before he knew it. Bang. He hit the ground and his knee made a painful clicking sound, he'd popped his joint out of place. That was never a good thing in any circumstance...

"Gees girl, i saw that first look from you, you thought i was cute. Try not to ruin the cuteness now..."

He was mainly referring to the cut on his back, it wouldnt scar badly but it would cause on hell of a sting later. his voice was accented with chinese but he had obviously been around someone with an American accent too for that was also detectable...He sighed and thought about clambering to his feet but instead he waited. he need to think everything so far had been a fruitless attempt at harming that girls that had obviously not underestimated the guys;like they had the girls...

He grinned through the pain. One thing he didn't need to rely upon was his wings. Truly and honestly. He was part demon, and although his celestial magic was a doubled sided sword, meaning it could kill him if forced too. His dark arts could save him.

"Who said i needed Wings hun?!"

Releasing his hold of dark on his sword he let the celestial magic fill them both. Whereas his dark element stretched out and wrapped itself around creating a shield and a barrier, as it brough him back down to the ground safe and sound. Though inside, when he folded his wings he felt more tiny muscles tear. God damn this girl didn't joke around. He felt blood filling his lungs from the wings ripping and clenched his teeth so tightly he thought he might break his own jaw.

Once on the ground he remained inside the dark barrier. He needed to think of seomthing else and something quick.

She shook her head but did not even move any closer to see him. For soem reason she had a feeling if she did someting would go wrong. Though she had to admit he was rather cute as he lay there, with his cheeky attitude. Looking over at Kamari she floated over and smiled.

"It seems we have more in common than most."

She laughed, both of them had been under estimated and both had proven string without the use of weapons. Keeping the pressure on the earth metal tight she stopped them from erupting. But she wasn't sure if she should.

"Do you think they've learnt yet...or should we hurt them some more!"

Kamaria smirked, the boy had some sense about him; not to worry she could knock that out of him...She listened to Erika's words, she was right they did have more in common than originally expected...

"I suppose we do...As for those pair i think we should ask the poor little dears themselves. And if not we can fix that and easily...Ouch looks like chain boy got you a little their, nothing to bad though. Mind you i let winged idiot get me too. Humph...Lets see if they want to leave and go lick their wounds of not..."

She smiled and looked down at the shield, it was just like a shadow shield; and pretty easy thing to break once you know how...

"Think i should break the winged idiots shield?...Yeah i think i should..."

The question was rhetorical, she intend to break the shield either way...the air around her began to vibrate violently and hurtle towards the ground at a razor sharp speed. It seemed to be int eh shape of a pointed object like a dagger, and it began to crack down on the shield eventually; Crack. forcing it into to and into nothing...Smirking she began to float towards the ground but her concentration altered as she watched the shield smash and she began to hurtle towards the ground, manging to regain control it look as if she had done nothing more but descend quickly; or so she hopped. As she reached the ground she stumbled off of her 'air platform; and into the winged idiot. She grumbled shoving him away sharply and stepping backwards...

"had enough yet? You look pretty injured..."

She glanced over to the chain boy before looking back at the winged idiot in that 'i could carry this fight on all day' way...

Dewie watched as the brunette broke the shield like it was butter, and he sighed this was not going well. However the girl seemed to hurtle toward the floor and he hoped she would hit the floor and they;d have an advantage but she merely seemed to stumble in the winged guy and step back before posing a perfectly appropriate question...

Dewei clambered to his feet, obviously not fairing to well. He watched as the Wing guy managed to land decently in his shield but he looked damaged on the inside. Sending his mind out he spoke to the winged guy telepathically "Don't freak its me, I think we should give up before we end up in the sick bay..."

He looked up at raven girl waiting for her to come down and gloat at him for him having lost. Or about to lose; but if winged guy didnt give up he wasn't giving up either...

The blood slipped out of his mouth. The seize had now spread to his arms. HIs wings were connected to his shoulder blades, thus connected to his arms. He could feel it tightening and forcing him let go of both swords. He could himself shut his eyes in slight embarassment. Usualy his shield were a lot stronger, mainly because he wasn't in soo much pain or fighting with seized wings. But he to admit defeat. He couldn't actualy fight any more.

The blood trickled out of his voice as listened to Dewei voice in his head. Wasn't the first time he had telepaths in his mind.
"I can't. My arms have seized as well. so either way im going to the hospital wing and im going to be there for a bit"

Looking up at Kamaria he gave a weak smile. He hadn't inteded on fighting he was trying to help cool things off. but it seemed he was way off base there.

"You have my apologies for intruding on your business...you win!"

His breathing became slightly heavier. This wasn't good and the nursing staff were going to yell ever so loudly at him.

Upon hearing his admit to deafeat she made the metal settle down again so that she could actualy relax the control. But she to admit she felt sorry for the winged guy. She could see from the way he was fighting his wings were seized. But it was over now.

Floating down to the ground, she hovered next to Dewei and winked playfully, as she spoke to Kamaria.
"They look beat. Besides he aint looking too good."

Turning to Dewei she grinned and looked at his whip and chain links. She broke it, she could fix it too. Great power metal manipulation.
Concentrating on the broken links she forced them over to the whip and re sealed them back to their former glory.

