She stared in his eyes, now furious. "You wanna know what happened?" She glared.

A smarter vampire might have realized that Alena was angry and a better idea would have been to drop the subject. Serako did not. "Yeah I wanna know!"

"Then you're lucky I'm now related to Daminika."

She placed her hand on his cheek, and closed her eyes.

She sent a vision into his head, as all of Dami's family could do. Though her's was unfocused....foggy......but it still got the message across.


There was a house. It was full of blood, knives all around. Two people lay dead on the floor. One was an Anthro-Cat, the other an Anthro-Wolf. A third person stood there, another Anthro-Wolf, a bloodied knife in his hand.

"Alena.....I'm sorry...."

He then stabbed himself, and the vision skipped forward in time.




Alena sat in a chair. In her arms was a small girl. Alena was crying over the loss of her family. A portal appered nearby, and two other girls walked out. They were twins. Nao and Mao. They walked over to Alena.

((and this next part may not be exact, but I'll try to get it as close as possible.))

The twins spoke simultainously. "We want to ask you a question."

"A.....a question?"

"Would you like to join our family?"

"Join......your family? Can you really do that?"

"Yes. But there is a cost. Your memories will be sealed away, as well as your purity. But in exchange, you will have a big loving family, and a high ranking in the demon society."

Alena sighed. "The only purpose I have left in living......is repaying my debt to this family.......but what about Trinket? She's related to Dami. Will I remember her?" She looked down at the girl in her arms.

"She is a blood reletive, so yes."

"I have one final question. Will I still retain my practical knowledge? Like Math, and how to walk?"

"Of course. But you will forget about ever being pure."

Alena looked down, smiling. "I.........I would like to accept your offer. What do I need to do?"

"You let us drink your blood. And you drink ours in exchange."

Mao took Trinket in her arms, while Nao bit her. When she was done, Nao took a dagger, and slit her own wrist. She then forced Alena's head down to it, making her drink it.

Alena's eyes slowly closed, and she fell limp in their arms.




The vision shot forward to a few muinets ago, and showed Serako the light's, and let him feel the pain she had just been through.

Alena released his cheek, and fell on the floor, gasping for air.

Serako pulled straight back, almost to the point where his head rebounded against the wall."AH!" Serako placed his hands on his temples and tried to relax himself. His mind was lost in these images, trapped in the pain of the visions of Alena's past. He fell against the wall, where his shouting eventually passed and subsided for heavy breathing. His head hurt immensely and he couldn't immediately react to Alena lying on the floor breathing as heavily as she was.

"So now you know.........I've been through alot...........probably the most........out of anyone here............" she said, regaining her breath.

"Welcome to Blood Moon."

Serako worked his way back to an upright position, now sitting against the wall, still struggling to catch his breath. "A simple "I've been through a lot, so stop being a jerk" might have done the job..." It's clear he's trying to convey fury but both exhaustion and a better understanding for Alena has dulled his sharp tongue. "...sorry."

"Still, it was probably good for me. I need practice with that ability. As you can see, I've only been part of Dami's family for about 8 days now."