"Just watch yourself next time."

Her attention was divereted however, the winged boy was coughing up blood. No matter how much she hated his interuption she didn't like what was supposed to be just a fight for fun..in her mind...to be a very painful one for someone else.

"hey..you...you gonna be ok?"

Kamaria felt a little bad, she hoped she hand caused the coughing of blood...Showing the only sign of sympathy since the battle she sighed, putting aside pride she walked over to the boy put a hand on his shoulder...

"Want help to the hospital wing? I think this got a little out of hand..."

It wasn't remorse it was a small sign of compassion. Wow Kamaria actually had compassion. That was a new one... She smiled to show it was real compassion although she doubted that after the battle he would trust her. He didnt have to trust her he just had to accept her help...

Kamaria replied to Erika back in her normal none compassionate tone;

"We won after all...Perhaps we should all head over to the hospital wing? all of us got some injures. Some more minor that others..."

She was referring to how both she and Erika had come off with a few scratches her and there where as the boys well, one was coughing up blood and the other had a cut right across his back...

Dewie looked at the girls she still didnt know their names; oh well he'd find out sooner or later...Listing to the winged guys mind in his own he knew they had lost the battle and badly so. He sighed him too admitting defeat.

"Alright i get the point no more interruptions when you girls are arguing..."

He stopped speaking when his whips suddenly began to reform back into their old glorious selves, he smiled...

"Thanks...Hey you OK?..."

He decided if everyone else could ask he could too...Something about the way the brunette spoke when showing compassion reminded him of someone he once knew ; but he couldn't think of who...

Nodding slightly his arms quivered due to the tightenes of his limbs. They weren't allowing him to move very far but none the less he had to move some how. Taking a deep breath he tried to force himself up. It was only for a few seconds but the pain was unbearable, forcing him to stay where he was and clenching his teeth together.

Emabarased he spoke to Dewei's mind. He hated having to ask for help, especialy after he got his a** tanned by a girl.
Uh, would you mind helping me...my arms really are frozen here
from there he looked to the ground, his weapons were lying on the ground and his bag was behind him. Damn no wonder he ended up seizing half the time. oh well.

"If it wouldn't too much hassle...yeah, plese. i'd love the help"

Erika retracted her wings, the small bones once again breaking and snapping back into place as they folded back into her shoulders. She ahd grown used to this pain, but you know it still hurt like hell.
Sighing she looked over at the winged boy. He looked like he needed some help. Rather pathetic, but then again she guessed it was partly her fault he was in that state. Shrugging her shoulders she walked over to where he was and lifted his weapons for him.

"You know, when your wings seize like...you realy shouldn't fight!"

She smiled lightly as she pointed the blades at his nose, like giving a lecture. How she enjoyed making people feel small. Grabbing the sheaths for the sword form his side she placed them inside and looked over at the other boy and grinned.

"You need any help? after all that little slice might have been more painful than you thought."

She was genuinely asking. She knew there were certain nerves to the back which didn't send out pain till much later...dleayed reaction and what not. So he may or may not be in pain.

Dewei groanded as his back began to sting as if almsot on que at Erika's words. Scowling he tried to stumble to his feet. He muttered as he fell back once more...

"I hate to impose but i could do with a hand also..."

He looked hopefully towards the girls, it was embarrassing to have your but whipped by two girls but it was even more embarrassing to then have to ask them for help...It was a bit like falling in the dirt and having someone push your face into it; not very nice...

Kamaria felt guilty, his wings had been injured true; she had intended to use that against him. She sighed and bit back to urge to be sarcastic. And instead stuck to being slightly compassionate.

"OK we'll help. Hold still and I'll use the air to carry you to the hospital wing...Erika can you help chain boy over there..."

the air began to vibrate violently aorund the ground were the winged boy was sat. Within seconds he was slowly and less violently lifted into the air. This time the trip should be more pleasant that hurtling towards the clouds supported by someone you were fighting...She sighed as her head began to ache; this was what happened with too much use of her power. It was mainly because of blood-loss also which meant her concentration had dropped.

Rhianwyn gave Airah an apologetic look, "Sorry about that..."
She didn't know what else to say and was glad that Airah had suggested that they head for the dorms without making too much of a deal of her loss of control.
The three of them headed toward the dormitories.

Erika nodded as she placed the winged boys' weapons in her belt next to her own claws that hung behind her back. She strode towards him and sighed. Perhpas she had gone a tad over board with the whole...'i'll teach you a lesson' thing. She wrinkled her nose when he tried to get up. If he did his back would be in too much pain to actualy suppport him. It seemed he didn't realise this little fact.

"Don't move. You're in just as much trouble as him over there, what we don't want is for you to cause more injuries to yourself"

Her voice had become slightly softer, just like Kamaria, she found it difficult to be compassionate. But she had done this and it was needed. So she did feel a little guilty. Bending on her knees she tucked her arms around his waist and under his arms to support him, gently pulling him to his feet. She would do normaly use here telekentics to do this, but she had used way too much power to actualy focus on that.

Turning her face to Kamaria she could tell that she was foricng her power now. Never a good thing.
"It's good thing that the hospital is only a little bit a way...but are you sure you can lift him for that long?"

He could feel himself be drawn into the air, at first he felt unsteady as there was there to support. When he flew he could usualy rely on his wings. But with this, there was nothing there. It took a few minutes to get used to Kamaria simply holding him up with the power of her mind.

Blinking he raised his head to look at her. He wondered if she was ok. She had used a lot of her power, and from what the other girl had said made him worry for her health.

"Are you sure...you're ok?"

Kay stood to her feet streatching her arms over her head, She had gotten lost in her reading and now every mussle in her body demanded to be streatched. She gave a slight yawn and started rummaging through her book bag to see where she had last put her water bottle and travle snacks. The sun was bright and the air warm and cool so she decided to have a small picnic under the tree to take a break.

For some reason Kamaria was surprised someone she had previously been fighting actually showed concern...She didnt know what to say and at first she seemed a little taken aback and so she continued to concentrate on her powers. Eventually after a pause she settled on a emotionless reply...She nodded at Erika in reply to her comment about being able to carry him that far...

"I'm fine, My powers are unlimited; there only limit is how much my mind can take. And its survived more than this..."

She decided to add on a reply to Erika whilst she was there. it seemed they had become more of friends since the battle...

"I'll be fine, he surprisingly doesn't way that much, so its less to carry..."

She smiled and in the smile it was obvious she was secretly thanking the boy for his concern of her health when it was him that was coughing up blood and couldn't move very well...She continued to walk forward the seemingly hovering winged boy in front on her...

Dewei was surprised by Erika's sudden touch of concern, She seemed like the more hot headed of the girls; only just. he was even more surprised when Kamaria smiled at Erika and the winged guy; she reminded him of someone once more but he couldn't thing of who, after the hospital he would have to ask her, her name...

when Erika lent down and helped him to his feet he tried to place as little weight on her as he could, in the gentlemanly fashion. He was still a proud kind of person even after having his butt kicked by two weaponless girls.

"Thanks for the help, and i wont try to cause any more damage. Promise..."

He grimaced a smile as he back throbbed. Dang back cuts hurt; he noted to himself that this would probably leave a thin scar on his back. How typical...

Minami and Livvy strolled into the courtyard from the dorms they had come from. As they walked, Livvy did all the talking about what she had been through since she got to Ria. She mentioned everything - the new people she met, the strange people she met, the Risa/Riku thing, etc. She never felt uncomfortable pouring out her heart and soul to Minami. Had it been anyone else, she'd have given them the cold shoulder or an icy glare. By the time she had finished her story, the two girls had found a nice stone bench to sit on under the shade of a tall tree.

"It all sounds so interesting," Minami said. "You've certainly been busy haven't you, Miranda?" Livvy couldn't help but smile at the name. It made her feel good inside to hear it, to know that Minami hadn't changed since they'd last spoken. As if Minami knew what her friend was thinking, she smiled in return. The action caused Livvy to blush slighty and look away. She didn't realize she'd been staring at Minami the whole time.

"So, uh what have you been up to then?" Livvy said, changing the subject.

"Not much, just the usual. You know, school and what not. I must say I fit in very well at a regular school. No one says anything to me really and I never use my powers when anyone's around." Livvy muttered a 'lucky' under her breath, but Minami heard it and felt bad. "I'm sorry Miranda, I know how hard it was for you."

'It's ok, it's not your fault. In fact, it was thanks to you the kids left me alone." That seemed to cheer Minami up. She looked around the courtyard at all the other kids. They were all different, just like her and Livvy. That made them the same in a way. But whatever it was, it was a comforting thought. Ria High School was so hospitable; all of the students she'd past in the hallways were so kind and friendly. It made her think. But no one's come up to me yet. Miranda's the lucky one. She's managed to make a few friends here. And even though she made enemies in regular school, at least people noticed her. Sure people are nice and they'll say hello or smile as they walk by, but they still go on with their lives as if I was some sort of painting on the wall. I'm admired - seen and not heard, nor spoken to. That's the story of my life. Perhaps that's why I feel so close to Miranda?

Naomi and Cheyenne walked toward the courtyard from the Oliver pLayground they came from. They were bored out of their minds and didn't make any new friends since they came back from vacation when they spotted two girls. the two sisters approaching them with a bow.

" Hello my name is Naomi Snow nice to meet you" She bowed her body to them and came back up with a smiled admiring their pretty looks.

"My name is Cheyenne Snow" said the short hair one who bowed her head and came back up also with a smile admiring them on their looks.

Minami noticed the two girls that came up to them. When they finished introducing themselves, she smiled back at them. "It's nice to meet you." She turned to Livvy who just nodded in acknowledgement but remained silent. Minami knew Livvy was kind of quiet around other people, so she'd wind up doing most of the talking.

""My name is Minami, and this is Mir-oh I mean, Olivia." Minami was so used to calling her friend by her first name, Miranda, that she forgot she went by Olivia to everyone else. "Most people call her Livvy though. You two look identical, are you twins?"
